Russia just lost 30,000T of munitions, 60 warehouses full were destroyed in 60 seconds., 3,000 tanks destroyed, 10,000 armoured vehicles, 250 fixed wing jets, 26 ships including a submarine, $300B seized, no oil exports due to shortages, no defence exports for 2.5 years, circa 100,000 lost young Russians, 1 million of their brightest fled the country. All of which was from Putins chosen illegal invasion that he thought would be over very quickly.
Meanwhile NATO has two new powerful militaries, lost zero soldiers provided Ukraine with some old stock equipment, that has caused much of this damage.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.

Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.

To be honest, at this point deepstate ru maps are literally way more accurate than pro ukrainian. Often times by a huge margine. Historylegends is showing that alot of times in his Videos

Can't figure out why RU invested(wasted?) time in attacking Ukrainsk instead of progressing southwards to Hirnyk and Zhelanne Druhe. Did they know that the Nevel's'ke salient was already empty of UKR forces? Or maybe yeterday's progress towards Hirnyk did not happen yesterday but over a longer period of time and it was not reported.
Ukrainks have height advantage, RUAF can use the city to flank selydove from south and strengthen their position by gaining tactical height. The city also can be used as springboard for RUAF to push west direction and they can spread out to north, west and south to flank city of kurohove.

NATO have been fully involved in the conflict since February 2022 when Boris went to Ukraine, but the news is still saying Ukraine v Russia. to defeat NATO , Russia have to keep them guessing , so nothing obvious will be undertaken in order to encourage western planners to make big mistakes such as attacking Kursk. I suspect the Russians have realized that their actions are not really effective its just hyped up by the media.
