this is honestly the BEST review I have seen of this blender yet, b/c it genuinely breaks it down SO WELL. Also the fact that you have both to compare with is so helpful for decision making and the comparison to other blenders or uses that it wouldn't work well for. (Also props for the fact that you felt passionate enough to re-record b/c it was worth it)
Thank you for the comprehensive review! I couldn't decide between the two, and you've sold me on trying the mini! Now I just need to decide which color to purchase.
My main concern is how well the Mini will handle frozen fruit. Blenders I’ve used in the past w. 600 watt motors can’t blend them too finely and things can end up tasty gritty near the bottom. For me? The cause was frozen strawberries… and their seeds (small, frozen little devils!) Does the Mini handle frozen fruits well?
It handles frozen fruit really well. Everything I’ve made has come out really smooth and consistent but I’m going to make a smoothie today and watch out for the strawberry seeds and will report back. 🫡
I tested it again, and some strawberry seeds were still present. From what I remember this was the same with my other blenders, but there might be some extremely powerful ones that could get rid of these.
From the review comments, it seems the older versions had glass containers and were relatively quiet. It seems like the newer versions are not glass, so I wonder if they are now louder
@@graysontate_ There are advantages to both, but noise and scratches are typically drawbacks to plastic blending vessels. I would rather have both as options- glass for blending and an extra plastic one for on-the-go use.
Awesome review!! I think after your review I’m sold on the mini. Are the beast and the beast mini containers and lids interchangeable between the two models? Thank you!
Fantastic review and excellent break down and comparisons! I would have liked some demos or photos also, but no worries. Thanks for sharing, this definitely helped me for sure! 👍🏻💯
Thank you! I want the mini :) but haven’t found a review. It’s just myself and my husband so I think this will be perfect. And love matcha. This might be easier to make in the AM. I want to get rid of the ninja. It’s HUGE and too many accessories. I just didn’t like it so I think this will be perfect
Thank you for comparing the two. I received my Beast Mini today; however I unfortunately purchased the Mini without the extra container. I paid $20.00 less. I planned to return this Mini in exchange for a Beast, large or small with ALL of the accessories. I looked for reviews that compared The Beast vs The Beast Mini. Thus far, I have only found your comparison. Thankfully, you addressed ALL of my questions on which of the two will work for my situation. I have decided to purchase the Beast Mini with ALL of the accessories. I wish I would have ordered the complete set. Amazon delivers quickly
I love this review and just subbed to you! You sold me on the mini, I juts wish the Marshawn Lynch BeastMode came in the mini size b/c I love the hunter green color. Also, you said "malarkey" and I died😂😂😂
Thank you for comparing both of these. I have the big one from Costco, but I’m thinking of getting a second one to leave at work. Would love to get details on how you make Matcha in yours.
Ok the trick is using a little hot water with matcha powder and blending for 30ish seconds. Then I pour that on top of my ice and milk. So easy and I love adding lavender too!
I was just thinking about posting a follow up. Still using and loving the mini. I make my salad dressing and smoothies with it almost every week. Beast just launched extra containers on their website so I will probably buy a few so I can store more in the fridge!
Very helpful review. I picked up the large size Beast during the Costco sale, but haven’t opened it yet because I saw the Mini on Amazon. I only need a blender for my daily protein shakes and I think the large one would be overkill. I don’t need all the extra accessories to store either. Thinking the Mini would work better for my needs. Is there much difference in the noise they make? I love that Mist color, too.
I think the mini would be perfect for you. The mini is noticeably quieter than the larger version. Obviously, it’s still a blender so I would not call it quiet. All of the colors of the mini I think are great, but I really love this mist color because it’s more of a gray blue than a true blue, which I think goes with a lot of decor styles without being too trendy.
Got it, tried it multiple times and it’s going back. Could not handle frozen strawberries and the base got really hot. Maybe I just got a bad one.🤷🏻♀️
I just tried mine and there were still some strawberry seeds, but all of the frozen fruit was blended really well. My base has never gotten very warm, so I would just make sure that you’re using enough liquid. Otherwise I could see it overheating.
I watched your video just a second late. I had ordered a beast from Costco. After I watched your video. I realized I would like the mini more. So I ordered the mini from Amazon. I used both. And I have to say. I like the mini more. At first I was concern it has less power and not able to blend and chop frozen fruit. But to my surprise the mini very stable when blending. Not shaking or anything I was concern. Thank you for doing the review. The beast is too big for my hand to open or close. I struggle. The mini Definitely way easier to open and use. And it has more colors to choose from. I got the terra cotta. Easy to clean too. I have a lot of white applicants but the beast seem to get dirty quickly. And find myself keep wiping and cleaning as I use it. Just want to thank you for your Video !
Beast blender is gorgeous but the performance is subpar. It’s hard to get the contents out after blending. I still haven’t found a personal blender that beats the performance of my $60 ninja.
I prefer our place blender just for the cleaning aspect of the base which is outward instead of inward like the beast . I do have the regular size beast also
Ok, so I am by no means a master at doing this, but what I usually do is mix about a quarter cup of hot water from my kettle in with the Matcha and whisk together. You can also put it in the blender and make the whole process a lot faster. Then I put a bunch of ice in the capsule and milk and mix it together with a spoon. If you try to put the milk in with the Matcha before ice and blend it together, it just gets really frothy which I don't love.
Hi Grayson! How is the beast mini on ice? I find my magic bullet* really struggles so looking for something that is able to blend ice smoothly and not too loud. Thanks for the super helpful video!
Sorry for the delay! The blender does not do a great job of blending ice on its own. The ice that it does blend is like snow, but some of the cubes get stuck at the top and you have to shake them to get them to the blade. I think if you had some liquid in the mixture, it would work really really well. Like making a piña colada for for example.
I got the white Beast from Bespoke. I’ve had it for about 3 months. I love it. But in hindsight I would have gotten black. I don’t have a dishwasher so the blender top isn’t exactly bright white anymore. I’m hoping the sealing ring inside the blender top will last. I got tired of replacing the Ninja seal. They don’t just sell the ring. Also Ninja blades get dull fast. The sealing ring by the blades really gets disgusting if you don’t take them out and wash separately. It could be no dishwasher is the problem. Antique houses are pretty basic.
Did anybody try to make flour from nuts? I'm keto guy so no smoothies for me. More like egg bacon steak guy. Lost 30 lbs in 5 weeks now just trying to hold my weight. Sugar went down, blood pressure and my pulse.
A lot of people have said theirs stopped working after 1 year. Could you maybe do a follow up by March 2025? It's the only thing keeping me from buying. Can anyone else comment that theirs lasted longer than a year?
If you wonder why, after a few uses the blade base portion starts to stink like rotten food is because food is hiding underneath that gasket that you cannot disassemble. Really bad design on that part. It actually poses a large health risk because of the design not being able to disassemble itlike you can a traditional blender. You can separate the blade from the gasket from the screw on piece.

This is the absolute BEST REVIEW! No fluff just the deets for real life use. It's the mini for meeee!! Thanks so much!
Great reviews, especially a touch on pros and cons, ie. mixing dough, noise aspects. Well rounded and thorough review. Cheers to you!
Super helpful review! I think I’m going to get the mini, thank you!
Thank you for the comprehensive review! I couldn't decide between the two, and you've sold me on trying the mini! Now I just need to decide which color to purchase.
Honestly the toughest choice!

Honestly I am happy with the Tritan plastic because I am a bit clumsy and would have broken the glass by now.

Awesome review!! I think after your review I’m sold on the mini.
Are the beast and the beast mini containers and lids interchangeable between the two models? Thank you!
Yayyy I hope you love it! The lids are not interchangeable unfortunately :( The regular containers are wider.
Very helpful review! Looks like the mini is the one that I will get since I am only making smoothies etc for myself. 👍👍
Fantastic review and excellent break down and comparisons! I would have liked some demos or photos also, but no worries. Thanks for sharing, this definitely helped me for sure! 👍🏻💯
The larger one is $70 at Costco now and you get 3 containers. I love making nut milk with it. The white one color gets dirty and dulls over time.
Do you mean that rhe white color turns yellow over time? Can you please clarify, bc im trying to decide between the white and the black, thank you! 🙂
I just make nut milk myself I don't need a blender for it
I tried finding it on their site and it didn’t come up. I wonder if they still have it
That was super helpful! Thanks for sharing your review!
Thanks for the great post! Do you know if you can use the glass hydration bottle on the beast mini? 🤔
The glass bottle cannot be used on the mini or the regular. It is just an accessory bottle that you can pour your blender creation into!
Great video. I have a Vitamix but I want a blender for camping. I never saw it at my Costco.
I saw it on clearance for $69.99 at Costco today!
Oh wow that is an amazing deal! I am shocked because costco doesn't promote the product so that is a hidden gem.
Very useful video. Being a single guy who makes modest sized smoothies I ordered the Beast Mini
I definitely think it’ll be the right size for you! They just added more containers on their website so if one works well you can grab a few extras.

I cannot get my beast unstuck 😊
The lid with the blade part on it will not come off..
I love the beast it’s great for making salsa then store it away in the fridge.

HI, do you still use the mini? Still working? How much quieter is it compared to the larger one?

Thanks for the review! Going to try the mini
I have the big but thinking about changing it to the mini.. and I think I have decided to go with the mini!! Thank you for such a great review🎉
Thinking of doing the same. Did you make the switch, if so how do you like it? Any regrets?

How tall is the base of the mini without any attachments

Will turmeric turn the color?
My mist color hasn’t shifted with any ingredients yet. I’ve seen people online talk about the white color staining.
Thank you
