I have never posted a comment to you before, but I've been subscribed for a while. I wanted to tell you that I ordered everything for these casseroles at my Walmart and it was about 48.00 dollars. Anyway, it's just my husband and I here now . We made the Emchalda Casserole one night , and ate the left overs the next night and so on . So, actually 48.00 is going to make us two weeks of dinners. I'm amazed and thrilled! Thank you very much!
The only thing you need to remember to make a good casserole is mom's rule of 5. And that is: one meat, one carb, one vegetable, one soup and one cheese. Cook the meat, mix all together, bake at 350 for 30 minutes. 😊

I just hit the big 5 9. I have heard of tater tot casserole. I LOVE tater tots. I have never eaten tater tot casserole. I don’t make many casseroles. I do make things like unstuffed cabbage or unstuffed peppers. And I guess fajitas bowls and egg roll bowls are kinda casseroles.

Las Palmas Enchilada Sauce. Before it was sold it it Texas I would bring it home in my carry on luggage. That was always a treat for the X-ray machine. ha ha. I have never had Tater Tot Casserole. But I have made your (grandfather's) Chicken and Rice Casserole and it is a winner. OXO is my favorite can opener. Still sharp and easy to use. Thanks Christine. Have a great week.

Love the taquito idea. I would have never thought to try that. Probably still not the healthiest dinner in the world but it still looks great. Definitely going to try that.

I have an OXO Good Grips Lock & Go Can Opener that I absolutely LOVE. Yes, it's plastic, but it's also *OXO*. I've had it for probably 15-16 years at this point, with absolutely no issues!

We purchased a hand can opener from a company in Texas. USA made excellent on all cans. So easy to twist. Can't remember name about 17.00. Worth in . Good work all.
My favorite can opener is a Tupperware brand that does a smooth edge. But I would suggest going to the thrift store to see if there is an all metal option!
I had never heard of Tater Tot Casserole until I moved to Texas at age 51. So, to answer your question, I was around 54 when I first made It! Thank you for all the yummy recipes! 😋 Love from Texas ❤
Because of separate hand injuries in both hands, my favorite can opener is the electric one. I think I got the Hamilton or decker one for like $17. And I’ve never had tater tot casserole(35 years old)
Hey! Thanks for leaving the total price!!!! I was thinking I wonder how much these meals cost and then there was the answer! 😊 How thoughtful. Love it.
Thank you! I love all of these, so glad you show the real deal, and don't cook like.... lobster or something and call it a cheaper casserole 😅😂😅!!. Love your videos!!❤
Thanks Christine! Seen you make this chicken and rice dish many times and I’m finally trying it tonight for dinner. I’m trying to clean out my pantry, having a surgery on a few months and I won’t be able to eat much, so getting rid of it all now. I didn’t have a can of cream of mushroom soup but I do have some cup of soups, so used those up! I just fixed them with water and milk and reduced the water added. Hopefully it works well. Also added some chopped mushrooms, because they needed to be used.
Las Palmos is the best green enchilada sauce. Normally I do not like canned. Growing up, my Mom made a version of this using frozen burritos and beanless canned chili along with all the toppings.
I grew up on Tator Tot Hotdish here in Minnesota. It was basically just like yours, except with corn added. Now I add a large can of mushrooms, and I season the tots with garlic powder and smoked paprika. So many good versions out there I’ve tried. Taco, pizza, bacon cheeseburger, sloppy Joe, and even a breakfast version. All so good and easy! Perfect for a crowd too. Great video once again, thank you! ❤️

We purchased a hand can opener from a company in Texas. USA made excellent on all cans. So easy to twist. Can't remember name about 17.00. Worth in . Good work all.
My favorite can opener is a Tupperware brand that does a smooth edge. But I would suggest going to the thrift store to see if there is an all metal option!
my fave can opener is kitchen aid manual and my fave enchilada sauce is Old Elpaso.
Favorite Can Opener… Swingaway brand. It lasted me 30 years !!

Pampered chef can opener is my ONE splurge with PC. Love it!
I had never heard of Tater Tot Casserole until I moved to Texas at age 51. So, to answer your question, I was around 54 when I first made It! Thank you for all the yummy recipes! 😋 Love from Texas ❤
Best can opener for me is a Tupperware safety opener. These recipes are fabulous!
Because of separate hand injuries in both hands, my favorite can opener is the electric one. I think I got the Hamilton or decker one for like $17. And I’ve never had tater tot casserole(35 years old)
Thanks for the great recipes. I love simple
I have a pamper chef can opener that I’ve had for about 15+ years. I love it!
Favorite can opener is Pampered Chef....
Hey! Thanks for leaving the total price!!!! I was thinking I wonder how much these meals cost and then there was the answer! 😊 How thoughtful. Love it.
Love this video! More like this please!
Swing a way can opener...I have had mine for 15 years so far...just bought one for my daughter-in-law and she loves it....I just throw mine in the dishwasher every so often...Amazon has them...just type in Swing A way can opener....there you go!! Love the recipe...Meat ball and rice is my favorite...
I've had mine for 47 years! Wouldn't use anything else. 😊
Great new recipes, Christine!🎉 I really needed these!🙌
Tater tot casserole is a family favorite. My husband requests it for his birthday dinner. Fried onions are a great addition to this dish (between the meat and cheese layers)
The can opener from Pampered Chef is the best! Totally worth the money!
Starfrit can opener is my favorite
My favorite can opener is the Smooth-Edge Can Opener from Pampered Chef. Pricey, for sure, but it has held up really well.
Love this video- I love me some casserole dishes, busy mom life here haha. Thanks Christine, can’t wait to try like all of them. And I have been seeing this tater tot casserole going around but have never ate or tried it yet and I grew up with a mom making lots of casseroles lol so I’m surprised ;) I will have to try it.
