Yeah, if Max were American, and the story gives the illusion that he is, " leave no one behind," he would have guns or a laser blaster. Gee's, you don't go into the remote without firearms. A can of bear spray may not be enough. Good story, though..

The voice and narration of this video compared to others I have viewed was much better, very articulated and sounding more normal. Nice job and good story.

I was expecting the whole situation to have been setup by the humans to deliberately create a bond through shared adversity, similar to “Darmok” from ST:TNG. That would at least have made some of the contrivances of Max’s setup make sense to me.
Questions over questions: The "wild" creatures were mysogenistic, no more danger for Max, as soon as Kayla was gone? Max' place was a safe space, but Kayla was forbidden in his man-cave? Kayla left him behind in danger, with the possibility of him never been found and hiss team lost? Hey girl, give him a ride and let him out at the next gas station with telephone, come on!

Coms are a must and warning devices a must for off world jaunts. This was like a Halmark novel for sheer hope that Nothing goes wrong and NO mentions of who or what killed her ship and crew.

Usually they only speak their own language despite being "international" transport drivers.

Excellent story - but the subtitle AI... "...meeting her gays" needs to be reset. On a more critical note; An Explorer without even a basic weapon? No Gun, Bow or even a Sharp stick?
It's great that they can go for days and weeks without any sleep. How can Max spend all this time without his exploration work? First Kayla says that she fears that her team didn't survive the crash because her communicator was silent, then she decided to now fix her communicator. How competent is this exploration team if they didn't find the attacking creatures or the weapons/people that attacked and shot down Kayla while searching the planet?
She knew him as a human, so humans and Tarquilians must have met sometimes, and umm... Kayla looks a bit like an Elf pointy ears but not to inhuman, no tentacles or antenaes. Max and Kayla should be able too. To get in love with each other, if their spieces allow inter spieces relationships... 🤔 This do sounds like a romance, you cant deny it, Max i know you like her.🥰 And she, Kayla seems curious abot you too, maybe not in love but curious, curious and friendly. By the way. I am curious about this scfi novel and might look it up. It seems a good read. 😄👍
A very uplifting departure from the boom boom bang bang space opera genre. I could sense the writers had been inspired to deliver something different. I hope there will be more Kayla/Max episodes forth coming. Or a return to Seraphine by a future Earth/Tarquillian expedition. Best of Luck Kayla and Max!!
Her ship was shot down! There's an alarming lack of curiosity by all involved about who did it and where they are. Why doesn't Max have a weapon or a way to communicate with his group? Also, AI's have trouble with homonyms.
fine story....but a lil lovestory between aliens(human-tarkillian)would round it up....not about sex but a finr bond between different races would make the sugar in the coffee...
After listening to many stories similar to this one, I would like to say that this single story has the potential to turn into a series of books, if given half a chance. If this could be considered as chapter 1, I want to know more on how the main characters lives, will progress together. thanks for a great listen.
Why wouldn't they make their way back to his team especially once she became well enough to run. Why was he now safe to travelby himself after she left?
Hope is eternal but conflicts are always on the horizon. Personal relations are great bonds but there is always beauracracy and mistrust among humans let alone extraterritrials
A decent spin on the human & alien codependant survival/rescue trope ... but there was no payoff/conclusion. It just ... fizzled out. There was also no conflict or disagreement, at all. Zilch. In fact, the lack of any emotional heft or psychological finesse left me wondering if this was just an AI literary extrusion. Physics error: > At 43:50 max leans back in his chair (implying some degree of gravity or acceleration is in effect) but immediately after at 44:30 the gravity is zero, which was a jarring disconnect for me.

I read one once , human male . Female was a race who were red skinned , humanoid , had four arms , bald , with tails . They were a race called de-vils , who had visited earth in our ancient history. But their important parts fit together well enough to help a bond
So sad. Half of these story channels wouldn't be online without AI. I've seen a 500% gain in story channels on YT in the last year. The channel owners don't even read the story, they use an AI read bot.
Sooooo Kayla called an Uber and left Max alone? They couldn’t give Max a ride? Who shot down Kayla’s ship? What about her crew? Why didn’t Max hike back to his other camp with Kayla? They had to fight off creatures but Max was not attacked on his stroll back to home base? Why couldn’t they call the humans for rescue? I like these stories but you might want to fill in some of the gaps.😂😂😂

Lots of plot - holes. Best case they are leaving them for ongoing chapters, worst case, just AI writing and AI narration left to fade away.
