The smell of smoke could be eliminated with the correct deep cleaning and use of isopropyl alcohol, however it's clear this has had the quickest and cheapest clean and considering how much they charge it's simpley unacceptable.
Vaporized nicotine does not stick to walls or inside of objects. You could blow a fat hit of the biggest vape over and over through a fan and you wouldn't be able to tell after either by smell or by residue CIGARETTE SMOKE AND VAPOR IS VERY DIFFERENT.

I am not a fan of GameStop by any means but i am assuming that they would refurbish it right when they get it, close it up and throw it in the warehouse. Based on the update firmware, it seems that this console was refurbished around a year ago. The question is, is a year of storage really going to gather that much dust in a cleaned console?
If you know how to refurbish, I’d love to see a video of you buying something from DKO or whomever and opening up and actually doing what they were supposed to

I had an 80GB ps3 that I got from Gamestop pre owned or refurbished, I don't remember, back in 2010 and it ran fine, at times it ran for days straight because I was forgetting to turn it off. It would still work to this day but I accidentally broke it trying to remove the heat spreaders to give it better thermal help. 😭
Smoker smell is so hard to get out in my opinion. I had an old car that was a smokers car and good lord. It started finally going away after i steam cleaned the seats, use a specific extractor vacuum on the carpets, DEEP CLEANING THE CAR VENTS, and then after all of that I threw a scent bomb in there and let the bomb marinate in the car overnight So in terms of a console, even if they did clean it I feel like youd have a hard time getting everything out. It just sticks everywhere and motherboard components seem to fragile to really clean it like id want to...just my personal opinion to anyone who has dealt with cleaning smokers vehicles/consoles/objects/etc. 😁
I can explain why its refurbished, when it was taken in as trade the controller may have been defective sp they replaced it and labeled it as refurbished
I have a pro, and on the back where you said you think there should be a screw, I would guess yes as as far as I can see on mine, there is a plain black either sticker or plastic cover. There is also a sticker over the screw between the optical and usb, so yeah, I am guessing this has been opened at some poin.

“no bubble wrap”. Dude, the top of the console was on bubble wrap. It’s Sony’s fault for making glossy consoles.
The whole point of bubble wrap is to use it to wrap stuff 😂😂
@@jrob0021 but he does have a point I doubt the scathes came from inside the box it was sitting on the thick bubble wrap too not the thin crap
I really enjoy ur videos. Keep up the good work
Haha I just started using the digital out port on my PS3 yesterday. what a coincidence!
It started finally going away after i steam cleaned the seats, use a specific extractor vacuum on the carpets, DEEP CLEANING THE CAR VENTS, and then after all of that I threw a scent bomb in there and let the bomb marinate in the car overnight
So in terms of a console, even if they did clean it I feel like youd have a hard time getting everything out. It just sticks everywhere and motherboard components seem to fragile to really clean it like id want to...just my personal opinion to anyone who has dealt with cleaning smokers vehicles/consoles/objects/etc. 😁
Jacobs camera definitely works for DKOldies. Barely showing dusts
The Spider-Man controller has white buttons and sticks
Original spiderman control has an off hite buttons and sticks
I can explain why its refurbished, when it was taken in as trade the controller may have been defective sp they replaced it and labeled it as refurbished
Are you sure that's a refurbished one? In the condition section of the web page you put up it says pre-owned, not refurbished.
How long it take for it to arrive
I'm only here for Spooder-Man.
DK Oldies need to take note that this is nearly refurbished.
You say there was no bubble wrap. Wasn't the glossy side of the ps4 sitting on bubble wrap?
It's not the controller that comes with the bundle
what update version was it on?
Good Ole Milwaukee fastback... I love that knife.
Your videos always drop during my lunch breaks! 😂 you never know what to expect after that DK Oldies PS3. Lol.
no missing screw, wrong controller. spiderman one has white buttons
I have a pro, and on the back where you said you think there should be a screw, I would guess yes as as far as I can see on mine, there is a plain black either sticker or plastic cover. There is also a sticker over the screw between the optical and usb, so yeah, I am guessing this has been opened at some poin.
My PS4 controller looked like that after alot of use. Appears normal. I'd be interested to see a DKOldies Spiderman PS4 Pro
While GameStop may or may not have removed and sold Spiderman controller separately, DKoldies would _definitely_ have sold it separately and given you a non-matching third-party one.
the spiderman controller has white buttons
Great video. I owned this console but traded it in late last year
