Great video! At a vipasana retreat, we were told that when you can't fall asleep, you should just do anapana meditation (~following the breath in a small area below the nostrils) and that the body gets similar rest from that. It may not be totally true, but believing it helps get rid of the stress of not being able to sleep. If I'm ever destroyed the day after a bad night's sleep, what I do is have a 30min nap around noon, that revitalizes me completely. If you WFH, this is quite feasible.
This was really great. I've learned all this good stuff from Huberban as well but it's always helpful to get re-inspired (my sleep last night was not the best so this was good timing!)

I am also super hesitant that you silent your phone. What if there's an emergency and someone's trying to reach you?! 😮 Something that i try to do different is that i cannot do any "brain"/thinking activities. So no crosswords or reading. I also try to not get up and leave the bed after 20 mins of struggling to sleep and do a different activity, which is often recommended. As someone with a lengthy history of all nighters, procrastinating ,and stress cleaning 😅 it just wires my brain to stay more awake.
