Dude Peter sounds so pissed when he’s using the symbiote’s extent. You can just hear in his voice that all he’s thinking about is “Ya know what, fuck responsibility, fuck holding back, and fuck the crumbling weight of being Spider-Man, I’m gonna destroy everything in front of me.”
I can't explain how much I love this touch. We've never seen a creepy/horror side of the symbiote the way insomniac showed it with this surge mode. Amazing decision
in that one fight sequence where Peter is screaming “WHERE IS SPIDERMAN!?” thats when i truly felt the Symbiotes power and control over him. hes ripping through hunters like paper mache and damn near crushes one with their own vehicle id say Peter was far from gone at that point lol
i love the audio choices they made for symbiote surge and how when you punch people you feel a slight deafness its such a cool effect and with a headset the ending to the surge sounds so good
Just a reminder: it’s not the Symbiote that’s so bloodthirsty. It’s Peter’s own repressed rage and bloodlust being brought out into the open. The symbiote just pushes him towards this path because that’s what Peter feels would make him a “better hero”.
It sounds like the suit is literally shielding Peter off from the world. With the lack of outside sound & more sounds of the suit moving around. It’s like it puts him in a temporary coma.

I wish I recorded it but the game forced me into symbiotic surge when trying to find Harry in the tunnels. The lights went out and I got swarmed, they were jumping me and the only thing that saved me was the symbiote.

It’s just that king in black venom can instantly regenerate from the burning Anti venom and thus it recovers the amount it looses in seconds But if we’re talking comics then Anti venom is even more busted as the healing happens to the touch and thus it burns symbiotes if they so much as touch him. Heck anti venom can even cure spider man of his powers if he lets him touch him and onto of everything i mentioned it can also track down and smell symbiotes watch edge of time if your to lazy to read the comics but wanna know about anti venom
Not many people know this, but if the robot dog activates the power dampener thing during symbiote surge, you basically have infinite symbiote surge as long as the robot has the power dampener active. The only downside is that during this you cant use any gadgets or abilities.
if you want a better scene where the sounds are longer you can go to the scene where you first surge and it literally just stops you completly to listen to the sounds
So much wasted potential I feel. We got robbed of solid development imo. There was so MUCH I feel could’ve been implemented with this suit gameplay and story wise.

I love the Indistinct whispers, very errie, sounded like parseltounge when harry spoke to a snake. I only wish outside of the surge the black suit had a different fighting style compared to the original ones. Cuz I’m gonna be honest I was very disappointed when there was no difference in combat when I had the black suit on, only when I went rage mode which was quite lazy from insomniac.

It’s ass and if proves how lazy insomniac are they had 5 years to make something special and unique and this is what we a get a black suit which doesn’t even have its own base moveset and you have to wait and recharge attacks and use a shitty rage mode to feel like it this is the worst interpretation gameplay wise we’ve ever seen the symbiote and it’s sad how older Spiderman games literally did more justice with gameplay more than insomniacc
@@bendytnd2435 the moveset was ass and the rage mode was just a bunch of repetitive takedowns and sluggish movement also the moveset play exactly like the red suit and we only get 4 limited abilities which are all not even original they took it from WOS and shattered dimensions

Definitely. I don't mind that it's a bit slower because you can just feel all the power going in. 3: Maybe it's not too original. But they're still very cool on their own.
