The only reason Challenge mode exists is because the devs don't want anyone to beat the game %100.

@@manuelmontoya8839 nah getting perfect on every game is Easy. Only a few gave me some problems. I think it took me something like 10 hours in total to finish EVERY game in perfect. So no, the real hard part about finishing this game 100% is finishing all challenges (and this one is probably the hardest so far)

Working dough is actually pretty easy for me.
The second one is understandably difficult because of how "all over the show" it is. It was the one that I was most concerned about making a mistake on when recording this.
Why? Fever's Working Dough 2 is easier for me than the first one.
REALLY IMPORTANT TIP FOR PEOPLE HAVING TROUBLE:
You can use both the d-pad and the a button on Tweezers and Contact. That means for both the really fast hairs in Rhythm Tweezers 2 and the really fast translations in Second Contact, you can alternate the a button and d-pad. After I realized that I was finally able to beat this challenge. Also just as a general tip, you should probably perfect every minigame before even attempting Paprika World since many of the minigames have to be perfected/played extremely well at a higher speed anyway.
NetWalkthroughs I used Simple Tap instead, as my "tapping" is more faster than buttons. I also used that on Ninja Bodyguard.
NetWalkthroughs Alternating the a button and d-pad is the only reason I was able to even finish the Perfect Campaign; I'd still be stuck on Machine Remix if it wasn't for that! I also considered using the "Simple Tap" option, but that kinda makes the game feel like it's on easy mode. I can proudly say that I finished the Perfect Campaign with buttons only.
I had no idea that worked on First/Second Contact as well, though, so thank you for that!

It's still really hard even with the D-pad, although I'd imagine it would be nearly impossible without it
i though literally everyone was convinced lockstep lockdown was the hardest, but nope. more people than i expected agree with me that this is true Rhythm Hell.
The best part about this is I can torture my friends by choosing this train and complete it consistently while they fail first try. :D
I got to the final game without missing anything, first try.
Then I lost pretty much immediately for all 3 lives.

This is definitely the hardest challenge in the game. I beat Lockstep Hell on my first try, but this has already taken me at least a dozen tries. It hurts me.
Same, Lockstep challenge was hard but I made it first try bcs I love Lockstep but this one, its so hard. The Rhythm Tweezers 2 parts with the fast hairs is stupid. 😭
I've never had problem with the working doughs. The biggest reason why it's annoying to me is because there's barely any rhythm in it. The hardest for me was second contact.
Main reason why a lot of people hate WD2. I like the traditional Japanese style, but the execution could've been better

From what I've seen, you're either good at WD1 or WD2, never both. I always found 2 to be easier.

Me and my friend encountered a weird glitch in this route. When we got to first contact, I was playing like normal but his screen was all black and he wasn't failing any inputs, then when it finished, both our screens went black causing both of us to turn off and back on our 3DS's

I did this challenge on my second try, no lives lost, and i hate myself for doing that, and here are my comments on the games:
Rhythm Tweezers - Don't take it lightly, as you will stumble if you are to late in plucking.
First Contact - very simple
Working Dough - Don't rush in the long parts.
Rhythm Tweezers 2 - Lost the Challenge Train to this, but managed to do it second try. Your savior is that timing in this game is not strict.
Second Contact - I dunno, I kinda got lucky.
Working Dough 2 - Unlike others, this was one of my favorite games to play, and offbeats seem to attract me in these games. It's actually easier than the first one.

I find shoot em up easier, especially on tempo up (well not really, but it beats seeing working dough like 6 times in challenge land)

if only nintendo knew the difficulty of challenge land; its 2 DAM HAI (paprika challenges). for this one in particular, i rather have two lives(tweezers and first contact), then three for working dough(s). still, i rather have my gba games remastered. [considering i have all 4 rhythm heaven games with the 3ds version being the japanese version all beaten at least twice]

If you are having trouble with Second Contact and Rhythm Tweezers 2 use touch controls instead of buttons... and two stylus, one in each hand. Is much, much easier and comfortable. At least for me, using buttons is not an option in this challenge. Some parts are so fast that sometimes my fingers will not respond at all to some inputs xD
You could also alternate between tye d-pad and A button.
I managed to beat this one in my first try somehow. If you're having problems on tweezers/contact, remember to use the DPad to hit those pesky triplets. As for Working Dough 2, I'd say play closer attention to the visual clues than to the shitty offbeat rhythm.

Well, Rhythm Tweezers 2 and second contact are actually easy once you know to do the fast parts but still have pressure too.
Well, the fast parts are the only hard parts I think, the rest is pretty easy.
On the other hand, the whole WD2 minigame is hard.. I can't even beat it :(
Perfecting Machine Remix helped me for that so yeah I had something to train on!
Also, I'll try to do that! It's the only thing keeping me away from 100%ing megamix :/
Just be glad Moai Do Whop 2 isn't in this. Or the old built-to-scale for that matter.

Vegeta-Pull 2 is the hardest one in this challenge. The hardest could be the following two, but I never got that far.
I literally tried so hard to NOT use the D-Pad to play this the first few times.
...After trying again and again to play Vegeta-Pull 2 and Second Contact that way, I gave in and used the D-Pad anyways.
Oh, can I ask one more thing?
For the really tap sections (end of Rhythm Tweezers 2 and Second Contact) do you alternate between A and the D-pad or just use A? I feel like I'm not alternating enough or doing it too fast.

Having beaten all of the challenges recently, I would say the hardest one for me was probably Lockstep Lockdown, but that's mostly because I'm not the best at Lockstep, so between each one, I'd have to take a huge break.
Also, I love sped up First and Second Contact music-wise, so that probably helped.

Platinum Clear: Clear with 3 lives left + Perfect all songs
Gold Clear: Clear with 3 lives left (Train at green)
Silver Clear: Clear with 2 lives left (Train at yellow)
Bronze Clear: Clear with 1 life left (Train at red)
Terrible idea, makes the game much harder to 100%

there was no tambourine 2, and they probably wouldn't include a story version because of its difficulty, so i doubt it'd be in. rockers and moai-doo-wop seem plausible though, mainly since there are no ds games in the challenge

I've wanted to ask you this, looking at your videos. How many attempts do some of these levels take? You make it look really easy, but is one like this EXTREMELY time-consuming?

I would have practiced this challenge and the regular speed versions of the songs for 1~2 hours before recording this run.
zedamex How long did it take for you to specifically get the hang of this one? I am NOT good at Rhythm Tweezer's fast hairs.
It was a while before I completed it the first time, I can't remember, would have been a week or two since I played a lot when the game first came out.
As for recording to post this video, it was under 2 hours.

Nolan Yee the whole challenge is pretty easy, second contact was literally the only one that can trip you up.
Nolan Yee Second Contact has those RIDICULOUSLY hard parts that will trip you over if you aren't prepared.

Every game in this challenge was fairly easy, well except working dough 1. I hate working dough now, the amount of times I failed on it was astounding
I have one more question about this game. I got everything down but the end of Second Contact.
For the "I have to go back" line (1-2-12-1) near the end of the stage, do you have any tips on how to actually get the quick tap in between? I think I'm doing it too early or something, but I can't really tell. Once I failed just by pressing the button a bit later, making me think I missed it entirely.

In Return to Interpreter, can you use the dPad as a substitute for A? I vaguely recall being able to do that for Vegeta-pull in Rhythm Tengoku, and I imagine it would be hell to mimic that farmer without it...

Vegeta-pull 2 trips me up. Turns out I'm used to being precise with A presses, but not A releases.
I am still in Saltwater world, but i know i'll struggle to beat this one. I have perfected Rhythm Tweezers (1 & 2) as well as First and Second contact with ease, but Working Dough... argh, i haven't perfected 1 or 2, i fucking hate them, i never even managed to get the Skill Star.
Why do people had problems with WD2? come on its not faster than WD1, it gives you slow vibe, i get that people arent used to Alternating, but literally if you made it this far, then your prepared. if not, just try Machine Remix like 25 times till you get the hang of it. that will give you good luck. but once you get it done, its kinda easy.
I've yet to get past Rhythm Tweezers 2. I think I just panic too much on the consecutive pulls.

yes. the hardest one for me was probably the one where you have to get a perfect on Exhibition Match, Sneaky Spirits, and Ninja Bodyguard in just three lives.

USE STYLUS MODE!!! TRUST ME ITS SO MUCN MORE EASIER! The inputs in second contact are sooo much easier to land!
I need to feel the click of a button to be satisfied. Although I'm playing sone touch based music rhythm, I personally have 10x more fun hitting buttons. It is technically easier though as there is only one action. No dpad vs A button though.
What do the other 2 worlds do to the music
Tempo up if used is usually not as fast (see lockstep hell video), but rules are no different really, x lives, perfects hits or get eaten, or score above 80/85 etc
+zedamex So yellow is easy, blue is medium, and red is hard? That explains why you got the best reward for this one.

I found I needed to play the regular ones a few times to drill in the timing a bit prior to doing the sped up versions.
