I love the way Keaton starts in his normal voice and just slowly drifts into the character's voice as the line continues. That takes a lot of effort and skill to do smoothly.
That's probably how he gets into character. He did the same thing in Batman when he went from his normal "Most of the time." To his bat whisper/growl "I know who you are." to Joker.
I also like this, but it does not take a lot of skill to do... not even a little bit of skill to be honest. Literally anyone can do that. Try saying a sentence and slowly morph it into some other voice. Pretty easy, wasn't it?
