@@codycast uh huh, but they've been asked in numerous interviews "is it 1-82 or 1-8-2" and they always say the same thing. But there's for sure been a conversation. Lol
Matt sounds amazing, in this performance he seems kinda nervous, as if he's feeling the pressure of performing with Blink in such a stripped down atmosphere, as most would performing (myself included) with one of the biggest bands of all time. Mark always sounds awesome.
@@johnkevin5446 No. I love Matt in Trio, and I know he’s trying his best, but he’s just logistically not a good fit for Blink. Matt and Tom were completely different singers with different timbres as well as play style. There are other pop-punk guitarists that Mark could have chosen that can actually play their signature style well and actually sing Tom’s parts. Matt still struggles to play their older songs and even simplifies Carousel live; he can’t play it, and even has trouble with some TOYPAJ songs. Then you have the fact that his voice is simply too similar to Mark’s which kills the great contrast Tom and Mark’s vocals had in regards to the call and response aspect of their songs. I personally don’t care for Tom rejoining Blink, I just wish Mark had actually put his personal feelings aside and chosen someone that could’ve actually been a proper replacement. Matt has his limitations and unfortunately, they seem to be where Tom had his strengths and what separated Blink’s sound from other bands. It’s only natural if people notice that difference. I would still take Is This Thing Cursed? over California anyday, and Nine has a bunch of issues unrelated to Matt and more related to just how the band is currently being handled. Overall, I just think Mark should’ve really taken the time to choose someone to properly fill the void Tom left behind.

This is the one time I’ll admit that Matt skiba sounded better than Mark Hoppus,Mark ruined his own song the rock show and Matt sang all the small things perfectly and bored to death was awesome
