- Peel Stop by Zinsser is a waterbased binder that can be used over dry chalky surfaces and crazing or cracking. Ideal for bathroom ceilings that constantly peel and bubble up as this stops all of the above.
Really great work👍
I recommend to film you "applying" the materials so we can see the texture, thickness, etc., of the materials and how it gets applied.
Your finished "steps" were wonderful💥
Thankyou so much mate. Much appreciated
I love this stuff , i always make sure i've got some on the van .
Great gear mate. Same as

Cheers mate
Hi how is your bathroom ceiling after two years
@@wll6777 used it at a customers house i was back there a couple of weeks ago and I can report no cracking, peeling or crazing to report, spot on 👍
Cheers Daniel, looks to be good stuff 👍
Thanks mate
Hi Daniel. Love your videos. I have stripped back the original paint to just plaster as there was lots of flaking. Would this be suitable for putting straight on to dry plaster, then covering with the layers of paint? Thanks..
Hi mate
Yes once scraped back all you can put this on and let it dry for 2 hours minimum so it can cure fully. You can put a thin skim of filler over the uneven walls then rub down and apply this again before painting as thick layers of paint are a problem in bathrooms.
Build up your coats of paint but give enough time for each coat to dry fully. Cheers Dan
Great work!!👍🏽🌟🌟
Thankyou mate bless you
Good video again 👍
What are you referring to when you say "skimmer filler" in-between the coats? Thanks
Hi. Just like an easfill 20 as I use this all the time for the quick drying
ive been using SBR bond for that type of peeling bubbling issue. the difference between PVA and SBR is that PVA remains water soluble so if it get wet after its dried it will just go back to being a wet glue again so is no good for tanking showers etc. SBR bond on the other hand stays sealed so im guessing peel stop is more like SBR than PVA although they both in the same family.
Hi mate
That's great info. Nice one
What did you use to rub it down?
I used a Mirka Dustless sanding system.
Nice one mate
Thanks mate
Good video mate
Can it be use as a top coat since its clear?
I see what you mean like a sealer? I've never thought of it but yes that would make the paint have a tougher finish I suppose. Good thinking mate
Would the zinsser primer sealer do the same job??
Hi mate
I have used Zinsser Cover Stain before and it did hold it back. Cheers Dan
Zinsser Primer sealer gave me insane blistering. All over the place. Oh man I could cry. I always use cover stain I dont know what I was thinking
Lol , put a vent in.
