Thanks! I was actually just looking at the Mantis Pods the other day to see what the differences were. As far as I can see, I think the main difference is the head - the Multi Mount doesn't really have a head just a mount.
@@TheTechnologyManvery interesting thank you. So the Insta 360 version does not have a head that would be a drawback I guess? sorry I’m a newbie Now I just need to figure out which one I ordered. LOL
I don’t use photos a lot on action cameras - I honestly find I can grab a pretty good still from the video. But photos on the Ace Pro are good - and like most of Insta360’s cameras there’s a very capable HDR mode too.
Today I bought the Ace Pro for 369.99 euros in the official Insta360 store where there are some super offers. I'll write an update as soon as it arrives.
I’ve used pretty it much non-stop as an action camera and not had any issues. But the supplied adapter does need to be carefully secured - I always give it a good yank after installing it. I’d definitely get back to Insta360 if your clip is not working as it should!!
If you have this camera, let me know what you think of it! Please don't forget to like and subscribe if the video helped you out - thank you!
Great video! I have the Ace Pro on order. Is the Multi Mount and Mantis Pod 2.0 the same thing?

@@sidzhottake The Insta360 version works fine with small cameras. It's versatile but a little slow / tricky to deploy.
@@TheTechnologyMan I think I ordered the non-instant 360 mantis pod to work with the ace pro so I should be fine?
Thanks for your review. Do you know how the photos compare with other Action Cameras? With 48MP sensor, it should be OK for cropping. Thanks.

How do you like it?
It's not an action camera. It's a vlogging camera. I haven't been able to use mine since I bought it. The magnetic clip mount is not reliable.
