I really hate how the German marques seem to give f-all as standard and need to add everything as an option. FFS my MG has roof rails, adaptive cruise as standard, why not these? They really aren't prepared for what is incoming!
I love it, that interior is gorgeous in that colour. The only thing I don't like is the black plastic part round the rear number plate. Looks cheap and too fussy. Also a bit mean they don't include a rear wiper, but at least you can add it on.
One of the best reviews I’ve seen for this new Macan, in terms of presenting style and information, thanks. I agree wholeheartedly that Porsche should have included some key additional standard items to bring the basic spec up a bit and that would have assisted in justifying the significant price differential between the ICE version and this EV version.
It's a shame that your Q6 e-tron review is delayed, I will be interested to see whether your positive comments about the platform will transfer to that car. I will get mine tomorrow - I didn't seriously consider the Macan because I was already well over my initial budget and a similar Macan would be a good €20k more. I think the Q6 is more of a comfort & family oriented car, though, whereas the Porsche is more of a driving enthusiast's car, and I'm afraid the first category is more appropriate for me anyway!
The current Macan is being binned in the EU because it doesn't meet the newish GSR regulations. It's being kept (unlike the Up!) presumably because it's profitable enough without those markets.
Until they build in Confidence in residual value it will be a dead duck. All the recalls previously , the cost for repair or inability to repair them is a major stumbling block. The whole brand was built on residual value.
There are quite a few 3 phase chargers available. The issue is that you need a three phase supply to your house as well. That’s pretty rare in the UK and costs rather a lot of money to get it added. It’s more common in mainland Europe to have three phase in newer homes but not in the UK.
Very good, name the correct prices of the tested car. Too bad about the nonsense that it’s a driver’s car. The car can brake regeneratively (F1 does that as standard). To my knowledge, turning it off can be done with more cars. Stop pretending it’s a gasoline car with those features. It is not. It’s just, just like at the fair with the bumper cars, an electric car. And that’s a good thing.
Mine’s ready for collection - Turbo. I can’t wait!!

Another top review. But personally, I’m glad I ordered the Q6 etron S Line Edition 1! Style. Comfort. Practicality. Saving £15k!

I think the new q6/sq6 in sportback version looks way better and looks more bang for the buck

I appreciate that!
07:19 I’d call that colour Grey Primer!
As expected, a really fab car……but there is no doubt that the price limits its market penetration.
Nice review.
Would you be reviewing electric Macan base RWD model as well?

I think Anderson can offer a 3-phase charger.

AI automatic translation kicking in on every new video 😢
Don't "suggest" ranges, do the tests and have a factual statement.
For a profitable business it's affordable.......for everyone else it's irrelevant, except as a pin-up on a teens bedroom wall.
Porche elettriche = bestemmia
😂😂😂😂 WTF
Problem with that nose looking just like a Tesla, which I detest.
No way near a similar look.
It looks abit like a frog.

100kWh... That's really a lot more than you practicality need.
How do you know what everyone else practically needs?
@jayem8981 5 years doing EV on everything that has 2 wheels.
As USA shows there is always room for idiocracy kWh for those that can't hold their foot.
