Watch next 📺 Fight or Flight? - Mobilisation in Ukraine
In Ukraine, the noose is tightening around conscientious objectors. Men who can fight are being hunted down to swell the military’s ranks. In a country tired after years of war, some are asking: Should we flee abroad or stay and fight?

Thank you for the great documentation. It's always good to hear and see how the ordinary people in Ukraine are doing. I'm always surprised at how proud and strong they are! In total contrast to their Russian neighbours who have allowed themselves to be completely enslaved by their corrupt government! Slava Ukraine! 💪🇺🇦

You're not correct about founding of Odesa. Katherine II didn't found it, just expanded. It was a Kotsyubiiv city from 15 century, a city with fort, market and trading port, and grain was exported from those times of Grand Duchy Lithuania. Then city went under Turkish control and was named Khadjibey. Don't repeat ruZZian historical lies.

St. Petersburg was not founded by Peter I, it was a Swedish town of Nyenskants. New Your was an Indian village, it was just expanded. Is it logical?

@@Сигизмунд-с2й no, it's not logical. You can't found something that was already founded and existed for 3 centuries. You can't say that Istanbul was founded in 1453 just because Turks conquered Konstantinopol. And almost each and every city expands with time, Kyiv in 10 century was just tiny plot of land with walls, comparing to the modern city size, same with every other city, Paris, London etc.

They are correct. But it is not important. Important is what it is now.

Lithuania did not export much but the port was used to buy luxury Turkish goods not seen in Northern Europe before. What is important Russia expanded it into a large port to export its many goods and made it into a large city instead of a trading post.

@@Сигизмунд-с2й Only Peter the Great could found and build his own city. Before him it was not St. Petersburg. Peter defeated the Swedish Empire in Europe at Poltava (Ukraine)and captured Narva and built a Russian fort. Peter changed the face of Europe and expanded Russia Westwards.

Since 2014 it was never about Ukraine being a part of the EU but about NATO wanting Ukraine to weaken Russia.

Under the Soviet union the people lived together. As soon as independence comes ,nationalism raises its ugly head just like it did in Yugoslavia. When will we ever learn

Slovenia declared independence and then Croatia and the Serbs went crazy and wanted blood. Tito and socialism was what kept Yugoslavia together under the illusion they were all equal.

They are so resilient and inventive I'm not sure the EU red tape and restrictions will be to their liking! I think they will find it difficult dealing with the bureaucracy.

Having lived in Belarus for 6 years I was amazed how easy and cheaply you can get things done, like getting residency and building a house in a forest, compared to Australia. There seems much more freedom as well as during covid we were treated like prisoners in our own land and shows we are still convicts from England.
