There's a bit of a running gag across Total Drama and the Ridonculous Race, in which the contestants can use the confessional even when it seems highly illogical, and it's up to the viewers to decide when they were actually using the confessionals.

I agree Noah and Owen balance each other very well which is why I loved the two of them in World Tour .the chemistry the two have together is priceless making good foils for one another Owen's innocent, stupidity bounces well off of Noah's Sarcastic Know-it-all attitude also MacArthur is one of the funniest characters the show had in a long time and the story arcs in this show lasted as long as they needed to they took the time to develop each story arc thoroughly the best examples being Devin and Carrie and the Dater/Haters
The Ice Dancers completely stole the show for me. They are now my favourite characters in the entire Total Drama series. They were capable, athletic and highly motivated villains and they delivered every line and action with so much flair and bombast it's hard not to just love the absolute crap out of them! Massive props to their voice actors!
yes, but it mentions past events from the original show, such as owne being afraid of the big planes because of wourld tour. jeff, lenord, noah, and owen all return, and you can see a couple frames of chris and blainley, and you can see pictures of chris, and there are side characters that reappear, such as the eskamo, and the fat intern. and there are people voiced by the same people from the original series, so while its a spin-off, i consider it to be cannon.

I honestly hated Taylor, mostly because of how annoying she was and she also constantly blamed everything on Kelly, which also annoyed me. I also feel that I'm one of the few people that just despises the Ice Dancers
The confessionals are meant to have been "filmed in post" like how they do on a lot of other reality game shows, like Big Brother and Survivor, placed in to wherever they'd be most relevant or wherever they were referred to.
Most of the confessionals in these shows (the real life ones) are recorded directly after challenges and the players act like they're in the past, during the challenges or just after a significant event. Since TD and Amazing Race episodes are 80 to 90% challenges, having confessionals is needed to keep things varied and not just a challenge with a few confessionals at the beginning and ends of episodes. I can only assume that it's the same for animated reality shows.
I liked the stepbrothers and rockets but my favorite was the father and son, I thought they had some really funny moments. Also I hated Taylor she was just so unlikable it just got old for me

The Cadets were hilarious and the Goths were my favorite, lol. I wish they won too, just to see what their incredibly unemotional reaction would be.
Fun fact: The Police Cadets team is a Parody of the movie The Heat just look at the charters names in that movie and how they act, theres no denying it!

Probably my biggest problems with the show are...well actually, they're interconnected problems. Firstly, I think the elimination order is a bit counter-intuitive. The Geniuses were pretty dull, and although I can see where a lot of humor _could_ arise from them, I would've preferred if they were eliminated second, giving the tennis rivals, which I thought were one of the funniest teams that left too early to fully showcase their comedic potential, at least one more episode of screen-time. The stepbrothers also lasted longer than I reckon they should've. Their character arc could've been completed several episodes earlier. It's a pretty simple and foreseeable character arc. Lastly...Geoff and Brody being finalists? I don't mind nearly as much as some other fans, but I still question it. Secondly, I reckon the show could've benefited from having 1 or 2 less teams. There were so many characters that many of the more interesting ones felt painfully underutilized. I wouldn't mind much if the Geniuses and Best Friends weren't on the show. The Geniuses don't have much value to them, and they don't seem like they have much potential (and they're just Scarlett but without the psychopath aspect), and the Best Friends have a really predictable conclusion - they fall in love. Yet, their plotline lasted so long and it kind-of bloated the show. The journey between them being best friends and becoming lovers wasn't notably unique either, nor particularly interesting, so meh. Plus, Devin just feels like Trent again. Some may argue that Leonard and Tammy shouldn't have been on the show, but they serve their purpose - elimination fodder so that interesting teams have more time to develop. The tennis rivals do not feel suited to only lasting 3 episodes - they have too much comedic potential. I guess I wouldn't really mind either if the mother and daughter didn't exist, but no other team has the mother/daughter dynamic, so I'd keep them over the two I just mentioned. If there were to be a second season, that's when I'd introduce the Geniuses and Best Friends, because by that point it would be more difficult to think of more interesting teams that haven't already been done. The point is, 36 characters in 26 episodes just feels like too many. Either way, The Ridonculous Race is really enjoyable.

The relationships are good, the suspense is fantastic, the characters are both well written and designed, and overall, hilarious!
Ridonculous Race was the last time Total Drama was good. Having 2 1/2 seasons of Total Drama Babies, I mean Total Dramarama, makes me wonder if they're running outta ideas.

CFs are actually done at the end of challenges like in big brother / survivor. they talk about what happened after a challenge ends but in the perspective they were in at the time. Hope this clears things up about that rant.
I HATED TDA because of the stupid reasons people would get eliminated! Also, Gwen broke up with Trent! NOOOOO! Total Drama World Tour was ok, but I would've liked it more with only 2 teams instead of 3. TDROTI was my favorite season, and All Stars was good too, but TDPI deserves the hate it got. I liked it, but not much. In TDPI, the creators focused more on challenges rather than characters. And some of those lazy characters were really awful! Sky was a Zoey Rip Off, Sugar was a Heather and Owen fusion, Snow White was on the show, Rodney had a very small character personality (He falls in love with every girl he sees. That's it), Samey and Amy would've been better if they both lasted longer, and Leonard...Oh my stars that was idiotic! Dave was also pretty bad because of how CRINGY his lines were. Shawn, Scarlett, and Jasmine were cool. Anyway...TDRR was AMAZING!!!!!! My fave team was the Adversity Twins, so the reason they got eliminated made me hate the Sisters.

in real reality shows confessionals are usually filmed after the episode or after the challenge! Total Drama season 1 handled this pretty well with having certain characters be injured during their confessional before we see the injury happen, to imply that it was filmed afterwards... so that's why they have time to do these despite being in a race, because the ones with a map in the background is supposed to be taken afterwards! the show doesn't always handle this properly but at some point you just learn to ignore that because they're fun to watch so as heather puts it... what ever!

I can understand why u would like the police team the most but honestly they weren't that good even though they were second the only reason they were was because of MacArthur the Goths were my favorite because they didn't care about anything and made it far and the bunny Loki helped them I mean it was a bunny

The two traveling seasons were the best ever. Hopefully they can make another ridonculous race season. Or maybe do something like Total Drama Cruise
CFs are actually done at the end of challenges like in big brother / survivor. they talk about what happened after a challenge ends but in the perspective they were in at the time. Hope this clears things up about that rant.
I HATED TDA because of the stupid reasons people would get eliminated! Also, Gwen broke up with Trent! NOOOOO! Total Drama World Tour was ok, but I would've liked it more with only 2 teams instead of 3. TDROTI was my favorite season, and All Stars was good too, but TDPI deserves the hate it got. I liked it, but not much. In TDPI, the creators focused more on challenges rather than characters. And some of those lazy characters were really awful! Sky was a Zoey Rip Off, Sugar was a Heather and Owen fusion, Snow White was on the show, Rodney had a very small character personality (He falls in love with every girl he sees. That's it), Samey and Amy would've been better if they both lasted longer, and Leonard...Oh my stars that was idiotic! Dave was also pretty bad because of how CRINGY his lines were. Shawn, Scarlett, and Jasmine were cool. Anyway...TDRR was AMAZING!!!!!! My fave team was the Adversity Twins, so the reason they got eliminated made me hate the Sisters.

I liked the ice dancers the best cuz I ice dance
in real reality shows confessionals are usually filmed after the episode or after the challenge! Total Drama season 1 handled this pretty well with having certain characters be injured during their confessional before we see the injury happen, to imply that it was filmed afterwards... so that's why they have time to do these despite being in a race, because the ones with a map in the background is supposed to be taken afterwards! the show doesn't always handle this properly but at some point you just learn to ignore that because they're fun to watch so as heather puts it... what ever!
