What a flex it would be, someone streams themself cleaning up, and there's just a world famous celebrity sat on the bed - but you never mention them once!
Feels like the streamer in question would get popular the wrong way though. That is, they wouldnt exactly be gaining followers for their own means, right? Unless you count having a close relationship with a celebrity as their own means. Then again, it not like being close to someone famous will make you famous, or at least it wont make people watch you stream because of it.
@@pedrovallefin8406 In terms of using it as a means to get followers, you are absolutely right. To be honest, I just meant as a one-off, essentially just a little bit of fun. Like if one of Kayla's streams she just had Rick Astley sitting in the chair behind her, reading a book, and it's never mentioned. But you make a really valid point, using someone more famous as a way to gain an audience isn't a healthy way to build a community.
I love this for Stanley. He's deserved a Starlight Accolade for years. He can make more by getting sponsorship offers on the fame skill tree.
Romancing Judy and having her move in with me was exactly how I fast tracked one of my sims to being a rich moviestar 🤣🤣

started a new save and put so much effort into growing my sims follower count only to be shaken out of my denial and find out it doesn’t even matter to her fame or $ potential 😭😭😭
I've had a sim who had like 40k subscribers and then he made ONE ad and EVERYONE unsubscribed (the notification said something about 68k subscribers unsubscribing when I didn't even have that many)
I am still annoyed about that, bc I've spent his whole YA life doing that

Simsie struggling to come up with video titles even though she uploads her own titled videos every single day irl is a mood
Lets be honest, her titles arent exactly creative either. No surprise she struggles to come up with diferents ones on the spot when her real life titles always follow the same three to four formats. Not like theres many variations you can get out of titles for daily videos of similar content anyways (even in the video she follows a continuing narrative on the way she names each video), so im sure the way she comes up with them in reality is prety much the same.
The internet has changed a lot in the ten years since Sims 4 came out, I think they tried to add the current-day edition of the internet/social media with each subsequent release. I wish they'd make it more coherent but cross-pack compatibility never seems to be that high on their list of priorities. 😒

I played a vlogger/youtuber Sim once and b/c of the Basemental mod I had him get addicted to drugs while making videos about it and then his rehab journey and it was stupidly fun to make up off the wall titles and have a good time. I think I had him start off as live streaming cooking videos too and it went off the rails somewhere in there. I love that mod haha

They should upload a separate video with off the wall transitions and title it with Stanley’s version/edits for fun and Dan can do anything’s he wants

I can't believe it's Time for another St Jude event!! I'm excited to watch all month as we raise money for an amazing cause!
Del Sol's bad lot distribution in the starting neighborhood and bad default builds is lot by lot getting solved in my sims world via For Rent: I've turned the starter neighborhood mostly into a bunch of custom built rentals designed to fit in with the surrounding shells, and been upgrading the default community lots as well. I also turned that crummy museum into luxury apartments with some "businesses" - an office, a lounge, an arcade (they are "functional" in so far as sims doing fitting activities in those areas, but they dont produce any income or operate as a real business) and the museum put onto the ground floor.
you should try and attempt to make a classic british new build house!! some of them are awful 🤣🤣

I usually add vending machines in the older Maxis buildings because most of them were built before we had such machines at all.
I know using the City Living Social Media carrier, working from home, and livestreaming playing videogames FREQUENTLY works pretty well to make money. My sim moved from the horrible little Needs TLC apartment next to Penny Pizzazz to one of the nicest apartments in San Myshuno (I think its next to the Fengs) while also doing university. Its not the fastest, but it is faster then a standard job.

I have had sims who did this with a job to but the best thing is get the video stand upgrades and to always edit and add transitions it helps sims get more money from trendy videos/ more viewed videos
I've always figured Social Bunny is like, your personal facebook, while all the other things are various ways you can become a youtube/twitch streamer. Like it's the same streaming platform, and just different ways your sim can fall down the rabbithole of streaming if that makes sense?

Patchy unalived using the telescope while my sim was at work. I didn't even know that he could unalive. I just had to sit there and watch. That telescope is both a menace and a blessing.
