Yeah me too. And I know what's Chaeri was talking about. When I got a PS1 with 1 game (Omega Boost (original with the a black CD)) I really enjoy read the manual, the controls, some arts, disclaimers, etc. I was really obsessed with that game and was the only original though.
thats what i do whenever i get something new, instead of wearing it or using it i take the first few days to just stare at it

Why's this channel so underrated
You got really defensive at the beginning about “only” getting the Switch Lite, but don’t let anyone tell you only the “actual” switch is valid. Your argumentation makes sense. It seems to me like you’re valuing the things you own and that you probably have worked and saved up for a lot. :)
Its more popular in japan, because its more comfortable playing it on the go.
yeah u seem to like the way she thinks quite a bit, so im here to tell u that ur a normal person and you shouldnt tell everyone what u think bcuz most probably ur saying some dumb or repetitive stuff. she says she doesnt get the purpose of the switch as a traditional console (plugged to a tv/monitor/bigger screen) only becasue only SHE cant relate personally to its usability. the fact of the matter is that nintendo like most other console companies on its exclusive titles which the most popular of those are played in a local multiplayer experience (smash bros, mario kart, mario party, etc...) so the switch absolutely has a purpose as a traditional console bcuz guess what: if it didnt it wouldnt be designed that way bcuz very smart people (a whole bunch of them) work very long and hard (gachiHYPER) to make these products. anyway, always try to think from a position where ur wrong and ur trying to argue against urself. also, in case ur wondering, i dont write this bcuz i have a switch and have to justify it, i actually game only on pc. the reason im writing this paragraph is to make u stfu in general and to make u think a bit more than usual before you talk.

I don't have one
the massive brick on the switch charger is actually very important to ensure that you charge the switch at the right voltage. I used a generic USB C charger on mine for a while and it couldn't charge the switch as fast as the switch pulled power. Granted its more important for the non-lite switch but important all the same.
They stick with the old charger simple as that. That charger works with the dock. I've been using a 18w and 45w and it works great
I only bought a Nintendo switch for mario odyssey, I now have 35 games. You’ll find yourself buying fun indie games on the e-shop regularly.

You won’t regret the switch lite, I bought the same one for animal crossing just because of the lockdown and needing a game to get lost in - I’ve had it 3 weeks and I’m still really loving it and I don’t feel like I need to play it on TV. I love the feel of it and how light it is plus the colour’s lovely :)

I only got the switch for a couple games too (Breath of the Wild and Smash) and I LOVE Zelda it was a great game. Definitely think you’ll enjoy it. Can’t wait for the new one and if you don’t get the new one when it comes out right away I’ll leave a comment on a video and let you know how it is. Anyways great video love all of them!

From what I read the joystick drifting issue is a hardware issue. Something about the internal mechanisms are made of different materials, so it'll break or get stuck internally, causing the drift. Definitely do keep it dust free, and feel free to look it up for yourself, that's just what I've found out about it

Some games on the switch are more appreciated on tv dock mode. I prefer using it on the dock rather then handheld. Zelda is perfect docked and other games. Even Mario Party is fun with friends.

Yes, I prefer everything in that shade of blue too, it's turquoise for moi. :)
They can't make charger smaller. It's obvious. When you have to output a lot of power, you need more and bigger components to achieve this. Switch AC adapter is like 39W. For example your cheap iPhone AC adapter is 5W (1A / 5V) or 10W at best.
My 45w samsung charging adapter is just as small as the 15w one.
Damn chill its not that serious. And my regular samsung charger, charges my Nintendo switch like nothing.
Really that's just silly. They can make it more compact.

I think its bigger because it has more power output or ists just cheaper in production. U compare your power outputs with ur smartphone charger. There is a sticker on it.
It's a transformer, to lower the electrical current from the mains socket. I'm from england and household mains electric is about 250 volts. My phone charger has a transformer in the plug which lowers the current to 9 volts.

I actually came here because I was considering buying the nintendo switch lite solely to play animal crossing... and yes I came because I wanted to hear how clicky the buttons are... 😂 I have had Animal Crossing Wild World on my DSi XL for yearssssss and have always been wanting to try the new animal crossing games that have come out. I think now is the time though as it doesnt sound like there will be another animal crossing for a while and this one looks soooo good 🥺

The screens on the lite and the normal switch are pretty much the same just can't hook the lite up to your TV and the controllers don't come off the sides of the screen
Not even close... Lite is 5.5 inches, regular is 6.2! Might not sound like a lot but in screen sizes they are!... But yeah pretty much the same everywhere else if you dont care about multiplayer or playing on a TV!

As a Switch owner, it’s personal preference which one you want to buy. I use my Switch on the couch and on the go. The only thing that matters is which one suits your life best. And on that note, welcome to the Switch family :)

12:40 usually it s bigger because the Nintendo needs a bigger power source than the phone. For example for gaming laptops u get big bricks for charngers 100 w+ (usually is bigger the battery bigger the charger)
AC to DC Switching is the answer. 110/120 Alternating Current must be converted to DC power, usually 12 volts. Electronics need direct current to perform properly - AC is best and for transmitting power over great distances (and is really about its only reason to exist - DC is short distance). In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) flows in one direction. With alternating current (AC) current moves in large sine waves and can reverse direction. AC is not good for electronics - they depend on direct steady current that does not fluctuate wildly. The converter takes up space ( and use to take up a lot more) and is either carried internally or externally. The charger/power adapter is pretty chunky adding to too much space and weight for portable electronics - so it is outside at the power cord, and that means it take up a lot of space on your AC outlet instead of in your pocket or in your laptop.

The first can be a huge amount cheaper to produce, and cheaper to produce safely, while they are not as efficient as switch-mode power supplies.
The switch mode power supplies on the other hand can introduce certain problems Nintendo might have thought about circumventing by choosing a transformer-style power supply, to stop certain possibly dangerous situations from happening, or it might just be a switch-mode powersupply designed with a very generous amount of cooling of components known to run hot when used at full capacity.

Chaeri, make sure not to use your phone charger on your switch lite. Nintendo doesn't adhere to USB-C standards so it uses different wattages, and standard USB-C can damage your nintendo switch or switch lite battery. Sorry, if you already knew this. Also probably a bad idea to use the nintendo charger for your other non-nintendo devices, though I haven't watched any studies on that, just an assumption.

Wez ASMR go with the original. Nintendo switch is known to have joycon drift issues so once that happens with the lite you’re pretty much fucked lol with the original the joy cons are removable so you can always buy a new pair or just have the joycons sent out for repair

The lite is really the better one. I don't know what they where thinking about with the original. Just choose one, the tech isn't really good enough for both yet. It's slow and runs out of charge so quickly. As well as there being a couple of problems at launch, I don't know if they still have them because it's been ages since I've done any research on them, but it would be so stupid if they still do.

Hello there I really love the sound of your voice it very soothing just right for ASMR Soft spoken I listen to ASMR videos in at bedtime it really helps me fall asleep. I have a Nintendo switch lite the yellow one . The coral color one looks like it more of a girls color it almost pink. I love my switch I want to Buy Zelda I have never been into Animal Crossing but I am getting interested this new one that just came out look pretty good. I wonder why is there a sudden spike in sales for the switch now .

The charger is so big because you need a certain voltage to charge the switch, the port is the same as your phone, but the voltage is different, phones require less voltage.
