Good work. I had a small club tournament on Douglas on December 7. Best 5 was a little over 9 pounds. Caught all mine in less than 5 feet of water cranking a flat sided crankbait.
The crank bait bite has been on fire. I threw a flat sided KVD 1.5, rock crawler and shad rap all day on this trip but the Jerkbait was all the wanted. I think the cold snap really messed with them.
Lake was clear. I saw three trees in main channel above Dandridge ramp but that was it. I didn’t see any signs of burning. There were probably 3 locations that had a back hoe and bobcat piling up the debris to burn. You can hear them toward the end of the video.
I was too but it looks like they’ll get it cleared up. The lake level is about the lowest I’ve ever seen it and it’s probably to get all the debris stuck on dry ground and give the equipment room to operate.
Great video. Any day spent on Douglas catching fish is a good day!
I couldn’t agree more!

Nice fishing man! Great catches I’ll definitely subscribe
Thank you!
Banks have u ever tried a Strike King Lucky Shad in cold water,if you can find any,may have stopped making them.Silver Tn. Shad is a good choice
I have a couple of them. They work good.
Every big fish was a sad one at one point!
You’re right. Even the sad ones are fun though lol.
How's the condition of the lake? Is people burning the excess brush?

@ Good to hear, I was afraid they be a lot of debris next spring

Looked super fun!! What jerk bait rod you like best? I'd have loved to walk the bank looked for hung up baits😂
I like my Denali. It’s 6’10” and medium action with micro guides. There was a lot of stuff on the bank above where they had the boom across the lake.
Another Good'n 👍
Thank you!
What part of the lake are you on? Above or below Dandridge ramp?
I fished above and below.
