Hard to find youtubers who race with a sophisticated setup like the one here, who use the chase cam.
Forget on the limit man, this is the type of bravery you can only have in a video game; sick run.
You utilized about 90% of all potential racing lines on this track with many high risk moves to maximize momentum. That's pretty impressive in this game. I liked your aggressive style. Reminds me of Colin McRae himself. The one who started it all. Colin McRae Rally 2005 was my fav game back in the day. Seeing his rollover in the X Games is what forever changed my life. I hope to someday become a rally driver myself.
When you have a elevated view of three corners ahead it’s easier than from a cockpit

playing on steering wheel is more fun, whether you are looking for realism or not. playing daytona usa on the arcade its a lot of fun, and its far from real
he's faster than 90% of simracers in this game so I i do not see the problem of using 3rd person

It always bothers me when someone drives using a steering wheel, but in third person.
I have the same. I Spend 500 hours in PC2 with Thrustmaster TX and i could not drive in 3RD Preson camera, always cocpit and helmet view with good FOV and trackhat. The best set for me.

I never raced in real life, just some karts with friends and things like that. I'm being honest, I'm not a rally driver or anything. I just like cars overall, I played Gran Turismo, Forza, NFS, Colin Mcrae from a young age. I watched plenty of F1 and DTM races. I spent nights laughing my ass off at Top Gear. I'm a passionate Initial D weaboo. I watch the news here and there from mainstream car manufacturers media, and also like to keep in touch with JDM and classic car stuff. I'm not a fan of last automotive trends towards electric cars and such, but I still appreciate the Innovation. I talk about this shit expecting people to understand why a car is more than s four wheels box. And yeah, I'm boring as hell, I don't pretend to be that one cool guy who skateboards and thinks lambos are cool and then wastes his life away even if he kind of fucked all the pretty girls than fuck up himself on a low wage job at Walmart and he goes bald and gets fat and expects the world to award him for his fakery. Really.

might aswell use keyboard when on third person view
For me at least 3rd person kind of makes up for the lack of spatial awareness in cockpit mode since you're not really able to actually turn your head, look at mirrors and see around you. I'm playing with an xbox controller on pc at the moment but same feeling.
@@123Ir0nman yeah unless you’ve got be goggles or a really big screen the spatial awareness is kinda low. You sort of get used to it after a while but it’s still not optimal.

I always fail to understand why people play this with a steer in third person. It’s a million times more fun in first person, waaayyyy more intense that way
there are people who drive in first person for simulation and there are people who drive in third person because they also like looking at the car, not just in replays.
There are people sharing their middle screen while they're playing in tripple screen(source youtube: Vertical Video Syndrome).
When you share on youtube, you have to present stuff in a way so it's easier to understand & fun to watch. Most simracers suffer from Vertical Video Syndrome.
Still dont get why peope go full out with nice gear, real rally shift etc, and then drive in 3rd person.
