Because they jump into bushes off buildings and live out the worst stereotypes of a nation? Crazy smfh

I got on a bus from my hometown of Jacksonville Florida to central Ohio where I only knew one person, which was a cousin I hadn’t seen in 20 years. I have been clean since that day. I was able to do it cold turkey. 3 months later I met my now wife. 2 years and 5 days after moving here, we bought our first house. @@VegasKlNGz here in a bit, I will try to find the time to fill in more of the blanks. But to answer your question. I honestly didn’t care, but the last 3 years, the preferred was heroin. Kids will never know the magnitude of the Jersey shore … everyyyyyone was watching Thursday nights on MTV … it’s prob one of the last culture moving shows to be on cable
When i clicked on this video, i immediately recalled Steve O saying that Mike snubbed him at an awards show. Steve O said in the first few seconds this was going to be about accountability and i thought "It aint real unless they address the awards show" And IMMEDIATELY it was addressed. It just adds another level of respect for Steve O, Mike, their sobriety and dedication to being accountable! Much respect!!!
I got offered to be in Real World MTV when I was partying in Santa Barbara and freaked out because I was worried about how that would haunt me. Had no idea at the time that could potentially turn into millions
I met Mike as a courier in NYC he was deep into Herion after the Roxy's dried up. He spend 650$ on china white And 350$ on some fishscale coke. Tipped me 150$ for the quality and my services. Good guy! Glad he changed his ways.

I always wanted to see this , thanks for making it happen finally !! As someone currently starting the process of overcoming addiction I really admire you two. Thank you again
@kingjoseph5901 it was definitely a whole generation of kids. My generation. 90s and early 2000s was nothing to do but drugs tbh. For me it was cocaine and alcohol and then needed something to help me go to sleep later. So everything.
I had to stop at 11:20 just from my own PTSD of oxy and Dilaudid abuse. 14 years sober- I get sick even when watching scenes in movies now and refuse all pain meds, my surgeon thought I was crazy after breaking my leg and not taking anything.
I used to watch Jersey Shore growing up. I liked it, it was extra and entertaining. Mike was kinda crazy but I still remember that time he was boo’ed at the comedy roast. Felt sorry for the dude.
Things are really strange. I was asking my mom if she’s ever watched the situation completely bomb on the roast of Trump….then this shows up on my TH-cam. My phone listens to everything I say.
What a stellar episode! I’m feeling super proud of 4 dudes that I don’t know in real life. You guys turned it around and your lives are so much better for it. Amazing work! And Mike has some great stories! Xoxo
This is honestly an amazing episode. Not bc I condone drug use, promiscuous sex, crazy behavior, but simply bc hearing Mike come out and talk about all these things honestly and knowing that he unfortunately had to learn a lesson is definitely like sitting down with a doctor and spilling your guts. It’s liberating and truthful at the same time and he’s def not alone with his past struggles. Much respect Mike and best wishes
I was about 13 when jersey shore came out it was one of my favorites at the time! Fist pumping, avoiding grenades at the club, sometimes taking one for the boys. What a time they had
I've been sober for around 10 years give or take, and Mike's transparency and honesty about what he went through, what a lot of people go through dealing with that specific substance and the crazy things that we would do to get it, and to not become sick. I think his total honesty, and trust me he was absolutely a hundred percent honest about everything he said when he was talking about that time period in his life. I lived the same thing, just a different state, but I resonated with literally everything he said. I'm so glad that he listened to that voice and those coincidences, and his loved ones and realized this is serious and I got to get it together or I'm not going to be here. And that's quite the reality check when you get to that point and you realize you are at absolute rock bottom and there's no going up easy again. It's going to be one hell of a ladder to climb, and I'm so proud of him for doing it and for all of the years that he has under his belt of sobriety. It is a badge of honor and he should wear it and be proud of it, I'm proud of him for it! And he has a wonderful wife that has stuck by him and supported him and loved him and went through the ups and downs and never gave up on him because she knew that wasn't him in that time in life. I think she knew there was someone inside that she knew was the real Mike, not the situation, not the famous Jersey shore guy, not the ripped abs guy. I really give him so much credit for making that decision in that moment and throwing it away and flushing it, which I will tell you probably was one of the hardest things even though he knew it was the right thing I bet it was incredibly difficult and he probably regretted it to a certain degree just because that's just how the brain works when you're in active addiction. But I'm so glad that he was strong enough to be able to do it and not go back to it and to get the help he needed immediately. So proud of you Mike!! Stay blessed and keep sharing your story for the younger generation, you save one person or you make a difference in just one person's life, then it was all worth it to help someone else not become the people that the drugs made us into. Much respect, great interview, I've also met Steve-O, he's a wonderful guy and I think this was the perfect person to have this conversation with. Well done gentleman!! Keep up the amazing work that you're doing on yourselves because I know myself it is a daily struggle and a daily choice to live the right way. It just goes to show how strong you really are, that people really are if they want something bad enough. Wishing you just all good things in life, everybody at that table, you're all amazing guys and you've changed Your lives completely and that's amazing and I myself am in awe of people who have that mental strength to work through it and continue to better themselves everyday. And to help better other people's lives. It takes a really special person to do those things so hats off to you gentleman!!👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻💪🏻 And the women that stand behind you as well, they also deserve major credit!!🙌🏻🫶🏻❤️ It takes a special person to weather the kind of storm that we will put our loved ones through when it comes to addiction. So I think that just goes to show what amazing wives and fiance's that you have and how much they truly love you and want the best for your life. ❤🫶🏻👍🏻🙏🏻

Im the same exact way. I was in college when the show came out and would see them out in Seaside all the time. To see where he is now compared to those days, its wild. Good for him
Those early seasons were awesome. They were all train wrecks lol. Now it’s family jersey shore. Who tf wants to watch everyone getting along all happy and shit and not fighting or spiraling? 😂
@@SF_Native i hate watched early seasons when it came out, but rewatched it all over again when I was older during covid and found it fucking hysterical lol. But agree family vacation is boring as hell. Old and happy no thanks
I think i probably thought the same the first few episodes but I quickly liked them and also was addict same exact time but I didn’t know he was also they hid it on tv good I respect him a lot now speaking the truth and not hiding it makes me feel that I’m not alone I’m sober to now
Awesome! Me too
I would’ve never thought this would be such a good interview. Everyone has a story man
Love this conversation. Love the stories, the honesty. I wanted to hear more about his wife, and her journey by his side.
This was such a great episode! I wish that Paramount+ would stream the new JS episodes bc I don't have cable, haha. But it is so great to see Mike doing so well. I love that he is trying to use his platform to make moves to help others, like people struggling with substance abuse disorder. That is so friggin amazing & we need more of that type of energy!
They do it comes out every Thursday. They have the whole Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore family vacation on there
I grew up watching these guys and loved the situation!!! I myself had it bad with drugs and hearing this from you and Steve O makes me know I’ll be ok!!! Ive been sober for 10yrs!!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS
SteveO. This one was absolutely phenomenal bro ❤️
Great interview! So impressed with how much he's grown and improved himself. Wishing him the best.
Lol 😂 that episode when dude headbutts the wall thinking it was drywall but it wass solid concrete ☠️😂☠️😂 walking around with the neck brace
He did that for pain pills because he was withdrawing. If you’ve never been through opiate withdrawal consider yourself lucky, people have dropped cars off jacks onto their arms to get pills.
@@ClipsCrazy__Did he admit that it’s why he did that, to get opiates because he was withdrawing? He talks about that in this episode or did he say that somewhere else?
I never thought I'd say that I love Mike now and I'm so happy for him and how far he has come. Seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 made me absolutely despise him. I got emotional when he talked about starting a rehab and traveling the world to save other people's lives. How can you not cheer this dude on?! Way to go, Sitch.
Im so proud of him and his sobriety. BLESSINGS MIKE..❤🎉. BLESSINGS on your journey with your family too thank you STEVE-O FOR THE PODCAST INTERVIEW ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That time Snooki called sitch popeye 😆 🤣 😂
Moms always call at the craziest times! I swear mothers have esp when their child is up to no good. This was cool I might have to finally go back and check out the show.
His GF called his mom bro. It wasn’t anything supernatural
So happy to see this interview! Two amazing people in sobriety coming together. Read both of their books and I highly recommend!!
Loved this episode. Thank you Mike for sharing your story with us and thank you Steve-O for this episode. Thank you and God bless.
Love that smile when he mentions his 9 years of sobriety 47:52
Great ep
Mike was the first person to sell me Dilaudid 8 mg thank you, Mike
lollllllllllllllllllll
Hahahaua
Mike knew is oxy lollll
Mike was The Situation but now he's The Inspiration!
That’s genius
Mike looks like that yellow angry Bird
this got me😂
This made me snorfuckle!👍
😂
He's out of line but he's right.
@@NinjaVanish247nah. I bet even Mike would appreciate that one. Gotta be ok with laughing at yourself every now and then.
Thanks happy to see all 4 of you guys clean and sober keep grinding
An amazing interview thank you Steve-o and the situation
When is the DICO interview 😢
Yes!!! We need a Dico update stat!
Dico!!!
Congrats to all of you on your successes and sobriety! Love to you all! ❤️❤️❤️
Very good episode! Loved all of it. 6-7 years clean from Blue Birds and H myself. It's nice to hear hi profile people were going through the same💩 I was going through back then. Thanks Steve O
Mike makes me so happy! His book is awesome 😊. Proud to be sober with you guys
Kids will never know the magnitude of the Jersey shore … everyyyyyone was watching Thursday nights on MTV … it’s prob one of the last culture moving shows to be on cable
Great times
It made people hit up the gym lol
Jersey shore was the shit
I was 6 my mom use to watch it all the time 😂😂😂
I just wish I could see the screen they’re looking it. It’s so awkward when they’re just staring basically at you 😂. But great episode!
Prolly my most favorite come back of all time. You deserve it bro! 7 years of sobriety here ❤️
It's cool when the guests facts check out unlike vanilla ice and carrot top😂
I met Mike as a courier in NYC he was deep into Herion after the Roxy's dried up. He spend 650$ on china white And 350$ on some fishscale coke. Tipped me 150$ for the quality and my services. Good guy! Glad he changed his ways.
What is china white and fishscale?
It’s awesome when people are so transparent and genuine. Can’t help but root for someone like that. Good shit Mike
I joke with my gf all the time that aliens came to Earth and took the old situation and replaced it with this good version of himself lol. But in all seriousness, Im glad he turned his life around and seems like a genuine great dude. Keep going Mike!
I always wanted to see this , thanks for making it happen finally !! As someone currently starting the process of overcoming addiction I really admire you two. Thank you again
I didn’t even know Mike had a drug problem. Good stuff for coming out of it dude. Monmouth county represent Situation
I feel like the majority of young people did in the early 2000's into the 2010's
Steve-o keep up the good work we love you brother 😎
I’ve watched Jersey Shore from the beginning, seeing Mike as the man he is now is amazing! I have nothing but respect for him.
Bros a trip
But he definitely has charisma
Can’t help but like & laugh with the dude
He’s genuine
One of the best episodes of the pod… such genuine conversation and everyone had a good time laughing together 👏😂👏
He made a reservation at the restaurant I was working at in Raleigh North Carolina. We were all excited but he never showed up. Bummer.
Off them 80’s
Damn that's a situation
Thanks mike for opening up like this these past what ten years ive seen you change your life it actually makes me very happy thanks brother
Mikes dressed like American History X minus that tidal wave on his head
Met Mike at the Vegas Airport in February. Dude was a legit humble and nice guy!
Fun guest ! Good choice , something different . Would be cool to maybe get someone from the Dudsons or CKY , just so see what they’re up to .
Jarpi please.
Cheers to the 4 sober homies ! Hope anyone struggling with addiction who see this find the help they need!
I used to watch Jersey Shore growing up. I liked it, it was extra and entertaining. Mike was kinda crazy but I still remember that time he was boo’ed at the comedy roast. Felt sorry for the dude.
Was never into Jersey Shore but really enjoyed this podcast. Love hearing comeback stories from addiction. Mad respect to Mike
Been off heroin for 9 years now ... Don't miss the lifestyle
👏
I've been clean for 6 years from coke and heroin, I don't miss it at all.
This is amazing. I’ve never heard Mike open up about how bad things really were. Much respect
Things are really strange. I was asking my mom if she’s ever watched the situation completely bomb on the roast of Trump….then this shows up on my TH-cam. My phone listens to everything I say.
Amazing. Happy for all of you - 27 year old in Northern VA!
Scott would straight up overdose on a oxy 80🤣 no tolerance will be fucked up off 10 mg lmaooo
My thoughts 2.. I know dude would b gone. Just throwing up that's b.s.
He wouldn’t OD but DEFINITELY would vomit for hours. Every time he moved it might as well be to the toilet.
Between throwing up for hours & dying…Sounds like a lot of fun and something to get into after becoming a millionaire
@@1future797people didn’t start with taking whole 80mg oxys
First pill I ever done was a green oc 80 and it made me sick as a dog. I puked for 10 hours and sweated but I didn't over dose.
What a stellar episode! I’m feeling super proud of 4 dudes that I don’t know in real life. You guys turned it around and your lives are so much better for it. Amazing work! And Mike has some great stories! Xoxo
Steve-O asked Tom Segura about his ads last time he was in Austin. Change my mind.
I swear this is Fred Armisen that did this interview as Mike lol
Mike’s honesty and openness is a breath of fresh air. Loved this one!
Steve’s voice is SHOT… holy shit
This is honestly an amazing episode. Not bc I condone drug use, promiscuous sex, crazy behavior, but simply bc hearing Mike come out and talk about all these things honestly and knowing that he unfortunately had to learn a lesson is definitely like sitting down with a doctor and spilling your guts. It’s liberating and truthful at the same time and he’s def not alone with his past struggles. Much respect Mike and best wishes
The days where you could get Roxy’s for 5-10 for a 15 and 10-15 for a 30 were some good times.
These Asshole pay double 4 oxys and are not real this dude is admitting sealing drugs he's F now
I remember 30s for 15 bucks 15s for 7bucks all the way to paying 45 bucks for a 30 glad it clean
I was about 13 when jersey shore came out it was one of my favorites at the time! Fist pumping, avoiding grenades at the club, sometimes taking one for the boys. What a time they had
35lb a week? 🧢
No 35lb of herb and 1-2 ounces of blow and xans and percs 😂😂 you don’t gotta lie to kick it
@@austintheman1123nope! You get on the radar real quick with that because you’re a middle man and lower levels snitch you out fast
Not that wild in those times. Many out there really trapped and were smooth enough to move in silence. Not everyone shits where they eat.
