i think it split because space and time are controlled by palkia and dialga so killing them would make the universe very unstable
And to think this hasn't included some of the more canonically busted legendaries from gen 8 onwards.
Eternatus and Terapagos would completely mess up this battle royale even more.

My head canon is that since Legends Arceus revealed the Arceus we see in most games is just a small part of Arceus's whole and that Arceus can create endless legendaries in the Eternal Battle Reverie, this whole sim is Arceus creating legendaries to fight each other because it's bored.

I personally think that the only Pokémon that had a chance of winning were Arceus, Necrozma, Victini, Ghiritina, Yveltal, Tapu Koko, Landorus, Zygarde, Thundorus, Zeraora, Sylvany, Dialga, Palkia and Groudon

This has to be one of my favorite depictions of Arceus, not just a big smug horse with a hula hoop, but an unfathomably powerful creature to whom reality is just a lucid dream.

Actually, Arceus shouldn’t have even lost any power when it made the jewel, either. We’re talking about a being that can create and erase galaxies in the blink of an eye.

I know we are all talking about Necrozma absorbing Victini to gain it’s “power of victory”, but can we also talk about the fact that it ALSO absorbed Jirachi, who has the power to grant ANY wish? My mans was really going for the W
Lore-wise, Necrozma would snowball absurdly hard by picking off and absorbing the legendaries 1 by 1 until it becomes an unholy dread god pokemon that can go toe-to-toe with full-aspect Arceus as a literal battle of gods. I don't even think that kind of battle is even possible to comprehend nonetheless portray in any possible format.
@@joshuakim5240 What I do want to see is a battle of the Light Pokemon as I call them.
That Includes Mega Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma with the Z Stone, Eternamax Eternatus, and the Disk Pokemon, whatever it may be.
The Idea is that each of these pokemon are overpowered and meta defining in one way or another, and the weakest lore wise is still an Earth Level Threat, being that it comanded the most primal forms of Earth and Sea, witch represent Pre Life Earth. Hostile, hot and desolate, yet severe in storm and tempest. Finally, all these pokemon could come from or live within Space, being that Rayquaza Lives in the Ozone Layer, Necrozma having been the representation of Light, Eternatus being a Space Dragon (flying Saucer thing) and the Disk Pokemon being an entire region along with having possible connections to Dialga and Mega Evolution. (Primal Dialga may be canon in the main storyline as Primal Reversion is similar in energy type to that of Mega Evolution, being the Stone that Dropped From space seems to be a supercharged Mega Stone holding an unnatural amount of energy.)
Oh, did I forget that they also represent there respective Gimmicks in one way or another. The Emerald Dragon bathed in Rainbow Light. The fractured God of Light using one final attack. A pokemon, colossal in size and power, allowing for unnatural growth, and finally, the crystalline pokemon, able to change the types of anything.
@@barstool9156 would it be too much to suggest adding the Original Dragon to that lineup?
Because it introduced the concept of Fusion to the series, something that Necrozma and Calyrex both use.

I think that Fusion would be held under the same classification of Primal Reversion. An interesting gimmick, along with the fact that its used multiple times, but not really something super major to how the game plays. Its just a cool stat change, and works similar to mega evolution.
The light Pokemon are called the Light pokemon because while they all share the fact that they are the most powerful pokemon able to take advantage of there respective Gimmicks, they share power similar to that of Necrozmas. Mega Evo and Zmove have been stated to be similar in energy and activation, requiring a bond with the trainer and only being able to be activated once per battle. Zmoves came from Necrozmas light, while Mega Stones rained down from the Superweapon. What if the superweapon unknowingly produced the same light as that of Necrozmas, but because of the form it took, caused wildly different results. Next we have Gigantamax, witch once again, requires a stone from space holding a seemingly overpowered energy that can spur on form changes within the pokemon, if only temporary, while also causing there proceeding moves to do a massive amount of damage, like Zmoves. Finally terastalization is a Form change that causes the pokemon to become a different type while also buffing the damage of the same type moves. While its no stat buff, it does change typing like that of Mega Evolution. All the pokemon that represent these gimmicks seemingly are ancient space dwellers that took up living on earth, and thus causing a series of events that lead to each and every gimmick, or were changed forever by the gimmick. (would rayquaza just have a mega stone lying around in its stomach, sort of like a Charizadite X or a couple Key Stones. because it does eat meteors.)
This would’ve been the perfect episode to make a pseudo legendary joke
Necrozma's whole damn thing and final battle with Arceus honestly remains as one of my favorite moments in the channel.
My man appeared, absorbed Victini, doomed and abandoned Earth and all the legendaries on it, absorbed Jirachi, Lunala, Solgaleo, and The Sun itself before movijg on to challenge GOD HIMSELF, where he then vaporized Palkia, Celebi, and Diagla and broke out of the complete halt of time before approaching Arceus for the final duel that causes a universe split is just, so damn awesome, especially with that damn music, mwah, perfection.
Ahhh I'm probably nit making much sense, but, I like it, it's epic.

I like how after 4:38 when Yveltal dies and kills all life on Earth, the music changes into Ultra Necrozma's theme. Because it's no longer a battle between the legendaries to see who comes out on top, it's a battle between Ultra Necrozma and **all of existence itself.**

I'd like to think it's more of a battle between Ultra Necrozma and his universe. I'm of the belief that Beta Arceus is a thing and the Arceus we see is just one of its 1000 hands. Also, each run of pokemon is its own universe, so there are more than one.

I think what caused the timeline split was that there was literally no way that Necrozma would ever be able to win against Arceus, HOWEVER, Necrozma had absorbed Victini's energy, so by Victini it was ensured to always, always win. But with two unbeatable forces going up against each other, reality itself ended up fracturing into two in order for both possibilities to still take place.

Even after Necrozma absorbed Victini and killed several gods including Dialga and Palkia, no less. It really puts into perspective how powerful Arceus actually is. Even after all that, Necrozma only barely managed to level the playing field, and it's still a matter of who hits who first.

My thought is that in canon Arceus would win. Why is that? It is because Arceus literally created every Pokémon in one way or another and knows how to deal with them. NOT TO MENTION ARCEUS LITERALLY DELETED NECROZMA WITH A SNAP IN THE ENDING WHERE ARCEUS WINS. That is why.
