Thanks brother. And after I cleaned it up I found more to be bummed about that. It was no corner notched piece, it was a side notch. With cross shot flaking. Like the broke I found yesterday.. Thanks for watching. 👍👍💤

Thanks brother. Got it cleaned up awesome piece . Those lil ears make me think it was a side notch. Also has cross shot flaking on it... So it was no kirk corner notch. Something a bit older too. Thanks for watching. 👍👍💤

Mushrooming tomorrow and walking a creek below a supposed site close to me. Do you think water pushes artifacts downstream very far? We got lots of heavy rains and flooding over the years.

Thanks Brother. You asked the right person... I have been studing this in all my creeks, ditches Rivers. Here is the deal. I found that it is acording to the size of the piece. Your small points will hang out right there at the entry to the water. within 20 feet or closer. You have already seen this in my videos. Mid sized points go 2 gravel bars downstream at the most.. Large points seem to fly through the water they go a long way. And toss all this info out the door if a flash flood occurs. Because It can scour the botton down to bedrock. There is a lil more to it but I believe that answered your question. If NOT let me know, I know about every senerio that happens in the creeks. You can tell that by my sucess rate. lol. Thanks for watching. 👍👍💤

@zzzzzzzzzzaper Right on Brother. You would think the opposite, in the scheme of things. When say trying to get two materials of different size and shape separated by screening the material, just by using motion. The larger pieces of material always come to the edge of the pile. I reclaim shot from trapshooting clubs which contains different sizes of shotgun shell shot, dirt, moisture, etc.
It's crazy how physics works. Thanks for your input. I want to find a few points here locally to put all the skeptics at rest. My family has been here in this area since the 1730's. I love history and everything my Dad taught me about the outdoors, history and life. Now that I'm a old man I feel the need to do it before it's all gone.
