I always appreciated how Hinata went about this. She respected her opponent & only charged in to free Naruto from the rods. No matter how emotional she may have been, she never let it supercede her intelligence. She didn't think because she was emotionally charged that it made her any stronger

It occurred to me that if the villains were really serious about making their kills count so many more characters would have been dead. Pain could have gone for the headshot. There's no way she could have been healed from that.
She would come back to life with the rinne rebirth tho so for this one it doesnt count
@@darksora8046 Hm...this is true. I think that power was a little too convenient. Like, I understand if he could undo the deaths caused directly by his abilities - Human path pulling spirits from bodies, or Naraka path's demon head eating souls. But to let everyone come back, even if they died from physical trauma (or in Kakashi's case, their own choices) was the village getting off scot free in terms of human cost. My point is, there needs to be consequence. Hinata oughta be dead dead. XD

He did stab her in the manga near the head like by the ear/neck spot and sakura could of healed her i guess but then due to backlash he showed her alive and awake not just breathing the next week before sakura even got to her so meh bad writing retcons...that week the sales of naruto merch took a big hit I remember cause of fan outrage and kishi got so many letters about her supposed death..his plan was to just rinne rebirth her back like kakashi in like 10 chapters but fans had no clue he could do that so we freaked out wanting justice cause this was not db...people stayed dead...he may have just waited a few weeks then have sakura heal her in time but the sudden anger was affecting sales so bad he had to just show hinata alive before stalling cutting away from her and not back and then later a couple chapters later having sakura off screen get to her and show her heal her after naruto finishes pain off like he may have wanted to do for tension but instead he just showed his hand early by having her breath despite being stabbed in the head as kishi envisioned when he wrote the screen despite us not seeing it that's what naruto saw which explains his anger to give up his life for revenge cause he thinks she died and its guilt his own fault
