Finally this is the video that I was looking for to start practicing scratch. But I don't know what video should I practice next... :) Is there any order that I should practice scratch? All the best from El Salvador, Central America! Amazing job LiftOFF!! F
Much appreciated man 🙌🏾🙌🏾 My goal is to organize all of my videos by the end of January so please look out for some new playlists in a few weeks that will have everything in order.
Broski! This video is magic. Whilst technically I can do those scratches mixing it up into a drill like this is brilliant. Also that 8 bar loop for drop practicing is also a great tip. This has really made me appreciate fader less scratching and sound dope just focusing on moving the record in different ways mixing it up. What makes this video different for me is that this is a drill that really beginners should do before every session. Also to keep balanced I would do 8 bars with left hand, then 8 bars with right on the same deck. As these are all faderless it works! Thanks again bruv
I 100% agree with something like this being a warm up for practicing! And Mann, faderless scratching is definitely something I still work on to this day. Tough, but dope! You’re welcome bro! 🙏🏾
What's Good Big Boss Dj lift OFF! Damm another banging awesome Dj tutorial video thank you again I'm really really learning and getting better at my scratching with your Awesome Help, God Bless 🙏 and Thank You again much Love 🙏 and Respect 🤙👍🎧🎤🎚️🎛️
Of course bro! My stiffen up as well, and I just focus on being as relaxed as possible. As we scratch faster, I feel like our body automatically tenses up a bit but focusing on stay light on the platter and just using the least amount of pressure helps. Takes mental focus for sure.
train both hand movement individually and slow at first. You need to get to the point where both hands can effortlessly do different movement and timings at the same time. The first move to get this down is the fade in baby scratch. Dont bother doing more advanced stuff, as long as that move doesnt come easy, you will train in bad habits.
Hey djliftoff can we still talk to each other by email and you just send me the files and format yes want them in you want me to edit no money involved because I’m not trying to get sued by the artist for selling there music and are you a police officer please don’t lie to me

Thank you for this video! Bro I been practicing at scratching faster but my arm seems to stiffen up, any advice or routines to loosen up?
Same bro , I started using my wrist more when I'm tryna double time
Very smart to do. I do the same!

Great instructional skilllzzzz
🙏🏾🙏🏾 thank you man. Keeps me going!
Will do brahda!!!
Were are your setting suppose to be on DJM S -11
Pattern 2 is slow+fast+scribble ?
The hardest part for me is scratching while using the crossfader
Yea, introducing the cross fader was super tough for me in the beginner too! Takes a while to get the movements down. Always practice slowly first!
Great video
I hope you make more

I have a DDJ400, what are the settings to get these sounds
Settings should be the exact same with the DDJ400 I believe. What exactly are you trying to change?
I'm trying to get my latency , curve and others settings correct for scratching. Mine sounds nothing like this
Yo who made that hold on wait?
My boy! GTB Tonio, he has some other tracks and videos as well. Def check him out when you get a chance!
my problem is learning the crossfader together while doing the scratching all together
It definitely feels uncomfortable and unnatural in the beginning, but you’ll get it down with time.
