The Ordinary Niacinamide serum is the only one that helped get rid of my blackheads. I stopped using it because I bought the Glow Recipe Niacinamide watermelon serum, and it didn’t help. I went back to my beloved Ordinary serum and they are gone. It’s a miracle serum for me. I am super dry and it doesn’t burn or sting or dry me more. I love it.

I have a lot of acne and some blackheads, I tried using the carave SA face wash and dried my skin up and made it sensitive to touch. I’m now just using a normal jelly cleanser, and the glow recipe toner and dew drops with niacinamide. If you have any suggestions please feel free to just tell me if there are any products to help with this. Thanks a lot (and btw you have inspired me to use niacinamide and it’s great!!!) hope you reply back. ❤
Hey hope this helps some people but my favourite Salicylic acids are the Stubborn Blackheads serums by Neutrogena & the Revolution 2% targeted blemish 2% Salicylic acid serum. Also, for a Niacinamide source get the Niacinamide 10% and Zinc 1% serum from the ordinary.
When I was a teen, salicylic acid didn’t really work for me. I had to use a face wash with benzoyl peroxide. My skin changed as an adult, so I switched back to salicylic acid when I was in my 20s. It still works now, but I only have to use it once in a while thankfully.

i use the acne control cleanser by cera-ve and it has salicylic acid so it helps with blackheads and it’s oil absorbing so it makes your skin super soft. i was struggling with acne for about a month and this cleanser cleared it up in abt a week. i definitely recommend giving it a try

I havr conbination skin so my t zone is really oily and I have been using the ordinary niacinamide serum by diluting it into my moisturizer every 2nd night for three months and I haven't really noticed much of difference with how much oil my skin produces:( I also have pretty bad post immflamatory erythema mostly on my cheeks and I still have acne that is continuing to create more scars. Today I bought the byoma gel moisturizer and I'm gonna stop using the niacinamide serum for now since the moisturizer has niacinamide in it. My cosmetician was really mad at me when I said I use Salicylic Acid Peeling (CeraVe) to get rid of them (2-3 times a week). ( She also said I should only use it every 4 weeks which I personally think is ridiculous) Now my question: is it really too strong and does it harm my skin barrier, or am I good with using it more than once a week ?( because I really don't know how else I could get rid of them)
