    Hell Ms. Jade, I am a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda and would like to immigrate to Canada this year. I have over 12 years of teaching and 6 years in biological research. I would like to get my PR visa and move to Canada to find greater work opportunites in research. How do I get started and is it a costly process? Thanks for your reply.

    HHello Jade, I'm Muhsina, an American citizen who has spent two years studying in Canada and who aspires to settle there permanently. I would like to know if choosing to go through the landing procedure to become a permanent resident results in the loss of citizenship in one's native country.

    Hello madam, I have recently entered Canada as a new immigrant after receiving COPR outside Canada after physically landing what's next and when I receive my first pr Card

    Thank you for sharing the video; it was extremely helpful. I have a question regarding my status once I land and have my COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) stamped. Will I be considered a Permanent Resident (PR) immediately, or do I need to wait for my PR Card before my PR status is confirmed? The reason I ask is that I need to complete my studies in my home country before physically relocating to Canada, which will happen one year later. However, I need to complete my landing process before August of this year.

      I advise you go first to land within the time frame and then return to your country for your studies. After your studies, you can finally settle down in Canada

    Thank you for the information. The timelines shared by you turned out just perfect in my case.
    Is it mandatory to land in the city / province of destination mentioned on the COPR? If one is not coming via the PNP, can the city of destination be different from the one mentioned on the COPR? Please guide. Thank you.

    Hello Jade, I was endorsed by atlantic immigration program, I have 2 years work permit, and I have a dependant husband with the permanent residence card, I have it too. I have been working for 2 months, but the salary is really low, I want to go back to my country and my husbands wants to saty to get the citizenship. As I was the principal applicant, that would affect him to get the citizenship?

    Hi Jade. Thank you for the video!
    What should I do if 3/4 members of the family are in Canada, and the principal applicant is outside of Canada when receiving the Ready For Visa letter? On our Ready for Visa letter, it stated that in Canada applicants need to submit a webform within 5 days of receiving the letter. However, in the "Outside of Canada" section, it stated that all documents of each family member should be in one single package. I'm a bit confused of what I should do in my case since my family member happened to be in different locations at the time of receiving this letter.

    I have been living in Canada under PGWP, and recently received my COPR. I want to travel outside canada and return but my visa from my previous PGWP expired. Do I need to go through eTA process and submit my passport or can I just use the CoPR to return to Canada? I am having hard time to understand the conditions. Thanks

    Hi Jade, I am in Canada and waiting for my landing interview call. After doing an in-person Landing interview and receiving COPR, would they send me the portal link to apply for my PR card separately or they will send me a PR card themself to my mailing address?

    • @JadeCalver
      @JadeCalver  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There’s no interview usually (they’re VERY rare these days). They will usually just send you an invite to the portal to submit your photo and address.

    Hello Jade , very informative video . if you lost your job after getting your COPR with PNP . do you need to inform immigration on POE or before travel to IRCC? or don't need to inform them .

    • @JadeCalver
      @JadeCalver  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a tricky one, if your application was dependent on the job offer, then not declaring it a the border could be deemed misrepresentation.

      It depends on which program you're filing under, some take six months others over three years.

      Hi there, to maintain your residency status in Canada you need to be present in Canada for 2 our of every 5 year period, with some exceptions.

      You would have to immigrate on your own through an economic class application.

    Hi Jade, thanks for the video! I'm having a problem with my PRCard. I landed in Canada in 10/June/22 and my prcard still didn't arrive, 3 months ago they asked me (by letter) to send new photos, I did it but no prcard yet... I already sent the Solemn Declaration (2weeks ago) and also sent a webform. Would you have any hint? I also tried to get some info using CAS but no information was found...
