    When it gets cold, windy and rainy here in the states, I have a tendency to hit the gym. Cycle treadmill, and some upper body strength work until it’s warmed up that’ll be it.

      Hi @richmurphy1787 That can be a good plan - work on things that you wouldn't normally do and provide a different stimulus. Thanks for commenting.

    Im getting out on my mtb. Two 2 hour rides. On some section i go flat out. Without dooubt, my bikehandling skills have improved but more importantly my motivation is maintained.
    Anoter thing, i get out on my bike fitted with a hub dynamo/ headlamp, this sets me up for riding through the night on a long audax
