    What throws your sleep/wake cycle off? And what gets it back on track?

      Nightmares and unwanted memories visit me at nighttime as a CPTSD symptom, and probably because I’m actively working to heal these areas during daytime. Your videos help me go back to sleep after a night terror/help me be less worried that they’ll occur or be really bad. Thank you for creating content that helps me specifically (I’m sure others too, but thankful for it being personal) 💙 love and light to you and yours x

      Being woken up because I'm a light sleeper. My smart watch tells me not about 2% deep sleep.

      @@hxr3786 yes, me too. Bad dreams and old baggage I am working on during the day , but carry over into sleep.

      Anxiety that I don't take care of during the daytime, and that comes back at night to wake me up...
      And going too early to bed when I'm not that tired...

      Normally just shift the cycle a couple hours each day. Normalize for a day or two then do it again...

    Your videos help me with my journey.
    I was recently diagnosed with GAD, panic disorder and bipolar. Soo getting to listen and go through all of this, is such a privilege.

      @@auina a roommate told me about it, they used it to curb acid hangover (which can be pretty rough, drained brain chemicals leading to severe temporary depression).
      It's a precursor ingredient to serotonin that can pass through the blood brain barrier. It will screw with most antidepressants. It's an over the counter supplement.

    Dr. Gray my favorite video of yours was when you taught us how to handle the stress of the pandemic using CBT- event, thoughts, feeling, behavior. I'm curious on how to apply that method to Climate Change as things seem to be worsening globally. Thoughts?

    Wow. This was much more than just deep and relaxed sleep. Maybe it was my timing (not bedtime) but for me it was a lucid mental and physical journey that I found relaxing and stimulating in pretty profound ways. I’m still listening after 50 minutes and my body is still and numb (in a lovely way) even as I type this comment.

    I was just given a CPAP machine to use and I can’t help but feel like I’m being strangled while trying to sleep. Your videos have help. I put in my sound cancelling earbuds, mask on and fall asleep. Thanks!

    I dont suffer from insomnia or never been diagnosed with it nor for the crita for it. I do struggle majorly eith sleep problems I wake up usually "early" of 830 or 9 but still will continuously not be able to go to bed till 1-2. Not even fully purposeful it's become a point of its nearly impossible for me to go to bed any earlier no matter how tired sometimes. It's just easier at this point to just stay up until those times and then try to get to bed. Idk if there's tips or causes of this but if anyone else has this struggle how are you dealing with it? Is it insomnia?
