I really love the Primo. It goes on in under 2 mins and is super comfy. Didn’t think it was nearly as compressive as the carbon Core but definitely more than the Glide. Wore it for a 200 free, 400 IM and 50 fly to test a range of distances and strokes. Personally it was too compressive for the 400 IM and there wasn’t quite enough snap for the 50… Definitely the number 1 choice for a 100/200.
I got the valor 2.0 and it just feels faster than the original valor. The inside is a little rough compared to the arena primo but I’ve never swam slow in it
Personally I have the new Mizuno Sonic 6 CR, and it is honestly my favorite tech suit ever, not too much compression, easier to get on than the other Mizunos, mobility is out of this world. I just wish it had more dual layering and taping on the back on the legs. I will have to try out the Arena Primo!
Arena tech suits are garbage. $300 suit lasted three meets before drawstring ripped out. Arena denied warranty claim because it had been more than 60 days since purchased. Will never buy Arena.
Hey Sonny I was considering this suit. I currently do better at 100, 200, 400 free but I also do the 800 and 1500 I use the air2 size 26 because I don’t like this compression that much. Should I give this suit a try? And do I get the size 26 or 28 for less compression?
so you really think this is like THE SUIT to buy? at a recent meet I saw so many people wearing the speedo one with like the tips colors at the bottom and I thought it looked good and if so many people got it, including someone who went a pool record at a d1 power 5 school during a sectionals meet who was still in high school then it had to be good. Personally I haven't experimented with Mizuno very much, and from how you said it in the video, that seems to be the main competition on the market right now. Also I am a breastroker and that is really the only thing I care about when I suit up, so basically as it stands currently, you would recommend this over everything except on par with some lines of the mizuno?
Just want to make sure everyone is reading this review the same way I am... for someone swimming multiple 50s/100s free/fly over a 4 day meet, the Primo would be a better pick than the Mizuno GX6 NV?
I love the primo, it is amazing. I found that to get a good fit, you need to pull up the inside as well as the outside to make sure that the waist stays where you want it to. I can’t get enough of this suit.
If i use a arena carbon flex size 22 but he's 2 years old should I buy the size 24 or the size 22? Knowing that I'm getting taller very fast and it's easy to put the 22.
i feel like i havent heard many people talk about breaststroke in this suit, im not too experienced with tech suits but i got this and dropped two seconds on my 100 breast if that says anything. feels amazing in every way
I also had a similar experience with the NV where I dropped a second and a half and I definitely could have sized down lol. Not sure which suits are the best for breaststroke out of all the new ones that have come out, but I’m guessing the Primo, NV, and CR are all better than the rest. Haven’t heard any opinions on the CR tho since I don’t know anybody with one.
Just got the primo and swam in it at a meet over the weekend. Im a skinnier and taller guy, so the waist wouldnt go that high for me. But i definitely think this smokes the Carbon Core in every way, which i peviously wore. I think personally it is really compressive and during my 2 free i definitely started to feel it. However, that extra bit of snap on the the walls definitely makes up for it. However, I much more of a butterflier (100 and 200), and I plan to wear it for those events this upcoming weekend, so if anyone wants to know how it feels in more stroke events just lmk
Love it! Used a gx sonic v st at a meet and then a primo 2 weeks later and it was miles better for me (dropped in all of my events). If I had to pick one thing I didn’t like (and I really like this suit) is I feel like I have to fight to keep my hips up during backstroke. I always feel like the high-hip-float tech of any suit caters to the other strokes….could be just me though😅
One more Q - I really like buoyancy and having a suit that that fits pretty snug. I also like suits that kind of have a thicker material, something that I liked on previous mizuno generations but lacked on the CR this year because of the single layer suit, but I’ve had the carbon glide and felt that it was super thin and it didn’t have much surface area (didn’t cover much of my leg) so I don’t know if that’s true for all arena suits like this. What are your thoughts on this with the primo and do you think this suit would be a good fit for me?

May I know how many times u wore it till it loses it's texture & flexibility?
When’s the speedo 2.0 review 😁
Yeah 😅
Pure intent 2.0 is ass, valour is meh but much better suits out there keep your money for sure

Primo son dropped .26 on 50 free with primo vs speedo intent, also dropped on 100 fly and 100 free. Suit glides on the water hips up very good suit.

How does it hold up over longer periods of time, is it a good idea to wear it for the entire meet or will it lose the compression quickly
Very impressed by the durability of this suit

I agree on the CR and what your saying you want is the Primo
@@TheSwimsuitGuy when is the CR review coming👀
Did you manage to try out the Primo? Would love to hear how it matches up against the CR.
I thought you were releasing a tier list video today
Nope. I’ve filmed a few reviews and also me racing a 25 in every suit

womp womp
Do you think the size chart arena provides on the site is a good indication of the size i need?
Yes
Glide is the goat
Should I get the TYR Venzo high waisted or the primo for sprint freestyle?
go mizuno gx-6 noble valor
will you review the pure intent 2.0?
Yes
Hey! Thanks so much for the review, what would you prefer - this arena primo or the mizuno CR?
Really tough, personally Primo but if you like a bit more freedom then CR
Can you make a review of the arena powerskin st?

hello size 28 fits you best can i pls know what your hight and weight is? :)

Why say buoyancy, the material, does not have buoyancy, but it does trap air..when it tight / compression is the value in suits.
Which would be better for a 100/200 fly and 100/200/400 free in your opinion? The Primo or Mizuno GX Sonic VI CR?
Thanks for the great reviews!
CR probably, both are awesome
If your 100s are your better races Primo
Aside from the price, do you think there is any reason to get a suit other than the promo (except for the NV like you mentioned)?
Primo - All Rounder
Mizuno Cr - Also all rounder
NV - Pure Sprint
Valor 1.0 - Comfy value
Just bought the primo cant wait to race in it😁

How do you look after your suit after use?
Pretty simple, rinse and dry flat

For the 50,100,200 free and 50 fly and breaststroke what suit should I get?
Arena Primo or Mizuno 6 CR

mizuno 5 MR or 6 CR

Too expensive
Looking to qualify for Junior Nationals in the 100yrd back this year. What suit would you recommend between primo, gx-sonic NV and CR?

I wear a 32 in my old Arena Air2 and it is a little bit too big. What size would you or anybody else recommend for the primo? Thx
As a main Breastroker/IMer should i go for this suit or a mizuno?
This would be great,
@TheSwimsuitGuy for breaststroke/IMers compared to pure Intent 2.0? 2.0 gave me serious edge in the fly/free.. ur opinion?
May i know how much it sold in UK and USA? is selling RM2000+ in Malaysia.
Do you know when they launch the green colour?
Dude it was launched from the start
Hi sonny, i wear a size 23 in speedo and according to the arena size guide i wear a size 26, what size would you recommned for me for the primo?

hey! i was wondering if this suit would be recommended for a distance freestyle swimming starting 200free all the way to 1500?
💯
It's expensive , but at least you can order it if you want to unlike the NV which is impossible to get hold of at the moment
Which arena tech suit do you recomend for 1500 freestyle?
what about 100. nv or primo
Primo
Do you swim for Plymouth, I recognise the pool
I live their, dont swim for them
If my main arena racing suit is 24, should i pick primo at 22 or 24 or 26?
Which do you currently have… 24 probably or 26
The best suits where the supersuits from 2009.
Yes. But irrelevant.
Which is better for the 200. Mizuno CR or Arena PRIMO?
Not that simple
@@TheSwimsuitGuy How so?
Hey Sonny, I strictly swim the 50 and 100 free. What tech suit would have most bang for buck with a budget from $200-$350.
NV
Great review!!
Glad you enjoyed it
stellar review, thanks for the insight!
NV or Primo for 100m free?
I want a tech suit to swim the 50, 100 and 200 meters breaststroke (mostly the 50) which suit should I buy.

fatigue and forearm pump from putting on the suit is so real
Not the primo
Great review as always.

.26 time drop 50 freestyle first primo use. This time drop is versus Speedo intent

Why is compression good for suits?
Promotes blood flow therefore oxygenating muscles
Arena sucks
