Man, I love Malcolm X. He was so proud and unapologetic in his Blackness. I’m a Black student at Columbia and sometimes it’s overwhelming because it’s a P.W.I. I always go back and listen to Malcolm X’s, James Baldwin’s, and Dr. Martin Luther King’s speeches or interviews to remind me to be proud of my Blackness and keep striving for greatness like they did.

The mountain is originally named Four Grandfathers, as the original look of the mountain resembled four, well, men who were standing tall and protected what was a sacred burial ground for the local indigenous. Malcolm X was such strong intelligent human being. Growing up in Los Angeles, my parents took us to see Malcolm X speak, at the time I was nine years old and he captured my attention.
While we did not always see eye to eye on methods to solve the race problem, I always had a deep affection for Malcolm and felt that he had a great ability to put his finger on the existence and root of the problem. He was an eloquent spokesman for his point of view and no one can honestly doubt that Malcolm had a great concern for the problems that we face as a race.
Few ever walked this earth with more intelligence. Imagine with today’s resources. An immortal who’s work will be foundational in the new constitution.

Malcom X was a spokesmen for God, who appointed and anoited him for this very purpose. To bring fire with his words to burn deceit, injustice, and lies. I Love this guy because he was a man after Gods heart. To come against injustice even at the cost of his, own life.

While we did not always see eye to eye on methods to solve the race problem, I always had a deep affection for Malcolm and felt that he had a great ability to put his finger on the existence and root of the problem. He was an eloquent spokesman for his point of view and no one can honestly doubt that Malcolm had a great concern for the problems that we face as a race.
Few ever walked this earth with more intelligence. Imagine with today’s resources. An immortal who’s work will be foundational in the new constitution.
