Good story, but no way in HELL could all this be accomplished in 5 hours. Battles take hours, if not days, after the battle everyone needs to take stock of who isn't dead, and what condition all the survivors are in. Restocking, repairing and reorganizing... And thats just 1 battle. For all this it would take probably closer to 5 months.
So i know its a short story, and there's only so much you detail you could go into, but there are several occasions where its mentioned that humans were "Strategic". While i agree with this, i dont think it was conveyed very well within the storyline itself. In the first battle, Steele says to engage the enemy hard and fast... which is just basically a frontal assault. After the battle it was mentioned about their strategic prowess again and i just didn't feel that when the only real command during the battle was basically "Charge".
