      Two questions for Nina:
      1) Now that she's been on a bike for the "first time," how soon until she gets her own?
      2) What did Burch have to do/say to get a girl he just met to jump on the back of his bike 2 days later? :)

    When I ride with a passenger on my Rebel 1100 I use custom mode and use the same settings as standard but turn the engine braking way down, it helps a lot with the low power throttle twitchiness. (DCT of course :P). After 30-40 mins my rider also does not like the seat and it made her legs fall asleep so she had trouble dismounting.

    I had the Rebel 500 and had my daughter as passenger once. She complained a lot about the comfort. After my wife said, she would like to come with me sometimes as a passenger, I knew it was time for a new bike, even though I just had the Rebel for 9 month only. I guessed the Rebel 1100 would not be a lot better than the 500 and so I search for a nice looking bike with a comfy seat and found the new Moto Guzzi V7 Stone. Not only does it look great, it feels great and has a comfy seat, where I can sit on the whole day. Did not have a passenger ride so long (I only have it for a week now), but I am pretty sure, it is very comfy for the passenger too.

Never could get one, because did not have the money for a car and a motorcycle in those days. Now I finally got my Guzzi. The new V7 is such a wonderful bike. I have compared the rebel to a sportster and I'm afraid if I get the 500, it won't be enough bike for me. Kinda leaning towards the 1100. Is there more accessories for the 1100 than the 500? Get a few 1000 miles on your bike. By then you will have your basic skills down and know your bike pretty intimately. Take it slow at first, because having so much additional weight will make it feel drastically different at slow speed. Once you get up to speed it will feel much more normal, until you brake...your stopping distance will be longer due to the extra weight. But don't pull a Burch, daisy dukes and converse sneakers are not good for riding with a noobie about take out his first passenger, get her a helmet and make her wear jeans and some kind of jacket (preferably leather).

For reference, My Bolt's throttle has 10 minutes of twist, from idle to wide open ....and it is twitchy, like a high-strung race horse. ....Stay Safe.

    Hey Burch, when it comes to a new Motorcycle do you recommend Financing , Leasing or just paying cash.

    • @LifeOfBurch
      @LifeOfBurch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Depends on your finances! I bought mine cash, but sometimes financing makes more sense depending on interest rate and potential financing deals. Either way, never spend outside of your means. I typically never even buy new because I like to let the original owner eat all the depreciation and then I look for a good deal. Every bike I’ve bought, aside from the 1100, has been used and has been a good enough deal that I’ve made money on it after riding it and selling it later. Just gotta be patient and ready for the deals when they pop up.

    바이든을 날리면으로 말한 사람도 당선 됐는데... 국민이 아직 정신을 못차린 것 같네요

    I noticed that you said “she” a lot. Hopefully, when you met two days prior to going riding together you made sure to confirm Nina’s preferred gender pronouns 😜. Love the regular content and that you are trying to make TH-cam content creation and other social media a full time career. Many of us never chase our dreams with that much fervor and end up staying in the 9-5 life forever. Don’t forget to post as often as you can in our Rebel 1100 World FB Group… you certainly have a lot of fans in that group of Rebel owners. My girlfriend just bought the red Rebel 1100 DCT a few weeks back. Maybe 🤔 you and Nina will be the next Rebel Couple to both own the same bike 🏍 😁

      Hahah damn I totally forgot to verify the pronouns! I think they’re now changed to bike/her…get it…like biker? 😂😂😂 Anyway, thanks for the kind words as always man! I definitely try to post in the 1100 group as much as possible. Even when I’m not posting, I’m on my admin grind approving members and booting out spam lol

      If a person isn't a she they definitely aren't getting on the motorcycle with me...

    What are you doing letting her jump on your bike instead of....... 🤔 Don't wait too long or your wrist pain will persist. 🤣
