This trip begins in the retail complex along PA 940 and then heads to the big intersection in Mount Pocono where PA 611, PA 940 and PA 196 come together. That intersection has always been tricky to drive through. This trip then goes to Pocono Knob and reaches Pocono Knob at approximately 7:00. There were superb views of the lower portion of the Pocono Mountains, with two of the highlights being Camelback Ski Area which is approximately 6 miles away and the Delaware Water Gap which is approximately 18 miles away. I have never been to Pocono Knob but after seeing this video I want to go there on a nice summer day this summer and take in the beautiful view. This trip then goes back to PA 611, goes through the business district of Mount Pocono and ends at the big intersection. This trip was in Monroe County.
I used to live in Pocono Summit, just down the road from that shopping center. I used to work at that Kmart plaza too, until the property owner passed away back in 2008.
Some of these roads at night are peach black....we need lights on the roads. Between the crazy drivers and the deers we need to see upcoming road with more lights...not just our headlights
Nice drive, been there before on the road. Try this again in summer and especially the fall. Wonderful color.

these roads are scary at night, dunno why my dad likes to live here in the buttfuck middle of the woods.
