Finland and Sweden refused to join NATO for decades, but Russia even scared them into NATO. Whose fault is that? Those eastern European countries don’t really have much clout militarily, but NATO welcomed them, because without NATO protection, they knew that Russia would sooner or later try to invade those countries to try to bring under the boot of Russia again.
