Singer Erik Grönwall’s striking charisma paired with the powerful energy created by the band makes every H.E.A.T concert an extraordinary experience. This was also true for the performance at Sweden Rock festival on June 7th, 2018 which followed their highly acclaimed studio album “Into The Great Unknown” which Classic Rock UK praised as “the most complete album of their career”.
Their second ever live recording - and for the first time on video - includes all of the band’s remarkable hymns such as “Living On The Run”, “A Shot At Redemption” or “Bastard Of Society”. You are 1000% right Svetlana. I talk about them on my show all the time as the best current 80s metal sound out there... If they play in the USA (when all this pandemic is over) I will definitely support them buy going to their live shows, and in the meantime I buy their CDs for my collection and enjoy watching them on TH-cam. You have excellent taste in music :)

The only thing I dont like about their live shows is that they played almost only songs from Tearing Down the Walls and Into The Great Unknown Instead of the other albums. I like TDTW but I never liked ITGU
@@MrFrostien I mean, this _was_ on their _Into the Great Unknown_ tour, so it makes sense that they'd play songs from that album. I'm just sad that I never got to properly see them tour for _H.E.A.T II._
I saw this concert live. Best one at the festival... and that was right AFTER Iron Maiden was finished on the main stage.They blew the ...ehhh... roof... off the place.

Erick is amazing... skid row is a step down from this.. his band is amazing... unknow songs that he makes them sound like the biggest songs ...crazy
yeah when he was with HEAT I became a big fan, but he left before Skid Row was even on his radar. He left and was not going to sing anymore.. then he got sick and it gave him time to reevaluate his life and talent and started to sing again during treatment and that's when Rachel called.

I am so sad Erik Grönwall left, vocals are very powerfull yet so melodic, he really has something unique in his voice, plus his presence and energy on stage are absolutely amazing and he really sings his heart out... I never had the opportunity to see them live :(
agreed, though I am excited about New Horizon since Power Metal is pretty much my bread and butter. I did like the remake of Rise they redid with their old (returned) singer- I hope both bands tour together, that'd be incredible!

This band is out of this planet! They sound just amazing, impressive & catchy songs, from their first to last album. (II is a masterpiece). Both Eric and Kenny have unique voices that suits great for the band.
Sweden really does make some of the best music and best bands. Only just descoverd these guys. Only found ghost a few years ago and I'm desperate to see them live.
Another Swedish band to check out for you is Crazy lixx, they sound more 80's than the 80's. Eagle is a good song to start with
Me too; just got turned on to Sweden and Finland not too long ago. These guys need to be touring the US~! Better than most of our 80s metals band ever were!

I've watched a lot of live shows by Swedish and other European glam/rock bands. I will say that this is very close to the best I've ever seen. Some bands are studio bands, others put on a great show with average music. These guys have it all! Great addition to my music collection; thanks for all your hard work - it is greatly appreciated! Hope to see you guys in the US sometime!!!

Then you have a mission, check out Nestor, also a swedish band that is heavily inspired by the 80s sound. they have "only" one album out, but its a fucking killer to be honest.

Jamás había escuchado ésta banda!. Estaba muy arraigado al metal de los 80's que del 2000 en adelante no escuché ninguna banda nueva, y la verdad, me arrepiento!. Hoy en día doy gracias a estas nuevas bandas que no dejaron morir al metal. Y ésta banda me ha impresionado.. estuve leyendo en wikipedia que su principal influencia son Bon Jovi y Europe, pero nada más lejos de la realidad.. ésta banda tiene q estar influenciada en un 1000% por Skid Row, de eso no hay duda!. Suenan idéntico.
Muy buena ésta banda, desde hoy los sigo.

Anders Eriksson A few Scandinavian metal bands have played in Vancouver. I saw Enslaved, Blood Red Throne and a Dimmu Borgir at the Rickshaw Theatre back in 2010 and it was a sick show. Would love to see a Swedish rock band for a change.
Anders Eriksson Rickshaw must’ve closed due to COVID-19. That’s understandable, I guess. But yes, the Commodore Ballroom I would go to next anyway because I’ve never been there. I’ve driven past it with my older brother a few times but that’s it. Never been inside. And I hear it’s capacity can hold up to 1,000 people.

Mannequin Show has a Rainbow feel to it. Very heavy classic hard rock feel and groove. They know how to work in the keyboard with their music. Agreed that HEAT is very overlooked in the US.
