Funny that you can tour Blackwater with a man tied up on the back of your horse, and nobody cares, but if you go there alone, is when the problems start
Honestly they should have done it as you can go down in New Austin and Blackwater areas of New Elizabeth as Arthur, but you do it at your own risk with random patrols that pop up that can be avoided, like in the chapter 6 when just about everywhere has a wanted dead or alive. The immediate Pinkertons are on you no matter where you go, is total bs. I tried to do the stay off the roads and pinkertons continued finding me no matter where I went and ended up getting killed. Even when I temporarily avoided them, they quickly reaquired me.
I think it should just be Blackwater that’s the death zone. If the player can make it to New Austin, let them. It’s stupid that the invisible sniper doesn’t allow Arthur to hunt the Legendary Animals and complete Herbalist 9, which is needed for the LOTE outfit which is MEANT for Arthur.
I totally get not entering blackwater as a town, but having blanket sudden death for the entire state makes zero sense. If I can escape, I should be able to explore like everywhere else. I want to give Arthur the Otis miller gun 😭
Bruh..I just did this tonight (Angelo Bronte mission glitch) got Otis Millers Revolver, sone sweet nudie pics , a nice ram skull mask, and shit I even explored Guarma early with no invisible sniper or any of that crap. It's a long trip but worth it.. I even recorded it I'm even thinking about posting it on the Tube just for shits and giggles lol

@brxan3096 Yeah it's a fun trip but long and if you are doing it during the Angelp Bronte mission like I did you are going to be making the trip in the dark mostly so be careful out there in Mexico it's real easy to fall off a cliff to your death lol Ain't much to collect really. You can get the few animals in Guarma but they are not needed for 100% completion.

Because Skinners in 1899 are not in that part of the America and when they arrive in the epilogue Pinkertons are not there anymore, you should keep in mind that chapters happens in 1899 while the epilogue happens in 1907 and Pinkertons can't stay in Great Plains and Tall Trees for 8 years
Leave it to Rockstar to completely patch every method players find to either make money or explore the whole map as Arthur to unlock the items he has access to but completely abandon Online which has several year old permanent off the radar and god mode exploits while also refusing to make new content and not even re-releasing the Outlaw Passes during their monthly crappy bonuses no one cares about anymore because roles are filled in a matter of hours

You should be able to explorer most of lower West Elisabeth during follow the yellow line missions (expect with Kieran in ch1 which limits you to western Ambarino), so long as you avoid the law in Blackwater itself. You’ll need to be careful the first time you cross into lower WE on the main road as there will sometimes be two bounty hunters or Pinkertons (I don’t remember which) posted on the ridge line. But you should be able to snipe with a bow. For crossing the Lower Montana river into New Austin, you will still be limited to the ch4 Angelo Bronte mission with John, the “Buggy” method or for the PC, a scripthook trainer or the mod.
@@synystershadows5989 I think it’s still doable. It’s still annoying being that you can only do it at night, and somethings that you’d want to do are locked I believe. You don’t have that problem with the buggy method. But it can be a tedious as you have to keep the buggy between you and the camera. I personally just use a Scripthook trainer to disable the IvS. Then I can do what I want, so long as I can get through the Blackwater region and avoid the law in New Austin. That is except the ‘Fisher of Fish’ stranger quest. With that, the only way that I know of to finish the last stage and ride with the fisher to catch that catfish is to wait until Epilogue 2 and switch John for Arthur, I’ve tried just about everything else that I could think of.
@@BrickWar with the buggy or covered wagon you can do the Legendary animals. Not sure about the Otis’ revolver though. Technically, you should be able to with the buggy, but I don’t remember if you can get it that close. Try it, but just remember to keep it between you can the camera, since if yo can see Arthur, so can the IVS, and sometimes he can one shot you.
@@eds1942 Stop confusing Pinkertons with Bounty Hunters (seriously, we are not in 2018 anymore), Bounty Hunters can't have the Lawmen dots and you can't become wanted with Bounty Hunters, you can use Bounty Hunters for exploring Great Plains and Tall Trees if you wait until they spawn and than make sure that at least one Bounty Hunter is following you because only one Bounty Hunter is needed and until you kill him or make him despawn Pinkertons won't spawn And about Otis Miller Revolver you can get it only with The Angelo Bronte Glitch (The one from 1.00 and the actual one both works) or Rampage Mod Menu
Just once, I crossed the river walking and completetly drunk, wen I fell down and woke up, pinkertons just went gone. I explored the entire south West Elizabeth with all the plants, animals and everything including Blackwater. The lawman was there in the city but they didn't chased me. I tried that many times again but never hapened againg succesfully, wen arthur fall down and wake up, pinkentorns just kill him. Just happened once by accident.
@joancodina959 I've never really tried to go to New Austin as Arthur before, but I've been stealing horses from the stables as John recently and it's shockingly easy haha so I thought I'd try see if I can steal the Silver Dapple Pinto from the Blackwater stable as Arthur. I almost got to it with a bounty on the back of my horse, but a local lawman spotted me and I failed the bounty "mission" because I became wanted. Gonna try again today though 😁😁

Using the bounty mission I can get into New Austin just fine but I can't cross the river to go further south to the Cholla Springs area without getting sniped. Anyone else have this problem?
I have a fully updated version on PS5, Angelo Brontë mission glitch still works, *BUT* for some reason, it is imperative that a police chase ensues when you and John leave the graveyard. Get clear of that, make your way back. When John Marston says something like “c’mon, lets get this done” when you’re like a block away from Bronte’s house, you can cut and run off to Blackwater, New Austin, etc
I think you can explore blackwater and new austin, at the last mission with arthur as you go back to camp and you have to press W if you instead go in to the river it will give you full control of Arthur and the blackwater area will not have any bounties
so just keep a bounty guy on ur horse then u can enter - haven’t tried it but big thanks man - im so angry that u kinda can’t get all legendary animals and missions with arthur
If you’re dedicated you can get a buggy from Saint Denis and ride out to new Austin as Arthur and collect the plants for herbalist 9 and kill the legendary animals. It takes time to master it though, but theirs tons of videos on TH-cam showing how to do it
They literally spawn killed me as soon as I went there. I thought I would be able to take them on as I can take on an entire town full of lawmen but this was different. They had auto aim and all their weapons do like triple damage.
I went into that area and this guy asked for help with his horse so I was like yeah sure and then when I went chasing after his horse like 20 lawman spawned out of nowhere and shot me
Avoiding roads in Tall Trees sometimes works and sometimes no but in Great Plains avoiding roads or no doesn't change because Pinkertons spawns everywhere
So question is if I go first with bounty on my horse and im free to ride,but what happen when i go down from my horse ? they go for me instant ? I need be on horse all the time ? Or can i dismount ?

Actually you can fish for legendary but not animals and no plants dammit, you can loot and get the elemental treasure done also sell your horse to horse fence over and over before getting there and you can make big bucks you get money and keep horse so just keep selling until you have all the money you want want take most valuable horse horse mine was white Arabian $360 a pop @Puffyorange
I figured that out pretty early on with all bounties. You're fine until you do anything more than cross a road. Then the patrols are one you. You also have to watch camping. If you camp and take too long cooking, you'll hear the voices of lawmen sneaking up on your camp and you have time to book it. Or if you sleep you will hear them as you're waking up and be ready to run right away. You can go back later to dismantle camp.
I just tried the bounty way today but with the first bounty from valentine! I went in all good but after going in past blackwater the sniper got me!! I don't know if it will do any difference with the bounty showing in this video so i will try it again! I was trying to get to otis miller cave to get the revolver
You can also go to new austin without getting killed by the sniper, just get a covered wagon and make sure the camera is angled so you can't see arthur
Nah buddy that works for blackwater and lower west elizabeth only, an invisible sniper will still kill you if you try to go to new austin(where the gun ur talkin bout is)

@@alejandrolopez2519you want the Angelo Bronte glitch for getting most of the collectibles, but for the Herbalist 9 stuff you'll need to use a buggy from Saint Denis to block the sniper fire
You can also re-play the chapter 2 mission where you rescue the drunk preacher from the RR tracks, while he's on the back of your horse passed out, you can enter Great Plains.
@@jameslaine2472 No. If you didn't know, you can re-play any main story mission that you have already played. Pause your game, select "Progress", then select "Story", then select the chapter you want, then there you'll see a list of all the missions that you played in that chapter, select one and at the bottom you'll see the option to Replay it. To replay the one I was talking about, select chapter 2, then select "Who is not without sin", then you'll replay that mission.
In Rdr2 you can Explore Blackwater only when playing as John Marston otherwise it's impossible to Explore Blackwater as Arthur because they are saying wanted Dead or alive

@suh0 I looked into this while on guarma during the story, but you can't get a perfect iguana pelt without the varmint rifle, and that rifle isn't available in guarma 😔
@@JimmyMac118I believe you can hunt iguanas on the small island in lake flat iron, not far from the camp at clemens point. Pretty sure that's where I got a perfect pelt in my last playthrough
No. Just be quick and avoid the trees and boulders in the Tall Tree area, then cut straight across to Blackwater once you reach the plains. And remember to take plenty of gold ring health items for you and gold ring endurance items for your horse. Eat some Minty Big Game Meat and use either some Horse Ointment or Horse Meal before you make the crossing near Lake Owanjila should help too.
2nd one doesn’t work, I was able to escape them the first time, but they instantly spawned again in the middle of a field nowhere near a road and absolutely blasted me to pieces
If using Brontë glitch, Can shop (except in blackwater, shops will be closed). Can shop in Armadillo and Tumbleweed though. You can also explore, find a few treasures, lock boxes, collect rare items, cigarette cards, hats, masks, Otis Miller Revolver, etc and even catch legendary fish. What you cannot do: hunt legendary animals, find dinosaur bones. You’ll need to bring lots of food and horse stimulant because you cannot camp, fast travel, or ride trains/stagecoaches
Wrong about the last part bud. I went all the way to Guarma during the Angelo Bronte mission tonight 11/30/2023 and got the Otis Miller revolver and ram skull mask etc etc on the way. Took 2 and a half hours but shit we got er done 🤠🐎🍻
By the time you CAN explore this region - it's pretty much too late. From the wastness of a region and the fact that it has some minor encounters - I get the feeling that they wanted to add missions in that region (or DLCs), but ran out of time so instead of removing majority of it - they "disabled" it until very end, when no one should even care about it. It's really sad, because it is interesting region and killing particular folks there is a very good business
when i visit black water in ch 2 mission "first shall be last" there is a falling to ground glitch all over the place that i can't do the mission , anyone knows how to fix it ?

I went to Blackwater as Arthur killed all the policeman and one glitched and spawned under the dock and I was able to explore Blackwater as long as I wanted. It was awesome. Oh also, I have Billy midnights gun and I got Brontës Mauser and made it look like Billies so now I have dual Mauser’s.
How do you kill all policeman? And how do you get rid of the sniper because even when I escape from them the sniper always kills me. I tried the wagon they still killed me
Blackwater shops are blocked as Arthur, the only avaiable shop is the saloon but it's always blocked and sometimes in the map randomly it becomes avaiable but always inaccessible, everything is blocked even with the Angelo Bronte Glitch

works for early areas but when u go deeper into the locked area u will get killed :( - so for example it won’t work to hunt the legendary animals
I also found no plants spawn when using the bounty hunter method, so it was fairly pointless.

Everytime i entire blackwater the patrol are just there and everywhere id kill them all but theyd just spawn right above me

Actually you can fish for legendary but not animals and no plants dammit, you can loot and get the elemental treasure done also sell your horse to horse fence over and over before getting there and you can make big bucks you get money and keep horse so just keep selling until you have all the money you want want take most valuable horse horse mine was white Arabian $360 a pop @Puffyorange

I figured that out pretty early on with all bounties. You're fine until you do anything more than cross a road. Then the patrols are one you.
You also have to watch camping. If you camp and take too long cooking, you'll hear the voices of lawmen sneaking up on your camp and you have time to book it. Or if you sleep you will hear them as you're waking up and be ready to run right away. You can go back later to dismantle camp.
I just tried the bounty way today but with the first bounty from valentine! I went in all good but after going in past blackwater the sniper got me!! I don't know if it will do any difference with the bounty showing in this video so i will try it again! I was trying to get to otis miller cave to get the revolver

You can also go to new austin without getting killed by the sniper, just get a covered wagon and make sure the camera is angled so you can't see arthur

Nah buddy that works for blackwater and lower west elizabeth only, an invisible sniper will still kill you if you try to go to new austin(where the gun ur talkin bout is)

@@alejandrolopez2519 You can explore around tall trees, go to blackwater but if you wanna go to new austin steal a buggy around st denis and you should be able to enter new austin(probably best if you watch a vid about it)
@@alejandrolopez2519you want the Angelo Bronte glitch for getting most of the collectibles, but for the Herbalist 9 stuff you'll need to use a buggy from Saint Denis to block the sniper fire

You can also re-play the chapter 2 mission where you rescue the drunk preacher from the RR tracks, while he's on the back of your horse passed out, you can enter Great Plains.

@@jameslaine2472 No. If you didn't know, you can re-play any main story mission that you have already played.
Pause your game, select "Progress", then select "Story", then select the chapter you want, then there you'll see a list of all the missions that you played in that chapter, select one and at the bottom you'll see the option to Replay it.
To replay the one I was talking about, select chapter 2, then select "Who is not without sin", then you'll replay that mission.

In Rdr2 you can Explore Blackwater only when playing as John Marston otherwise it's impossible to Explore Blackwater as Arthur because they are saying wanted Dead or alive

@suh0 I looked into this while on guarma during the story, but you can't get a perfect iguana pelt without the varmint rifle, and that rifle isn't available in guarma 😔
@@JimmyMac118I believe you can hunt iguanas on the small island in lake flat iron, not far from the camp at clemens point. Pretty sure that's where I got a perfect pelt in my last playthrough

No. Just be quick and avoid the trees and boulders in the Tall Tree area, then cut straight across to Blackwater once you reach the plains. And remember to take plenty of gold ring health items for you and gold ring endurance items for your horse. Eat some Minty Big Game Meat and use either some Horse Ointment or Horse Meal before you make the crossing near Lake Owanjila should help too.

You can explore but what can you do? Can i get the gray Arabian? Can I shop?❤
If using Brontë glitch, Can shop (except in blackwater, shops will be closed). Can shop in Armadillo and Tumbleweed though. You can also explore, find a few treasures, lock boxes, collect rare items, cigarette cards, hats, masks, Otis Miller Revolver, etc and even catch legendary fish. What you cannot do: hunt legendary animals, find dinosaur bones. You’ll need to bring lots of food and horse stimulant because you cannot camp, fast travel, or ride trains/stagecoaches

you can do all satchel upgrades with artur. there is iguana in normal map, you can google it. it is very easy
you can get the iguana on the little island right there next to the chapter 3 camp, you don't need to go to New Austin for any of the satchel skins.

By the time you CAN explore this region - it's pretty much too late. From the wastness of a region and the fact that it has some minor encounters - I get the feeling that they wanted to add missions in that region (or DLCs), but ran out of time so instead of removing majority of it - they "disabled" it until very end, when no one should even care about it.
It's really sad, because it is interesting region and killing particular folks there is a very good business

I went to Blackwater as Arthur killed all the policeman and one glitched and spawned under the dock and I was able to explore Blackwater as long as I wanted. It was awesome. Oh also, I have Billy midnights gun and I got Brontës Mauser and made it look like Billies so now I have dual Mauser’s.
How do you kill all policeman? And how do you get rid of the sniper because even when I escape from them the sniper always kills me.

Blackwater shops are blocked as Arthur, the only avaiable shop is the saloon but it's always blocked and sometimes in the map randomly it becomes avaiable but always inaccessible, everything is blocked even with the Angelo Bronte Glitch
I explored it twice but twice I got killed and everything I explored went gone😭
