When I was 13 years old, I did not care about Shaving hair at all because I thought I was too young for that. When spring came, I wore a short dress and went to school in it. I was subjected to bullying from two girls who treated themselves as adults, and I was sad when I returned from school. At school, I cried and told my mother that I wanted to shave my body hair, and she agreed, and now I take care of myself a lot, but until now, I think that I should not cry and that no one should influence me by throwing negativity

This is so real and informative. I studied in Saudi in an all girls school till my 10th grade and the girls used to tease me so much for having facial hair. I felt so insecure and embarrassed all the time, so growing up I was always insecure about my facial and body hair and my parents always asked me not to shave cos of the "it will just make your hair grow more" mindset. Then for 11th and 12th, I transferred to India and had to wear a 3/4th skirt as my uniform, obviously I panicked and got the longest pair of socks I could find, still guys in my school used to tease me and ask me to shave my facial hair. As i was staying in a hostel and the girls around me shaved their body hairs, i got influenced and started shaving off my body hairs, little did I know that my hair growth was super fast, so I ended up having to shave every single day. After 11th I got tired of having to shave every single day, and we have limited time to bath too so I couldn't do everything in the time span, so I started shaving once every week and then once every month. I just kept wearing long socks and pulled my skirt a bit more down. Then the lockdown came and I was sooo happy to wear a mask every time I went out. Last year I came across skincare videos, etc and started waxing and shaving my facial hair and of course my boyfriend never once teased or commented about my facial or body hairs and soon I learnt how to embrace every aspect about myself. This video keeps it real and shows how girls are not meant to be hairless and spotless, that we are humans too. Love you❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@mayaelmaher7445 hey, first find out how your hair growth is, if it really fast then my opinion is don't shave, coz i shaved it and i have to keep doing it. A better option is threading, or let it be there. If it's the upper lip and all you can thread it other than that, don't do anything. And maybe you can do laser hair removal. I didn't do it properly when i shaved first so coz of that i got so many pimples and i had to take oral medicines and gels to stop it. Now the acne has stopped but I'm left with the scars. I used to have a clear face with just one pimple at times when i get my periods. 🙃 If you're hair growth is slow then go ahead do it. Just know that you're beautiful the way you are, no matter what. ❣️

This is exactly the method I've been doing for years. Simply it's easy and painless. And up until now I always thought that people were very offended by this and thought it was wrong like "How did you do that, don't do that way because if you do like this your hair will be thicker and longer etc. I am very happy to see this video. I have a ton of hair everywhere as well (I’m a girl). I used to be insecure of all of it, especially my mustache and arm hair. But then I learned to embrace it. I still shave bc I personally love how it looks and it’s satisfying. But I also love that I’m really hairy bc it means I have thick hair on my head, thick eyebrows, and thick, long lashes. The only body hair that I’m really insecure about now is my back hair. I thought I was the only girl with that. This video helped SO much. Thank you!

I'm moving out to another country for higher studies and I was so stressed about what people there are gonna think about my body hairs but actually, on watching you normalize this in the video and knowing that so many women face this issue, made me feel like i'm not alone in this. I stopped shaving 3 years ago, I too have so much thick body hair, when I shave the hair literally starts growing by the next day 😢 about three years ago I was fed up with this cycle and just decided to buy an at home IPL hair removal device from Amazon, that was truly the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life, the best part are the arm pits and down there, I never thought my skin in these areas could be soooo soft and clear and hairless for months, I do retouching every 6 months now. IPL hair removal is a seriously a blessing that I’ll be thankful for forever.
@@lizkavanagh the brand I use is called MLAY, there are more expensive brands but they all work the same. I’ve had it for about 3 years and it still has more than 200.000 pulses remaining. If you want to use it for the bikini area, I highly recommend using ice to numb the skin instead of numbing creams, I’ve used numbing creams for most of my 3 years journey with IPL, they don’t completely numb the skin, just a few months ago I tried ice and was shocked by how painless it made the procedure go to the point I thought the device didn’t work 😂. Just rub a cube of ice on a small area of skin for about 20 seconds then immediately dry the area and use the device, I keep a bowl of ice by my side to use it as I need until I’m done.
@@greeneyelightskin746 I wouldn’t say it’s painful but it stings as you increase the energy, start with low energy then work your way up, it’s totally worth it and you get used to the tingle, for the bikini area use an ice cube to numb the skin then dry then use the device, you’ll be amazed by the results within a few months if you do it consistently, I haven’t needed to shave anywhere in almost 8 months and I had thick black body hair. Hope this helps 🤗

I am Ukrainian, so my skin is pale, but my hair is dark. from about 10y old, the whole thing began to grow actively, and I was terribly shy of body hair (they also grow back with a regular razor the very next day), and I was especially terrified of facial hair 💔 only after +20 years I became calmer and stoped shaving every two days .... I use an epilator, but for the face I will take note for sure! thank you so much for paying attention to the topic that is so popular to be shamed and i really thought i was alone with problems like this 💔
I always felt insecure about my body hair as my old friends always pointed out how hairy I was. And when I made new friends, I did not want them to make me feel the same way so I started shaving. But my new friends were the total opposite and asked me why I was shaving and that it was natural to have body hair. I never shaved after that. People would contantly impose their opinions on you and judge you no matter what you do so whatever you do, do it for yourself. To this day, I'm still grateful for my new friends 🙏🏻

One more hack, this is my FAVORITE razor as well. I’ve been using it for YEARSSS and it is the safest and nicest razor I have ever used. My hack is that you can actually go up and down with the razor. It actually makes it where I don’t have to rinse it out as much because when I go down the hair comes out of the blades onto my skin where I can just rinse it off my skin when I’m done shaving (unless it’s like a really dense hair area then I will occasionally rinse it but still I go up AND down). Try it out! Be gentle if you’re prone to strawberry skin and razor bumps but it is seriously an amazing feature.
I dont touch my legs for for three months from Oct. till Dec and then shave once for new years eve, and then i dont touch them again for three months until my birthday April, and then usually depending on the weather i start shaving regularly halfway June up until Sept. its very specific but i really like it this way and that first clean shave always feels so much more satisfying!

I didn't know girls in Europe shave their arms until I met my husband who is German. We girls from Vietnam only shave the legs and armpits (some don't even shave the legs at all) so in the beginning my husband was like "ah uhm should u consider shaving ur arms?" But I don't want to do that. After a while he got used to it and now it doesn't bother him anymore. 😌

This is exactly the method I've been doing for years. Simply it's easy and painless. And up until now I always thought that people were very offended by this and thought it was wrong like "How did you do that, don't do that way because if you do like this your hair will be thicker and longer etc. I am very happy to see this video. It feels like I am not alone.

I have a ton of hair everywhere as well (I’m a girl). I used to be insecure of all of it, especially my mustache and arm hair. But then I learned to embrace it. I still shave bc I personally love how it looks and it’s satisfying. But I also love that I’m really hairy bc it means I have thick hair on my head, thick eyebrows, and thick, long lashes. The only body hair that I’m really insecure about now is my back hair. I thought I was the only girl with that. This video helped SO much. Thank you!
I also learned to love my body hair bc I like how I can grow it out so if I’m stuck in the wild, it will keep me warm (kinda).

This honestly made me feel so so so much better. I'm moving out to another country for higher studies and I was so stressed about what people there are gonna think about my body hairs but actually, on watching you normalize this in the video and knowing that so many women face this issue, made me feel like i'm not alone in this. I actually wonder how frequently I'm supposed to shave coz I don't wanna damage my skins too😭😭 more power to us girlies, hope all the things are normalized in the future, especially in asian countries.

I stopped shaving 3 years ago, I too have so much thick body hair, when I shave the hair literally starts growing by the next day 😢 about three years ago I was fed up with this cycle and just decided to buy an at home IPL hair removal device from Amazon, that was truly the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life, the best part are the arm pits and down there, I never thought my skin in these areas could be soooo soft and clear and hairless for months, I do retouching every 6 months now. IPL hair removal is a seriously a blessing that I’ll be thankful for forever.

@@lizkavanagh the brand I use is called MLAY, there are more expensive brands but they all work the same. I’ve had it for about 3 years and it still has more than 200.000 pulses remaining. If you want to use it for the bikini area, I highly recommend using ice to numb the skin instead of numbing creams, I’ve used numbing creams for most of my 3 years journey with IPL, they don’t completely numb the skin, just a few months ago I tried ice and was shocked by how painless it made the procedure go to the point I thought the device didn’t work 😂. Just rub a cube of ice on a small area of skin for about 20 seconds then immediately dry the area and use the device, I keep a bowl of ice by my side to use it as I need until I’m done.
Does it hurt on the skin? I want to buy but idk if I need professional to do it or if I can manage to do it on own…lol
@@greeneyelightskin746 I wouldn’t say it’s painful but it stings as you increase the energy, start with low energy then work your way up, it’s totally worth it and you get used to the tingle, for the bikini area use an ice cube to numb the skin then dry then use the device, you’ll be amazed by the results within a few months if you do it consistently, I haven’t needed to shave anywhere in almost 8 months and I had thick black body hair. Hope this helps 🤗

I am Ukrainian, so my skin is pale, but my hair is dark. from about 10y old, the whole thing began to grow actively, and I was terribly shy of body hair (they also grow back with a regular razor the very next day), and I was especially terrified of facial hair 💔 only after +20 years I became calmer and stoped shaving every two days .... I use an epilator, but for the face I will take note for sure! thank you so much for paying attention to the topic that is so popular to be shamed and i really thought i was alone with problems like this 💔
I always felt insecure about my body hair as my old friends always pointed out how hairy I was. And when I made new friends, I did not want them to make me feel the same way so I started shaving. But my new friends were the total opposite and asked me why I was shaving and that it was natural to have body hair. I never shaved after that. People would contantly impose their opinions on you and judge you no matter what you do so whatever you do, do it for yourself. To this day, I'm still grateful for my new friends 🙏🏻

One more hack, this is my FAVORITE razor as well. I’ve been using it for YEARSSS and it is the safest and nicest razor I have ever used. My hack is that you can actually go up and down with the razor. It actually makes it where I don’t have to rinse it out as much because when I go down the hair comes out of the blades onto my skin where I can just rinse it off my skin when I’m done shaving (unless it’s like a really dense hair area then I will occasionally rinse it but still I go up AND down). Try it out! Be gentle if you’re prone to strawberry skin and razor bumps but it is seriously an amazing feature.
I dont touch my legs for for three months from Oct. till Dec and then shave once for new years eve, and then i dont touch them again for three months until my birthday April, and then usually depending on the weather i start shaving regularly halfway June up until Sept. its very specific but i really like it this way and that first clean shave always feels so much more satisfying!

I didn't know girls in Europe shave their arms until I met my husband who is German. We girls from Vietnam only shave the legs and armpits (some don't even shave the legs at all) so in the beginning my husband was like "ah uhm should u consider shaving ur arms?" But I don't want to do that. After a while he got used to it and now it doesn't bother him anymore. 😌
