Loved the show Tanked. Just a couple of years ago my wife and I binge watched every season that was available - on demand in about 4 weeks 😅 You guys definitely define "custom" in custom tanks. We learned quite a bit about saltwater fish and aquariums in general. My biggest take back from the show , other than the comedy , was how important it was to keep the fish stress free when adding them to a new environment. Hats off to you and your family 🙏
This guy and tanked are one of the reasons I got into fishkeeping. Love the show, even though I prefer densely planted freshwater tanks. If all they did was build 10g freshwater tanks with a couple of neons in it and talked about how to keep them alive, nobody would watch the show...
Heard to many bad stories about tanked I’m gonna pass on this one. Overstocking tanks, putting animals in to small of a tank are the two most common I heard. Plus apparently this guys stocks a ton of fish to make it look cool for the show then rips a bunch out making it not over stocked. To bad it’s all about the ratings so he shows the bad way to do stuff then fixes it after the show leaving anyone watching thinking the first way was ok.
Lmao this is the most open minded comment I’ve ever read. If only there was some kind of setting for him to speak about things like the media business, propping and explain it. And ya, television including ‘reality tv’ is fantasy and is made to appeal to masses. I feel like most people over the age of 4 understand this very basic concept and aren’t triggered by hearsay of a tv show about fish tanks. Maybe a perspective from those you most disagree with is more valuable than a perspective of someone you entirely agree with? Just a thought
@@bobsaquariumscreaturesandp5461 I have seen multiple stories of these guys overstocking a tank for the show just to pull some of the fish after they are done. That is bad for the fish. I have also seen multiple stories of them putting fish in to small of a tank for filming just to do the same as above. That is borderline animal abuse so justify it all you want. Why would I care about the perspective of some guys who don’t respect the animals and mistreat them when I am trying to do the opposite? I know how to mistreat them I don’t need to watch these guys jam to many fish in a tank for a few days just to film a tv show. Trying to sound wise but you are just providing a crappy justification of abusing fish. Good on you.
Lol, this guy is literally the worst thing that can happen to aquarium hobby, he's literally getting the fish rookies to pester, bother, and suffer the fishes, because of the environment they provide to the fish. And, if you are a rookie, and Brett is your first fish teacher, unlucky you ! so surprised to see Aquashella bringing him (not gonna lie though, their channel is funny, and cool, but has explicit content fish-wise!).
Ya If you look up a Chris Jericho interview with guys from deal or no deal can’t remember his name they both had them out in tanks and fish and both of their fishes all died after they died
