You reacted to very good examples of Videos. But I think it would Help us a Lot of you react to a bad example. Maby from a small TH-camr. And tell us what he did wrong and what he can do better.
Was very interested in Beast's comment in Casey's interview about how he purposely uses cameras that are "kind of bad", because he wants that homemade aesthetic. The audio is crisp and clear (they have a dedicated sound recordist on set) but the visuals are kept deliberately "TH-cam appropriate" for authenticity.
Definitely gonna implement some of the things I learned here in my upcoming videos. 1. Tell exactly what the audience will be getting in first 10-15 seconds. 2. First two minutes hook. If the viewer stays then they'll stick till the end. 3. Use the right music that fits the mood. 4. When a part of the song gets repetitive, use your voice and give the viewer some extra information. 5. Remove any extra segment that changes the focus from the topic of the video. 6. Have a couple seconds breathers for the viewer in the form of meme. 7. Maintain quality while keeping it authentic and believable. 8. Have fun and keep a positive vibe.
ah man watching "jj olatunji's" breakdown would be hillarious. his editor mo syed takes part in his videos through editing and sometimes shows footage that ksi did not allow, it would be so much fun watching a breakdown of his videos. please🤗
As one of Mr. Beast’s main editors in 2019, I clicked on this with the perspective of ‘oh boy what’s this man gonna say...’ but all I could think leaving this video was, yep he’s right. I loved editing for him! You explain his style very well. As an editor I never even thought about it in this way. Great video.

Can you analyze the TH-camr dream because he plays Minecraft and Minecraft was like dieing slowly. But then after he started playing it he would get millions of views I think if you would do an analysis on dreams channel it would be very popular and would help your channel even though you might not want it.

After watching this excellent breakdown, I believe I know why I did not enjoy his 100 mil subscriber special. It felt a bit too overproduced, less authentic and I did not really care about the personalities of the characters (as there was almost no room given for them to express it). What sets Jimmy apart is the authenticity, the "amateuer, low-cost" style extremely interesting and engaging stories. His 100 mil vid did not do that. I could almost feel the struggle he is going through. After squid game he has too one-up every single video, putting him under pressure and making him lose what makes him special in the first place. Idk if anyone agrees, just what I personally noticed.
I have been doing this, going on my 7th year. I have improved so much, I am so close, but I really feel that somehow having this level of input from you would help so much. Would LOVE feedback....
