- Every Halloween Village needed a Haunted Fountain! Let's create a working pumpkin fountain (like, with REAL water!!) for our display. This is a great accessory to add to your Lemax or Department 56 village displays.

@@KelleyDoesStuff Unfortunately no. My husband just had back surgery and I have also had surgeries. This will be our crafting attempts year. So I’ve been gathering great ideas from you and Carl at Villages by Carl. I think that’s the channel. And few others here and there. You two explain things in my “limited crafting” language. Lol

Once again, enjoyed the video. You are so creative. I know you’re not supposed to look in the fountain (don’t want my gravestone next to that other person), but what if you made the water murky somehow? . Might hide the pump and lights a bit more. Just a random thought. I am no expert so can’t even recommend something. 😂😂. Keep up the awesome creativeness.

I've been meaning to ask you: Do you keep your massive Halloween village up all year? I can't imagine how long it would take you to put up your village on a seasonal time frame.
I don’t! I start putting it up in August and take it down before thanksgiving. I have a big Christmas village that I start putting up the day after thanksgiving and leave it up through February, so there’s only about 5-6 months of the year where I don’t have a village display setup in my house. It does take a very long time to set up and take down (especially take down since that part makes me sad that it’s all over…I really drag my feet.)🖤🧡🖤
@@KelleyDoesStuff I know the feeling. I too put mine up starting in August. This year, I have some adding to do so I hope I get it done on time before October hits. I have to add my witch section since they've come out with all new witch buildings. Plus, I have to add yet another train section since they've come out with so many. Happy building.
