If you've been watching Alex long enough, you'll see his one-time style recommendations turn into new warnings in a year or so. I remember when he thought baggy styles just looked sloppy and a bit lazy. Now the style is back on top.

I don't choose the trends, I'm just here to tell you what they are. If you're new to fashion, you should understand that trends come and go, and they do that pretty quickly nowadays
For years these guys sold the idea that fit and tailoring was everything, suddenly they advise you to wear what they used to say is bad fit: baggy and oversized clothes! Baggy clothes are just a trend, an horrible trend that doesn't flatter anyone: if you're fat you will look fatter, if you're short you'll look shorter, if you have gym gains you'll hide them, if you 're skinny you'll look like a tool! Slim fits were, are and will always be the most aesthetic no matter what you 're body type is...
I’ll never wear skinny jeans, never have. Doesn’t mean I wear baggy either, I stay true to my straight fit jeans.

I think it comes to personal style, we don’t need “influencers” telling people what to wear and not. I agree with most things you said but I can’t stand baggy pants, looks so daggy. I still wear my skinny / slim jeans and chinos and still look classy. Wear want you want people that makes you comfortable.

I agree with both comments above, it's a different between skinny jeans and slim fit jeans, I wear slim fit, skinny jeans I never was a fan of it, specially if you are over 40, but I the each person need to pick your style. And I forgot, for example Alex in the video wear all the shirts living the two top bottoms open, that for me is 👎 specially for dress shirts, I understand some shirts and depends where you where it.

Well said. These "influencers" would say a whole bunch of nonsense just to milk their sponsors. The blue shirt he was wearing in the video didn't fit him well even though he said it did. I wear t-shirts based on the fit and coincidentally those t shirts have the brand logo on them. Also, I don't care if the quiff is out of style, it suits my face well

I feel that slim fit jeans are pretty good replacement for skinny jeans. It’s not too tight nor too baggy. A good choice for something in between.
True, but I match with shoes. Slim jeans match good with Chelsea boots/ sneakers. And I wear Sneakers with my skinny jeans
There's a fine line between regular skinny fit and super skinny fit. Super skinny fit should be avoided at all costs because those look like leggings on any body type. Regular skinny fit is fine if you have the body type for it. I wear skinny jeans, but buy them with stretchy material so they aren't so restrictive and uncomfortable for my legs. So in my book, skinny jeans are still acceptable as long as they're not super skinny and you have the body type to rock them.
When you don’t follow trends is where the timelessness comes in. Do what ever you like how ever you want originality is timelessness.
The Sauvage Dior advice triggered me, as all compliments I have ever received about how I smell were from that perfume, and I have worn many, many perfumes, even 200$ ones. It's just a really good perfume. I have never in my life received a compliment from any other perfume, and it was the only were women asked if they could smell it better by getting close to me. Maybe it's just because I live in Italy.
The message is more about smelling like everyone else as oppose to Sauvage it self. He literally said it smelled good.
It depends on where you are located, in areas or countries where cologne is a big part of men hygiene.....ppl will recognize the smell of sauvage. In my area, men rarely even wear deodarant...let alone cologne. So the scent is still relatively unknown.
I live in hungary. No one knows the parfume, i wear the elixir, and everyone loves it. Except for those classmates of mine that just straight up hate me, and think that i would change because of their opinions lmao

Skinny jeans were popular well before 2016-2019, they were fashionable back when I was in high school (I’m 30 now).
Dior Sauvage is common for a reason - it’s mass appealing. I don’t wear it but I really enjoy it when with someone who does. It’s also a much complimented fragrance, I’ve heard lots of women comment on how good it is.
I think soccer jerseys can be styled well. Depends on the club/country and design but a nice one can look great.
Here in Brazil most of the guys wear some cheap brazilian brands colognes so my Sauvage always stands out in the crowd and I’ll continue to wear it ‘cause it smells amazing.

Also with skinny jeans I think it was a first for a lot of dudes to obtaining something “tailored” even if that meant it fitting something too small/tight.
I haven't worn skinny jeans at any time in my life tbh. It doesn't look good and more importantly to me: It's not comfortable. That's the reason why I don't really follow trends. They go in and out of style, and to me, most of the trends aren't worth the money. I prefer timeless pieces that I can wear as long as possible. Those shoes, btw. Hehehe. I didn't even knew they exist. Who wears that? 🙈

Here in Serbia where I live, most men don't even wear a fragrance... so wearing Dior Sauvage is not a cliche and since it's an amazing scent, I will keep wearing it!
I prefer the Eau de Toilette version of Sauvage, for me it works best in the summer nights. It's just simply brilliant!!!

Skinny jeans are amazing if you get the cheap ones that actually, are a bit baggy. Those I find, fit better, and look better, hence are better, than high quality $100 tapered/ tailored fit branded jeans. They’re a bit skinnier than tailored/ tapered fits which I find slightly too baggy, but not as skinny as expensive, true, branded skinny jeans that are like around $100

I love mixing that Dior with a woodsy Hermes I have for a perfect balance of something light, with something that has a bit more weight in it.

I’ve never owned a designer belt but I have to dissagree on that one, the buckle (at least in my eyes) is the center of attention for a belt and many designer belts look a lot better then the average day today belt which almost all have the same boring buckle design
Exactly! Everything else I agree with but I personally don't see designer belts being a problem and yes designer belts do make the fit look a lot better than a regular belt you can get from Old Navy. I like LV belts myself but I'm not one to wear it every single day like a non designer belt. I'll wear it only on special occasions. Yes, you have designer belts that do too much like those big belts with the stones in it that look like it's straight from WWE. I'm talking more about designer belts that keep it simple and classy which is why I like LV belts.

Nah sports jerseys are easy to pull off. Basketball and baseball are easier than football and sizing can be an issue ( a jersey that’s too big looks horrible) but they are really simple to pull off and look fashionable at least for me as everyone’s different. Fashion is 50% style and 50% swag.
