Hey everyone! Brendan here back with part 3 in the Bricksmaven series. Today, we deploy a new site, connect to a subdomain, deploy bricks, Core, AT, and set up the header and footers. Didn't really get as far as I wanted, but you get the idea.
Thanks for sticking around. Let me know if you have feedback, if you like longer or shorter vids, etc. Constant learning process :)
Coreframework set up from Brickslabs: brickslabs.com...
    Get Bricksmaven: bricksmaven.com/
    Get Bricks: bricksbuilder.io

Thanks for your posts Brendan. As a WP novice and someone who has gone straight to Bricks it's a bit of a baptism of fire! 😁 I also have CF and ACSS/Frames/B'maven (I know, all the gear, no idea!) so anything I can gleam about these systems is very useful.
I follow some good developers on YT but much of what they say is for other developers and is about my pay grade. I watch most of Kevin Geary's vids (though I speed them up as they can be long) but I had to slow down your Part Three post to try and follow along. I am sure you were clock watching (for the fourth time), judging by the apologies, but maybe cut it in half (3A & 3B 🙂) so the old, unskilled boys can still follow along...
I am interested in CF but found it frustrating regarding breakpoints as my test build is on a 1920px photography portfolio site for my work and it seemed to me you couldn't add extra breakpoints to keep it progression without making all the entries manually. Also the replicated clamp functions on headings doesn't give me the same opportunities for scaling as the ACSS does.
I'm sure there are some simple fixes or 'just drop some css in here' but my coding is still at the cut-n-paste level!
    Keep up the good work...

great feedback, thanks! it's a delicate balance between wanting to cover a lot, wanting to cover it well, but not drag on, but also not go too fast. and then you look at the time and adjust. but you're right. it would have been smarter to split it into 2 videos as there is a lot I cover, but none of it very in depth.
when you said your project is 1920px, are you referring to the inner container vs the 1400px container that is default with Coreframework? presumably you still have padding on mobile? id need to spin up another site to test it out. you can also do and add an xxl breakpoint (where I adjusted my breakpoints) for larger widths above the 1400 or whatever you set as your default

i'm seeing now your photography site is very wide. i'll try and test out some other container widths and additional breakpoints if i get some time

If you follow Kevin.. also follow Kevin Powell, his CSS skill level is genius and you will most certainly learn ALOT from him. And he is extremely easy to learn from. www.youtube.com/@KevinPowell

Thanks@@BrendanOConnellWP but I didn't expect you to work on it. I meant Container width of 1920px, you know how much photographers love to show off their images 😁
In my Bricks/ACSS version I have added an extra breakpoint at 1920 in both. I see most developers recommending not to have a big jump between 'devices', though it doesn't seem to make much difference to responsiveness between my 27" monitor and my laptop so maybe it doesn't matter that much.
Problem seems to me that I can change the widest BP to whatever I want but if I try and create an extra size CF gives me a blank canvas for that particular dimension.
Truth is I've just blown a packet on an LTD for ACSS so this is all pretty academic. I'm building a couple of simple blog sites for friends using Generateblocks and CF seems to integrate via Gutenberg/GB...ACSS is supposed to run ok too...lots to learn!
Thanks for your offer but you can park my original query unless its a quicky one to answer. Thanks again.

Remote templates are also only for LTD. I just found out after purchasing. I asked for a refund. Not sure why it's locked for paying customers

My apologies, I didn't know that until just a day or 2 ago. I left a note in the description of Part 1, and at the start of part 2, I mentioned the Figma files are being working on and were only for LTD holders. I did see some mention of the LTD coming back or being reworked but I don't know more than that, so if you are still wanting to pick up Bricksmaven, that would be the opportunity.
