    For the biscuits, you can actually separate the layers to make them thinner to you can use the regular muffin tins and fit more! I make little pot pies like that and it helps stretch the amount of dough you have!

    • @happycook6737
      @happycook6737 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      And I bet your creative idea also reduces the calories but still gives the taste of the biscuit! Thanks for the great idea.

    I love your videos, they're so funny yet informative 😁 I've made many of the recipes you've shared in the past and used a lot of your tips also. They just MAKE SENSE to me.
    Little tip from a Mexican American lady who loves to cook, when it comes to rolling burritos, go ahead and heat them up in that big sheet pan you made your french toast on for a couple mins first so they're nice, soft & easy to fold, you don't want them to be crispy because then they'll crack. Also, when rolling them go ahead and tuck the ends in as you're rolling so they're nice and tight all the way around. If you don't want there too be too much tortilla on the inside, (they're too chewy or something) go ahead and slice 1/4 or a 1/3 of the edge of the tortilla and then roll it 🙂 so that the piece you cut off doesn't go to waste, you can go ahead and fry it and sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on them, enjoy as a type of churro dessert 😋 if you have some, drizzle some caramel on top

    For the stuffed biscuits here is a tip - use the Texas sized muffin tin - take your biscuit dough and slice about 1/3 round off the tops of them. use a rolling pin on the bigger bit and make it big enough to cover the bottom and sides of the tin. Add meat of your choice (interesting note - pepperoni works great for this but ham, sausage, bacon, chicken all work). Now crack an egg over it. Add you salt, pepper and other seasonings you desire. Next a layer of cheese. Remember that 1/3 that you sliced off earlier? it is now your top crust. You may have to use the rolling pin a wee bit again to make it large enough. Make sure you have a small vent hole somewhere. Time to bake until golden brown. Let them cool. You now have the best morning biscuits ever. you are welcome.

    I make breakfast burritos every weekend and eat them through the week. I wrap them in foil, turn the oven on when I wake up to feed the dogs and stick the burrito right in before it pre heats or anything bit heats up while I get ready for work and then I eat on the way to work. It’s the best!

    Love this, thank you! Our kids are grown and we have Grandkids, but we love breakfasts like this for early morning adventures! I make these kinds of breakfasts for the little ones when I visit and they feel like they're getting a vacation breakfast lol. I was one of those weird parents that cried when my kids went back to school...every year. One year, my youngest said I couldn't walk him to the drop off area, because I was going to cry lol! I promised I wouldn't, and kept a good poker face, until he was out of sight. I cried all the way to the car, passing all the cheering Moms lol. I still cry on the first days of school for my Grandkids. Kids and Hallmark movies are the only things that make me cry lol

    Hey Christine. Really enjoy your videos especially these kinds! Quick tip when using those massive tortillas. If you're worried that fully filling the tortillas will be too big a serving for your kids, still do so but simply cut them in half before wrapping them. That way the ratio of filling to tortillas will be nice and even and if your kids find that they still need more than the half then they can just have another!

    Your zucchini quiche, is very similar to Italian zucchini pie. There’s no bacon, but the egg mixture has Italian seasoned bread crumbs and the cheese is a mix of mozz and pecorino romano. There’s also garlic in the zucchini mix. And the mustard on the crescent dough is Dijon. Looks good!
