Your efforts paid off.Nice finds. In my honest opinion, the game ball is likely not a game ball but I believe its a hammerstone. The pecking is easily explained by the frequent strikes in point making to the work piece to remove flakes, but also the obvious rotation to various places on the stone creates facets while reserving two flat sides for pinching the piece while easily spinning it to the preferred spot depending on how they wanted to strike the work piece.I love it.

The stone you called a gameball is actually a early knappers hammerstone. It is a really nice one too. I have found some of those in the past and I really like them as they are the stones the Indians used to chip their arrowheads and knives. Great find!

.Good things had to come for you my friend. That bird point is beautiful. Several very defined preforms. The one that has a small fracture at its base is also a very good find. BLESSINGS TO MY FRIEND.

Glad to see you taking the little one out there...he'll be outhunting you in a few years! The ball almost looks like some type of biscuit discoidal...could also just be a round hammer stone. Whatever it is, I've got a couple just like it.

Great saves again!!! I love that material that blunt is made from!!! Congratulations on the new child!!! For every one you have you have to give up three hobbies!! lol I didn’t start rock hunting until mine were driving!!! I think that’s more of a hammer stone as well jmo. But people find artifacts in various unfinished stages as well could have been on its way to being a disk at some point.. It’s a beauty for sure!!!

The "Gameball" we would call a "biscuit discoidial". Used for a shuffleboard type game on ice, allegedly!

Nice finds man. That brown stuff sure looks a lot like what we call ‘Carter caves chert’ here, east Kentucky below the Ohio river. Thanks man glad stuffs washing out for you some

Right on East KY, Carter Cave and Paoli chert are the same thing, and I think his red blunt definitely is made of it, and the brown blade may also be another shade and grade of it.

Sweet finds man! Ive always wanted to find a guilford axe- 🔥(its on my bucket list). I definitely think that's an arena blade. Also check out Clegg's Adventures's latest video where he finds a stone like yours. He demonstrates how he thinks it was used for a gambling game. Congrats on the baby sir! Cool your kid likes going even if he gets a little bored 😂

Thanks for taking us along! I’m learning a lot. Just curious about your kayak set up on your homepage could you do a video on it? I do know fishing kayaks but yours is definitely for moving along! Thanks!

Sure thing there’s definitely some good videos out there on this type of kayak. It’s a mokia only thing I don’t like is if the water is trashy you have to constantly clean the pump out.

It’s a hammer stone, used for flint knapping.
