    I essentially did the same thing with my SEBA CJ2 primes just without the liner in because I wanted to stretch the toe box of the shell. I wish I could send photos on here of the FM3 carbons, because I gutted those & completely removed the skin from the carbon shell, the skins are attached with a strong adhesive. But with the FM3 I was able to completely gut the boot & skin so it would fit a liner. I used locktite spray adhesive to wrap the skin on to the shell. Never had any issues with them coming apart or anything. Back in like 2008-15 ish the big thing was down sizing skates like the Valo, Nimh, SSM & skinned Cults by toe cutting the boot, removing the toe portion or even as far as the whole toe cap along with the bridge. Hopefully this heating & stretching method will work out for you

      Hi bro, did it work for the CJ2 Prime? I have the same problem and I wanna expand the toe box in terms of lenght, it would be nice see the result and if you have some advices. Thanks!

    Stretching them while warm without the liners would probably stretch them nicely, or maybe put them back in the oven after first stretching with the stretcher still in it and take it in and out of the oven stretching it each time a few turns until you reach the size you want.

    Nice. Yeah I did the same for my Aeons. I'm between sizes so I buy smaller. I use a heat gun on the pressure points, then do 5 or 6 somewhat uncomfortable sessions without the inner sole and shock absorber.

    What I’ve learned from a friend in Colorado is if you have a ski shop near buy they can stretch boot to your specs my friend is like a 13 boot in skates so he goes to the ski shop and gets them stretched to his liking for future reference

    Not finished yet but why put liners in if it's the shell you are trying to stretch

    • @okthisisthelasttimeipromise
      @okthisisthelasttimeipromise 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The boot stretcher needed a little extra padding to really be effective. It’s rated to like size 12 and an empty shell would probably be larger than that …ish.

    • @longtermsquatter
      @longtermsquatter 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@okthisisthelasttimeipromise so a 8-9 shell would be larger than a 12 shoe?

      Fall, stand up, try again and learn something new is the game since we're young. It's kind of crazy to stop this process when you get older, wiser and stronger because of fear. Skating is one of the most satisfying and naturally things we should do. ✌️Coming back at the age of 40 and it was the best decision of my life. Start slow, get yourself some padding and you'll be fine. Never quit with things that make you happy.

      I just got a pair of UK8 AG10s and they are the most uncomfortable thing out the box I've ever felt... Did you only do the liners or the shell too?

    • @Franz_giblet
      @Franz_giblet 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@EdwardMilsomI bought some Ag 20 last year, skated them and they felt uncomfortable so I changed the liner and it completely changed the comfort. I found the foam feels really hard on the prime liners that come with them. If you’ve got some other liners it’s worth swapping them.

    • @Franz_giblet
      @Franz_giblet 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@EdwardMilsom I’ve got the ag20 which is a shared shell size so as I was at the lower end of the shell I got crown liners which are the thickest liner to take up some space but the ag10 is individual shell sizes so it depends how much room you’ve got in the shell as to which liner would be best.
