Completely agree - there's always someone going to nitpick on one negative and ignore all the pros; the main thing is to make a plan and act on it if you are serious about moving. For me 1. There's so much to do here. 2. Travel is great - been to 8 countries in middle east in last year, flights are like £100-200 each time. 3. I work in tech/startups and Islamic finance which is a growing ecosystem here. 4. I can see my mosque from the window which is a 30-second walk, and I live in downtown Dubai. 5. My parents love to visit and it's nice for them to get out the UK. 6. The weather is so nice (in winter at least)
just wondering if you have knowledge of starting a business here given that you work with startups brother. Could it be harder for people to move if their business idea isn't a massive startup and is more of a part-time passion project?
Absolute false advertising. I know kids whose hearts are attached to the masjid and they never left the U.K. the same way I lived in the uae and the mosques close after salah! No activities no halaqaat, nothing! The kids hearts are tied to the malls. This promise of Islamic utopia in the UAE is utter B.S. everyone is looking for a easy fix. There js none, you must do the work wherever you are. You can emigrate to the uae- I did. But don’t expect an Islamic utopia! Infact you’ve got to work a LOT harder in your kids because arabs believe in teaching Islam to their children only when they start their period or their voice breaks. So kids raised in the west who have been wearing hijab since year3 get to Dubai only to find their Muslim friends telling them they don’t have to wear jt. Bruh, don’t get sold a false dream. At19min brothers you mentioned decoration bit I heard from sheikh Al-fawzan that's it's bid'ha? I used to decorate the house for my kids but now I'm.not sure ?
Permissible under few conditions. That it should not be regarded as an act of worship, rather it comes under the heading of permissible customs, not to spend high prices (I know mostly they’re very cheap) no images or musical devices.
Setting up decorations upon the arrival of Ramadan is haram and a reprehensible innovation. The reason being as follows: 1. The act of welcoming an annual event by setting up decorations and lightings, indicating to others that a special religious occasion is arriving; this is the way of the Christians, who light up their houses and decorate it to let people know that their annual religious event has arrived. This form of greeting a certain day, month or year is anonymous to the Muslims, and no work of the past scholars exist where decorating the houses for Ramadan was mentioned, because such a concept was anonymous to them. Muslims in the last few generations started copying the Christians, and imitating them is prohibited. Anyone who decorates them today is doing nothing but imitating the Christians. 2. This is an innovation, and believing it to be an act of worship or a mere custom is irrelevant here; because customs are those which aren't associated with a religious event. Decorating the house specifically for the arrival of a new month was never done by the Prophet or the Sahabah, and it is clear that 'custom' had no relation to this. Doing this is done as an act of worship, and the default rule is that establishing a practice requires evidence from the Shari'ah; no evidence to permit this exists. 3. Decorating contradicts the essence of Ramadan; which is to spend on others. Yet you waste money to decorate your own house! What kind of Islam is this? Do you remember the poor, needy, widows, orphans by showing them that you spent an absurd amount of money on decorating and lighting your house?! 4. If one doesn't believe that they are doing it as an act of worship; then Allah only accepts that which was done for His sake. So if you aren't doing this as an act of worship, you are saying that you aren't doing this decoration for Allah's sake, so what benefit exists in doing an act for which you do not seek reward from Allah?

I would say look into the Islamic universities in Saudi, they offer scholarships and accept that age range. Look up “Study in Saudi Arabia”’s channel in sha Allah, he has a lot of beneficial information on this. May Allah help you both to seek knowledge and facilitate the means to it.
If you're willing to travel abroad, he could try to apply to an Islamic University in Saudi (if he's a revert there's an increased chance of him getting accepted) and if he gets accepted and flies over there, he could fly you out to him. From my knowledge, the uni with the least age restrictions is Umm al Qura which is in Makkah (about 20 minutes away from Masjid al Haram) and they have a campus for both men and women (so both of you could apply to study at the university there). Keep in mind that the Islamic University of Madinah has the most restrictions when it comes to bringing the wife over (if you start from scratch in the Arabic program, you'd have to wait a minimum of 3 years for the uni to allow him to fly you over and he'd also have to give the uni a deposit of around 30,000 riyal [which they'd eventually give you back]. There's no woman campus. There are ways around this though, and there are classes/institutions for women to learn over there that are separate to the university, but know that the university in Madinah is the strictest when it comes to bringing the wife over). The degrees tend to last for about 6 years (2 years to learn Arabic, 4 years for the actual Islamic studies). Pretty much everything would be paid for by the uni except for your maintenance (shopping, bills, rent etc..), your flight and maybe a few other things. The uni pays for pretty much everything else, so he would have to find a way to earn money on the side to provide for you. Some students have a remote job that they do in their free time, others offer services like translation services/consultation services about Islamic universities etc.. If you BOTH apply to Umm al Qura and BOTH get accepted, then the burden would be lightened because the uni would pay each of you roughly 840 riyals a month. I'm not sure how accommodation would work though, you'd have to research this - I'm not sure if they'd give you a shared room for free or if you'd have to rent a shared room off campus. On the bare minimum though, they'd give you a dorm room that you may need to share with others for free (so you wouldn't be with your husband in this case). If you both apply to a university and get accepted, you'd both be students at the university. If only he applies to a university/if only he gets accepted into one, he could study full time at the uni and he could fly you over and you could study in the institutions/classes that they have for women in places around the university. If he does decide to do this, he needs to make sure to properly take care of you, take you out when you need to etc... (you shouldn't be stuck between 4 walls for 6 years straight). Some students who brought their wives to the Islamic universities neglected them and didn't treat them properly and ended up getting divorced. Yes you're there to seek knowledge but you also need to maintain and take care of your wife. Be strict with your time and make sure your family takes priority over your friends - take her out to places, perhaps revise things together, go for walks at night, don't be wasting too much time with friends at the coffee shop and just "hanging out" with them until midnight etc... This part is something that some of the students at these universities may not take into consideration.

Nowadays, deen and islam are in your heart, and allah guides who he does, and allah misguide who he does. Yes, the Muslim country helps and, of course, hearing the azan ❤. That being said, it's your responsibility to watch your children and have a good upbringing. If you wanna have children, then take on that responsibility. You will be shocked at the stories you hear, even in Muslim countries. I remember hearing this story on the muslim TH-cam channel, how the parents decided to home school their child (for Islamic reasons), the child turned out to be trans. (May allah forbid that to happen to anyone), but just goes to show that your not safe even in your own home, its not about moving because how many times are you gonna keep moving, no mater where you move you have access to the Internet and no one is safe (unless you move to remote area no Internet access/ social media ), its about dealing with it and addressing the issue, being active in your children life. Teaching them about deen, responsibility, and maners not just handing then out the ipad so they dont bother you. Fear Allah and stop causing division among the Muslims. There's no such thing as "Somaliland". Even the mashaayikh who live and teach in Northern Somalia don't refer to it as such.
There is an irony to trying to be being apolitical by referring to it as Somaliland. Like the commenter above said, an arbitrary border by Kufr (who do not even recognise these outdated lines drawn from a hall in Berlin in late 19th century). Nationalism was explicitly mentioned by our Prophet SAW in a Hadith. It is from ignorance and only stokes division.

Utter nonsense and irresponsible drivel. The ridiculous basicness of this video genuinely made me laugh. The average person cannot just pack their bags and move. The UAE is unaffordable for most, and far far away from the Islamic utopia narrative which was ripe in the late 2000's and eventually died down. If you can afford it, and want that 'lavish' Instagram lifestyle then hey, do what you want, but please don't promote it as something that should be done for Islamic reasons. If you feel moving to the UAE is going to fill a void in your Deen or miraculously make you a better Muslim, then quite frankly, you have bigger things to worry about. Who is this even directed at? A person so wealthy he doesn't need to work and can afford the lifestyle that comes with it in UAE or the average person (majority) who has a 9-5 job? ALL the points mentioned on why you should move are naively/intentionally misleading at best, or completely untrue at worst. Easier to go to Umrah? Yes, but the issue for most isn't cost or a marginal reduction in travel time, it's the number of days off they have in the calendar year. FYI - There's a trivial saving on the flights, you still have to pay for hotels there. People should know there is limited access to knowledge in UAE. You have to go there to believe just how inaccessible it is. Where are the study circles? Non-existent. If there are, who is leading them? No one knows. Raising kids - Children are a parents responsibility to raise, and they learn from you and the household. The west has it's problems, but there is a well known poor standard of teaching in UAE, including high cost of education. Especially when kids are of secondary school age, which due to unaffordability and poor schools, most expats move back! As mentioned by others in the comments, you see much more Islam in the UK than the UAE. It's ultimately lazy parenting which results in children not being raised in the right manner. Going to UAE won't miraculously cure this, and it's exactly the type of oxymoronic solution lazy parenting suggests you should do. Besides, you can't actually do much with your kids in the UAE except go to the mall, which of course, may be an appealing lifestyle for some. A big big problem is that mosques do not have an open door policy and they're not community based masajid like they have in the UK. Far far disconnected from the whole intention of having a masjid to cater for the needs of the community, because guess what, there is no community in the UAE! Other points are so ridiculous (clean streets/wrestling etc) they're not worth addressing.
@@SeanS-z2e in Jumu’ah they are full and in every prayer, especially Fajr Maghrib and ‘Isha, there are about 2,3 rows filled depending on which masjid you go to. Obviously many masaajid are enormous so it takes way more people to fill rows, but an average sized masjid will have 2-3 if not 4 rows occupied 3 or 4 times a day. That’s about a minimum of 12 men + the Imam every time
That was one point that lead into another. And the point was about where you get the haircuts done (being close to Saudi and being able to do umrah often). There were many other important points in the video
You should never talk bad about your homeland because they need the dawah the most lots of shirk and bidaa so for people with the language and ilm can help with dawah prophet ibrahim lived alone in a dessert in mecca later he made it haram so luxury and money is last thing to look at
There is nothing wrong with having a lot of money or even seeking it, as long as it's not at the expense of the religion. Do you even know how extremely rich many of the Sahaba were?!
I am very disappointed in this video for a completely different reason. It would be better to make hijrah to ones homeland where they push the dawah further and help facilitate hijrah for others to build a good foundation and change said homeland. Yes the UAE is a great country but it’ll never be your homeland.
@@sb_1389 my comment has nothing to do with tribalism in fact it’s the opposite…it’s be better for Imran and co to go to Pakistan and build up a community rather than settle in the UAE. Brother, if dog drinks or eats from a container and you wanna use that container for eating or drinking then you wash that 7 times. I don't think there is anything like that what you mentioned about faeces. It needs to be washed like other impure or dirty things. Absolute false advertising. I know kids whose hearts are attached to the masjid and they never left the U.K. the same way I lived in the uae and the mosques close after salah! There js none, you must do the work wherever you are. You can emigrate to the uae- I did. But don’t expect an Islamic utopia! Infact you’ve got to work a LOT harder in your kids because arabs believe in teaching Islam to their children only when they start their period or their voice breaks.
الله المستعان...
Decorating the house is not done as a form of worship
Setting up decorations upon the arrival of Ramadan is haram and a reprehensible innovation. The reason being as follows:

Like I’d love to move to a Muslim country, I’m Arabic he’s not. What kind of work could we do in the UAE?

There's no such thing as "Somaliland". Even the mashaayikh who live and teach in Northern Somalia don't refer to it as such.
nations in general are causing division among the muslims@@Anonymous-yh4ho
There is an irony to trying to be being apolitical by referring to it as Somaliland. Like the commenter above said, an arbitrary border by Kufr (who do not even recognise these outdated lines drawn from a hall in Berlin in late 19th century).
Nationalism was explicitly mentioned by our Prophet SAW in a Hadith. It is from ignorance and only stokes division.

Literally want to leave canada because I can’t find one gym here where there are no naked women walking around
Same in the UK habibi
You will be surprised. I saw half naked women in the gym of Oman,on the street of Dubai, in the malls of Malaysia
You can’t mess with Qatar.
Next video is how you did it !
@42:11 This is arrogant and dismissive subhanallah. To say most, and I'm assuming your referring to Muslim brothers, are bums is haughty. Allah SWT may have elevated you but you in return are looking down on "most". It quite literally defeats the intended purpose of Da'wah (to pay the tax on 'Ilm you have acquired through the grace of Allah).
Sahih, I also felt like I lost them there and saw some kibbr
Honestly i think he's right. In the country in which in reside the muslims provide no real value to the society, both deen and dunya wise. So many are living on benefits and wasting time on social media it's insane.

Habibi, come to Dubai to face racism.🤡🤡
What are you barking about?
Outside Ramadan the masjids are empty in Dubai
Why would you lie ? What do you get out of it ?
@@Fulaan7 who said I'm lying lol
@@Fulaan7 apart from jumuah prayer they are close to empty
@@SeanS-z2e I say you are lying.
That’s about a minimum of 12 men + the Imam every time
Asalmualikum akhi, Can you please make a video on how I can get be approached by UAE government to promote their country for living? Jazkallahukhair

These guys still think having haircuts are top priority for people...? Soo confused about priorities
That was one point that lead into another. And the point was about where you get the haircuts done (being close to Saudi and being able to do umrah often). There were many other important points in the video
he means that you can go for umrah so much so that your hair doesnt have the time to grow out
Dubai is doing the same as the west nightclubs alcohol ect ect
Medinah better sorry akhi

depends what you mean by knowledge? salafi misleading imams, its apparent what the arab world is capable of...we can see from here
You should never talk bad about your homeland because they need the dawah the most lots of shirk and bidaa so for people with the language and ilm can help with dawah prophet ibrahim lived alone in a dessert in mecca later he made it haram so luxury and money is last thing to look at
There is nothing wrong with having a lot of money or even seeking it, as long as it's not at the expense of the religion. Do you even know how extremely rich many of the Sahaba were?!
I'd rather live in a country ruled by non believers than sell outs
Who did we buy?
@@Zaabi You brought this World in exchange for the One after
Hijrah is a sunnah.
Hijrah is wajib from non Muslim countries.
I am very disappointed in this video for a completely different reason. It would be better to make hijrah to ones homeland where they push the dawah further and help facilitate hijrah for others to build a good foundation and change said homeland. Yes the UAE is a great country but it’ll never be your homeland.
Tribalism is not from Islam, you should cleanse your heart of this filth.
@@sb_1389 my comment has nothing to do with tribalism in fact it’s the opposite…it’s be better for Imran and co to go to Pakistan and build up a community rather than settle in the UAE. That’s the easy way out Alhamdullilah that’s what some of our brothers are doing going back to their homelands with their skills and knowledge to build up that community so it can make it easier for the next generation to integrate from the west. Nothing wrong with moving to the UAE etc. but there’d be more tangibles moving back home.
@@johnelway9879 that is tribalism. There is no preference for Pakistan and no obligation to build it up. Rather upon the Muslim is to run from fitnah and to the places where the Sunnah is practiced. I'm Pakistani and wish to do hijrah to Pakistan, but no one is obligated to do the same and it's not for you to dictate such.
You believing it's better for a Pakistani to go to Pakistan, instead of where his Deen is best safeguarded IS TRIBALISM by definition.
@@sb_1389 false equivalency I simply stated it is more beneficial for one to do so…if you consider Pakistan darul Islam then why not build a stronger community? Was Abu Dharr not sent to ghiffari tribe to teach his people as were many other sahabahs during the lifetime of the prophet. It is not asabiyah for one to go back to their homelands to improve their community and taking it as such shows disease in the heart. Did Sh ehsan elahi from Pakistan return to the land after studying to teach people about tawheed???
@@johnelway9879 it's better for you to delete your comments and quit while you're ahead. Da'wah is fardh keffayah, not fardh 'ayn, and Pakistan has no shortage of scholars upon the haqq who spread the religion therein.
And by what authority are you dictating to others what is better for them? Unreal and embarrassing, quite frankly.
Brother, if dog drinks or eats from a container and you wanna use that container for eating or drinking then you wash that 7 times. I don't think there is anything like that what you mentioned about faeces. It needs to be washed like other impure or dirty things. If a dog licks your body or cloth, your wuzu is still valid and again simple wash.
Why not move to the place of your origin? Can you bury your deads in Dubai or can you get citizenship in Dubai? If not then better stick to your roots where you will have an identity and can always relate and connect.
Muslim identity >>>> Tribal/ethnic roots
@sb_1389 If you mean tribal areas in Pakistan then there are many people who moved from different countries to Rawalpindi/Islamabad and they are happy.
