  • A cover of Gershon Kingsley's Popcorn. While its no Moog quartet, I still think it sounds pretty good.

It's amazing how this simple tune without even any lyrics has remained as a musical classic far beyond many hits from famous singers that are now forgotten.

Is it really amazing? Much of what is literally called "classical music" has no lyrics and is still listened to today, hundreds of years after being written.

    • @effyleven

No. It's not amazing at all. See the comment above about classical music. Classics are classics. Their qualities endure.

Excellent young man, and you are a star in the making. It's rare today to see anyone actually produce the tones, the rhythms, and to understand why it's played that way. You sir, please keep going, no matter what others say, you keep going, and keep going. You are the music makers, let the world dance to your tune.

If you ask me analogue synths are addicting. I had the pleasure of working with one, and damn. I am not a good musician, I am GARBAGE at writing melodies and identifying notes, but let me tell you, I wan't to get better just to do justice to that poor dusty synth 😂
I can't remember ANYTHING as it's been a few months, but it was an electronic organ dusting away in a storage room at my school. Even though the keys were covered there was a thick layer of dust. I can't remember who made it, but I believe it was called a U-50? If I recall right it was produced in the 1970s. I couldn't find a manual online, so I had to figure out the thing myself. It didn't make noise, even when the volume was cranked up. The assistant that led me there told me that in the 10 years she'd worked st the school, she had never seen anyone play it. It felt magical when it made sound. Old tech amazes me!

Hard to believe I had a very good friend who drank away all of his talent and ambitions who used to be into tech and electronic music like this. The whole visual appearance of this is everything he strived for.
There is definitely a spirit moving through music and time. Don't fall prey to the poisons of Earth.

Exilent job ! Clear cut . I remember the original in 1969 on radio , i was sheaking my body , head and arms , legs like crazy . They call me idiot , but i know that music was to my galactic image connection . After that , only those kind of music hit my spine & brain , into my every cell , like JMJ OXIGEN , etc. that was where i relized i may came from another planet . At list that i was thought .

Where did you find the old Moog synthesizer. That must be worth a fortune. That was around $10,000.00 to 50,000.00 brand new back in the 60's depending how many modules you wanted. Most of the sound track for A Clockwork Orange was created on a Moog.
