@@stevenebirim921 true she also moved to norwood from around 9yrs old. She attended year 6 and all of secondary school in South London but Yh before that she lived in Tottenham area
This was really good and really enjoyable and educational, as someone whose not from the UK it gives me insight on a small part of English football

The most frustrating thing Growing up in catford South east London was right next to our house there was a football pitch which we wasn't aloud to use, Had to climb over the fence and sneak in just to have a proper kick about.
Thanks for making this video South london has been over looked for way too long and I'm hoping someone will see this and give us more access to football instead of taking it away from us.

Great short doc this. Shows how much talent there is in South London especially and well highlighted the amazing work that community clubs and coaches do in an increasingly unequal city. The average cost to hire a football pitch shows how contradictory our government is in tackling growing issues such as antisocial behaviour and knife crime when you're pricing our youth out of being able to afford to hire a pitch. The developmental benefits of facilities like cages and football pitches needs to be prioritised over profit so it's great to see the work of the likes of Lambeth Tigers being highlighted here. Made me proud to be a South Londoner x

Football has always been a game of the streets. Poor working class neighborhoods have been producing the best footballers for
Awhile now. Whether it's the favellas of Rio or the cages of South London. Football is that way out of the streets that a lot of poor youngsters unfortunately don't have. This reminds me a lot of American Basketball culture,Great video lads!
Wonderful video lads. Great to see more provisions for young lads to take them away from gangs and violence. I never grew up in the inner city, but I can imagine that the temptation to go down a bad path is quite high so well done to the organisers and funders for making these pitches available and giving these lads an escape route

Respect Oba. We have that same issue here in Oakland. So much young talent (like my little cousin, who I'm sure would smash it in a top academy) that just gets overlooked. It's like more than 100 dollars per session at pitches that I grew up playing on! RIDICULOUS.
