- Every car you see on the road today has been a piece of art at some point - when it was a design sketch, and when it was a clay sculpture. Even the blandest of the bland were some car designer's pride and joy; that is until the accountants turn them into profitable products.
But sometimes, the art survives.

There are many little differences between the Roadster and Coupe, and they have fixed every issue I complained about before.

@@ibrahimpallikkal5100 it's not the same. That air outlet is much bigger and cuts deeper into the door, adding yet another line across the bottom of the door. Also, the skirt intake sticks out more.
The whole area looks much more interesting and aggressive.

The fiat coupe is truly a work of art car, its so unique and different to anything else about, you see this with the way people stop and look at it, i see this as i own one. From every angle it has beautiful proportioned lines, very rare cars now. Italian cars generally are in a league of their own when it comes to style, the italians just have that magic touch producing timeless designs.
I must say i disagree with a few but again, art is and always will be subjective. I like how he included the LFA for its sound, which is not what i expected but is well deserved
After I heard how Yamaha, the _piano_ company, actually developed different parts of the car specifically to create an acoustic design to make the LFA sound exactly the way they want it, even differentiating between different rev ranges, it definetely deserves a spot.
Yeah, 458 italia has lines that flow and is more beautiful than the LFA
458 has ugly lines around headlights and hood. 360 Modena is more beautiful, even 355 Berlinetta
@@lucky889s9Yeah the headlights around the front are ugly, but look at the side the lines flow from the start till the end, its just beautiful, whereas in the 360 modena, there is a intake which just breaks the flow of the lines like the 488, that's why I think the 458 is better in design, its just my opinion.
@@mithrandhananjayan5709 the intakes are necessary, functional, and blended well. I think it's beautiful shape just under the headlights, rather than 458 gaping whale mouth. It's timeless design. Not even 430 or 458 can match that.

This list is incomplete without the Jaguar E-Type a car that even Enzo Ferrari labeled as the most beautiful car in the world at the time. I would even include the F-Type as a modern take on the classic.

@@lucky889s9 Love some of his designs @ Jaguar, Aston, Nissan and even some of his work at Ford. He definitely brought back the British flare to Jaguar... The F-Type was one of my dream cars since I first saw it in 2014 and with the introduction of the 4 Cylinder I was finally able to afford it!

The fact that an F-type is excluded in favor of a Z4 tells me this list is garbage. There isn't an uglier BMW "Z" car. ANY other BMW "Z" is a better choice, aesthetically.
Nice list! I agree with you many of these. I actually own citroen DS5 and I absolutely adore Z4 e 85. I have also graduated as a vehicle designer and I have said many times that DB9 is the most beautiful car ever made. I would add Peugeot 406 coupe to the list. Just look at it and you will understand.

This list could only consist of Aston Martin, Bentley & McLaren and be completely legitimate. Hats off to you Brits and your breathtaking automobiles.

Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, Mercedes SLS AMG, Jaguar E Type, Toyota 2000GT, Ford GT (2005), Porsche 911 Turbo 964, Aston Martin DB5, and many more I can't think of. Obviously different people find different things attractive, and there's an infinite number of possibilities to a list like this, he's not going to mention every car, but I feel these deserve some recognition as well right?

Agree. The Ferrari 250 GTO easily belongs here, and the Aston DB9 is at least a defensible choice. But the Citroen and BMW Z4 aren’t even average looking. I could easily fill a 7 art cars list with classic Ferraris, Alfas, Lamborghini Countach LP400, Porsche 550A Spyder, 964, 917, etc.
In a way, the Porsche 992 GT3 RS could sort of be a piece of art. Not in the same way as these though. More in an engineering way, seeing all the aero and that monatrous wing. I absolutely love it.

At the beginning of the video I thought you would just dwell about some of the most beautiful cars ever build (which is mostly true), but instead you included different perspectives from which a car can be art. Great take on that idea!

I don't wanna lie but the sound of the LFA actually made me drop a tear. To me, everything about that car is pure perfection.

My favorite cars when it comes to looks are the: BMW 507, Mercedes 300 SL, Jaguar E-Type, Corvette C3, Aston Martin DB5, Porsche 930 Turbo, Aston Martin DB11 and the Touring Disco Volante, Ferrari GTC4 Lusso and finally the Bugatti Chiron.

A lot of 2 door cars, a lot of 1960-1980, and then suddenly 2010-2020. But i cant say i disagree with literally any of your picks 😳
For me, the Aston Martin DB9 is the perfect example of simple, yet gorgeous. Then, comes the Pagani Huayra Roadster. Two gorgeous cars. The DB9 for driving every day, and the Huayra Roadster for just plain showing off!! Oh, well. At least I have my dreams.
Am I the only one who thinks that the original Fisker Karma absolutely deserves to be among the works of automotive art? Well in my opinion it's one of the most drop-dead gorgeous designs of all time.
All of these cars are beautiful though if I had to include just one more, it would be the 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia. That was also a gorgeous car.

I think the Citroen DS5 could have looked better with less chrome, or maybe the chrome doesn't look as good with certain colours. I've seen it in real life and it looks really nice in white and silver, but not so much in darker colour shades. Haven't seen a black one though...
All of those are beautiful but, since you delved in the art deco cars, the 57 chevy, 2 door version, is simply gorgeous. 1 year and done.
That 250 GTO is jaw dropping, it’s the most beautiful car on the list by a long way. The Pagani is different kind of beautiful, the 250 GTO for me over everything.

The C3 Corvette 1968-82 is one of the most beautiful cars ever. And certainly among the most attainable. The underpowerd models of the later years can be had for a sum affordable to the average person. I paid $12,000 for my 1982 coupe in 2003. I had that car for 11 years and never tired of looking at her beautiful lines. This is the poor man’s Art on Wheels and to my eyes as beautiful as any in your video.
My dream is the 69 Convertible. Res body, black interior, white too. Also a small block. I don't have a death wish 😁

Did you know that at Aston Martin, it is specified in the design brief that the underside should also be elegant?
Come on no:
-Audi TT MK1 (First car without outside bumpers and so ahead from its time)
-Volkswagen Beetle (that sold for decades for a reason)
-Bugatti Veyron (Specially Black-Red or Black Blue)
-Wedge cars as Lamborghini Countach or Stratos Concept
-50s-60s American Finn tail cars
-The 911, the perfect shape that just need to be redesign according with the current decade style
-The F1 soul cars (McLaren F1, Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT, Mercedes SLR-McLaren)
-The iconic Volkswagen Golf (specially the C pillar)

a good contender for this list is definitely the spyker c8
especially the newer Aileron
Spyker is so underrated. They have amazing interiors in particular, the interior of a Spyker is miles better than that of a Ferrari or Lamborghini. The Morgan Aeromax coupé is also very stylish, same goes to the Wiesmann
yeeeeee The purpose of this brand, like pagani, was to make art in vehicles but these focused on aviation since that is where their origins are, the problem is that people were not interested in that concept of art, which frankly disappoints, although i'm also disappointed with the powertrain of most Spykers, coming from the R8 which in turn comes from the RS4.
therefore, for the amount of money they asked for their vehicles, it was not widely accepted by the public, unlike Pagani, and even more having alternatives such as an R8 of the moment the 911 turbo, a 430 or a Gallardo of the moment that unfortunately eclipsed this.

Glad to see the BMW Z4 made the list. It’s a gorgeous car. Especially the 2003-2006 model. It’s a car that still looks new even though it’s super old now.

There’s some Jaguars that should be in the top of the list, the Miura and 2 or 3 more Lambos, the 918 is a pretty cool design, Romeo 8c competizione, and the Aston one 77 is one of the coolest.

Jaguar XK (X150 model, from 2006 to 2014).
Pretty much a DB7 or DB9 looks-wise. Just stunningly beautiful. So much so that I bought one. 🙂

One of my relatives have a DB9 or had as I'm not sure what they have now or if they still have it but it was a 2006 DB9 in apple tree green on tan seats

The LFA V10 does sound awesome. Many design cues from the LFA were used in the Lexus IS, IS 500, LC, & RC F.
There has to be some extreme Porsches whipping flat sixes with turbos rounding the Nurburgring track that also sound very gnarly.

I would include the Apollo Intensa Emozione...not just the brutal sound it makes is beautiful, but the design of it is very unique!
If someone showed me a vintage 1930's grand tourer like an Auburn, Hispano-Suiza, Bugatti, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo, etc. and asked me if they were art, I'd say yes before they finished their sentence!
When you are all about art deco and love the way these cars were built; I practically gravitate to these cars!

The Lexus LFA is the only Limited Edition Supercar that gives "very very close punch to punch Orchestra" to the Legendary "2005 Porsche Carrera GT"
in my opinion the alfa romeo disco volante defineatly is a piece of art.

Finally also as my name suggests I like the Jaguar f type there is something about.The supercharged v8 the interior a big oval grill the red and black interior on the type r version and then there is the gr3 version in gran turismo sport sure the interior is made from spare parts it's rear kinda cuts to early and it's lowest reving car for it's class but I still love it.The big chassis mounted wing a supercharged monster v8 making 550bhp the way it sounds a hood that is a piece of art the wide body kit that no words can describe the way it handles buts both the 2 Aston Martin of the same class to shame the long headlights in fact the car is so good to me that I only have 2 problems with it no.1 to short rear end and no.2 the interior not 100%just the fact that it used spare pd parts then there is the r8 and r8 lms...don't get me started on the r8

I fell in love with mercedes-benz slr, it's shape is some kind of masterpiece, it looks so beautiful. And the second is dodge Viper. Chrysler made a car, which looks veeeeeeeery similar to viper's(snake) head, especially 2nd gen, and it looks aggressive, like-"im gonna beat your @ss anyway, and you can't do anything with it". It really did, winning plenty of competitions, and demonstrating respectful 7:01 minutes in nürburgring nordschleife
