Hugely noticed this! Many many people who can’t sing always have an opinion on who can sing and who can’t and spend all day on the internet trying to rank singers and judge them lol
@@erikeriks - I don’t know about that. People think they can do all sorts of stuff pros can do. Take boxing, football, and basketball just to name a few. Most people can get good enough at those things within 6 months to a year to at least have fun and not get laughed at, even acting, but singing is on a completely different level IMO.
your tip about visualing pitch horizontally vs vertically made a WORLD of difference for me. Thank you for sharing, and all the best for your musical journey!!!
@@Sartinewat-1221 so to sing higher notes using the chest voice, you NEED to increase the volume. imagining that as throw and that you have to be louder in order to hit those notes helps with connecting the dots. That is not the only way though, in practice you'll mostly be singing higher notes using head voice. but it is essential to sing high notes in chest voice when you're starting out. It helps with dynamics and opening your voice up.
Love this! So many singing progress videos the person could already sing WAAY above average from the start. This one we get to see an actual normal person making realistic progress. The control you managed to achieve over your higher register in just 3 months is amazing. I saw your 100 days of singing video a few months ago and felt really inspired not to give up on my own voice and this video has once again filled me with motivation all over again. You are now my official go-to when I am lacking motivation to keep practicing.
I really love this for you! It takes courage to post the beginning stages but that's what makes it so real. Thanks for sharing your journey, you can only get better from here :)
this is so helpful and inspiring! I also struggle with too much air in my voice, i'd really appreciate it if you could do a more in depth video of how you managed to reach such a full voice as shown by the end of the video and the excersizes that helped you with it :)
It's been a long while since I last watched a video from beginning to end without skipping. In nowadays standards, the value of this video is almost unprecedent. This is exactly the type of video that made you YT what it is today, and precisely the type of video we don't find anymore... thank you. Here's my like 👍
8:01 is seriously the best I've heard you sound! I'm a singer too and it took sooo long for me to find the stye of singing that suits my voice the best. I wanted to sing clear and belty, like a disney princess, but I've found my vocals sound the best in songs like billie, olivia rodrigo or anson seabra. softer, breathier. And I think an interesting video would be you trying different singing styles, like listen to a justin bieber song and try to mimick exactly how he sound, then go on to ed sheeran, eminem, try different things, experiment. Because hearing 8:01 I'm thinking maybe you're in the wrong track trying to sing low and breathy, maybe a more clear, strong voice would suit you better?
dope going with the deeper tone singing voice bro. Shits fire. Literally learning how to sing for no reason at all other then just enjoying it & actually wanting to sound better then the average person is fun & exciting
This is so nice to see :) I’ve been singing for a while and while I know I’m getting better it’s more like small things but it’s reminding me of when I first started to sing and just experimenting with things til it worked for me. And also recording myself and listening was so huge!!! I honestly should get back to that. amazing vid, best of luck with ur singing (and music making!) journey!!!!
thanks for posting this!! super inspiring. i've always wanted to sing and so i just started taking vocal lessons too. i'm hoping down the line i'll make great progress just as you :D
You have a really nice voice, its just the pitch and the confidence and thats about it. like you're quite breathy in your singing which is quite soothing so once you get the pitch, the highs, and the lows down pat you'll sound amazing
Really nice improvements in a short time! It's great inspiration for people to see an "average" voice being able to improve like that. I think people can get stuck in the idea that they simply don't "have the voice for it" when really almost anyone should be able to learn and improve if they put the time in.

I'm not gonna lie, your natural voice is the same voice I use to quote assholes while explaining hypothetical situations to friends for shits and giggles, lmao~
Hey man, really enjoyable video, well done on the progress you made in only 3 x months🙌🏾 Even though it’s still early in your vocal journey, it’s evident you’re grasping the concepts. Keep progressing, there is so much still to discover but the pay off is worth it. I can hear you have a really pillowy smooth mix tone in your vocal sound that will only shine brighter and extend further, as it continues to come out more💯
dude, the one really important thing that really hit me now is when you mentioned visualizing high notes, I have been visualizing them in a vertical scale as well and if you imagine it in a horizontal scale really makes it easier
Great job man. Yours vocal definitely get better. Keep trying. Little tips for you trying not to breathe while singing. Hold youre breath like underwater. And focus your Voice on one narrow little point. Feeling of compactness and comfort is the most correct Feeling in vocals. With this you can make the correct placement in your throat
Heey Marc, i am drile. I am an aspiring singer, song writer, and I gotta say apart from Justin b and Angelica Hale. YOU are a major inspiration to me and others. KEep the good work 👍👍. thank you. 😃😸🙏
I think the most helpful thing you can work on is how steady your vocals are not that they have to always be really steady but you should fluctuate it so you have the voice originality and the nice clear hard sound
Bro I watched your video like a year ago and I was inspired but I didn't think how much I could it just by vocal lessons online. I like what you're doing. It's more interesting to watch because I started trying it for myself. Where have you gone though? You've definitely improved and now I have to google what Belting is. Hope you're doing well
Yeah, honestly your falsetto is pretty darn good! I’d just focus mostly on your chest voice and you probably will be good enough to do basic pop songs.
I have a good voice and I want to improve it through vocal training. But, I have tonsillitis and throat allergy which is ruining my voice 🤧 I saw so many doctors but no use..
this was cool, thanks mate, i didnt think you could change your voice so much in a short time. Also, you could be a double for the guy that was played jason in The Good Place, it took me a while to work out who you reminded me of haha, its kinda uncanny! Even your mannerisms are similar (in a good way he's awesome :D)
That's incredible man! U sound better than the first one u recorded yourself. I just want to suggest not try to sing from your nose. Sometimes its hard to reach a higher note when we are singing from our nose. And if you can do it, I can assure u that u will not sound breathy also. When you pronounce the words while u are singing it will become clearer. Try to check what is your true voice.

I didn’t watch the full vid yet might finish it later tbh but I was curious, I skipped through , did you go to a singing teacher in person or did you take lessons from a pre made course for purchase online? I used to take lessons so I’m curious, but I’ll check back on the video and watch it fully , I was just curious so I could judge the progress properly
How did you get rid of the break and connect head and chest voice? That has been my biggest problem for literally forever… Also amazing progress! Inspiring me to get better as well!
btw the song I sang at the end is an original called ‘Found’ by Marc Wavy 😌
